Peanut Butter Breath - AC Medical - February 2021

More pictures : https://imgur.com/a/YlZLvD1 Out of all the strains I tried, this Peanut Butter Breath doesn't seem to be as bad in terms of smoke quality which is refreshing that I can give a positive review. Very lovely looking buds, displaying a wild colour pallet that consists of light purples and forest greens, absolutely smothered in a forest of monstrous orange hairs. Sticky, dense, and super frosty, followed by a neat and tidy trim. This cut surely possesses more of the Dosi Dos in it's lineage, having a profile that's very rich and pungent with hints of sweet, nutty dough. Real nice as far as PBB cuts go with pleasant aromas and flavours although this one suffers the same fate as the other strains I reviewed. It burns with a grey ash center that's encrusted in a layer of dark ash, in turn resulting in a heavier, harsher smoke but not as unpleasant as I thought it would be. A moderately potent, hybrid type of buzz, beginning with a euphoric head stone before balancing out with more soothing and calming sensations. Doesn't really tread too far in any one category, but instead gives you a little taste of both worlds in cerebral and bodily effects. Maybe a little short lived however, encouraging you to go for another toke sooner than usual.

Pura Breath - AC Medical - February 2021

More pictures : http://imgur.com/a/okvzqOU This Pura Breath is along the same lines as the Tuna Kush I previously reviewed. It has a lovely bag appeal and decent nose but burns completely dark and arrived a little on the dry side. Also found a bunch of very tiny premature seeds that are easy to miss if not looking for them. Interesting nose to this strain despite it's issues. Very funky and almost repulsive as it's a combination of body odor, fuel, and pine with a little rubbery garlic kind of thing going on. The taste however is impacted by the quality of the burn as the cherry never wants to fully get going. It's mostly a flavour of dank earth and pine but it's hard to get much more than that, especially when factoring in the harshness. I didn't smoke much of this one and outed the joint less than halfway through as it's ash is completely black and smudges and stains the fingers. I can only comment on it's effects to a certain degree but it seems like it packs a good potency and would have some potential as it left me with a stoney head high from the little I smoked.

Tuna Kush - AC Medical - February 2021

Gave this Tuna Kush a little longer jar time with an integra before reviewing in hopes of pumping some life back in to it as it arrived feeling pretty crisp. The humidity pack definitely did it's job in bringing back the moisture and it's actually quite sticky now. Sadly, it didn't help at all with the very dark black ash and unpleasant throat raspyness, especially in a bong. The nose has a decent gassy tuna aroma to it and the flavours are there as well but it's not something you want to keep smoking as your throat continues to feel irritated. It's one saving grace are it's potent effects that hit like a tuna should but overall it's just not enjoyable to put it in the simplest terms.

Lindsay OG - AC Medical - Feb/21

All 4 strains came in ziplocks, no humidity packs, wrapped in a whole foods shopping bag. Arrived crispy, though the Lindsay is the only one that arrived with enough humidity to smoke. After a week in a jar they’re all up to humidity, and still just as bad lol. Smell is pretty strong, gassy kush that Lindsay has. Buds were small- large sized, well trimmed, sticky after being re humidified. Smoke is fairly harsh, a bit of kush flavour in the joint but not really. Ash, see for yourself, they had the audacity to put this: Burn:White ash with a slight skunky flavor at first.... It’s black like the rest of the strains, lol. Effects are ok, body relaxation and some munchies. Not a KO unless you supercharge it with some rosin. All in all I would recommend everyone stay far away from AC med. pretty sure they’re living off their name/rep alone at this point, not quality that’s for sure

Blue Monkey - AC Medical - February 2021

More pics. Can even spot a seed or seed pod in one : https://imgur.com/a/FPhN3rP This Blue Monkey has some great visuals and smells terrific. Like a blend of tropical berries and pine. Unfortunately it stops there. It arrived very dry and crisp, leaving behind flakes when trying to take a picture as it was that crumbly. Four days with an Integra has done it wonders texture wise but the taste is extremely muted. One of those times where joints just taste like smoke with no distinguishable or stand out terpenes and it wants to burn fast and super hot. I also found a couple seeds which weren't fully premature but also didn't look viable. The smoke was a little sharp and burned with a darker grey ash and not very enjoyable at all. Put it out half way and I felt minor sativa effects come on that were more heady and focused than anything. Definitely should be under a budget category with all it's flaws. (can't find this one on the site anymore. Not sure if it's been removed or sold out)

Red Congolese - AC Medical - February 2021

Apparently this batch burned bad and while it wasn't my experience (several factors included) I'll remove my review. I acknowledged and mentioned the seeds which are definitely a nuisance and suggested to them that the price of this Congo should have reflected this batch a few days ago in a discord server.

AC medical Tangerine Dream popcorn Dec 2020

I'm posting this because I've seen a few other negative comments lately about AC Medical. I thought I'd try these guys out because of the good reputation they had in the past. I still have almost the full OZ of this stuff because I can't smoke it. It was marked as being AAAA with smooth burn and white ash, they couldn't be more wrong... one of the worst orders Iv'e ever received from a MOM. Completely dark black ash, wont burn and has a foul taste. Avoid these guys...I wouldn't even give this stuff away, I've been hanging onto it but it should have gone in the trash long ago

Death Bubba - AC Medical - Feb/21

Part of 2oz AAAA mix n Match. Came bone dry, medium- small beautiful looking buds (until you find the premature seeds, see top of right-side bud). Smells musty / dry. After some jar time it’s got an earthy smell. Taste is earthy too, you can see the ash for yourself lol. Effects are fairly strong, couch lock and munchie inducing. Short-lived, hour and a half or so. Wouldn’t recommend.

Red Congo - AC Medical - Feb/21

Got the 2oz AAAA mix n match, extremely let down. Will review strains individually. Though I will say they all came in regular ziplocks, no humidity packs. And, it came wrapped in a brown whole foods shopping bag, lol. This red Congo smells good, strong citrus. It is BONE dry, like if you hold it it’ll turn to dust. Buds have immature seeds in them as you can see in the picture (kinda, lowest bud bottom part). Have been in a jar almost 24h, still dry. Other places (DNMN) can throw a half oz in a tin with a humidity pack for $30, don’t see why ACM can’t. Somewhat citrus tasting smoke, mostly harsh and flavourless lol. Ash is near black. Effects are good, heady high, pretty standard sativa. Not much better than stuff I’ve paid $75-100 an ounce for lol (but certainly better) All in all I think people hyping this are trying to help their buyers remorse, it’s really not that great. The blue dream I got from WTF is about the same. Looks great, sure. Doesn’t perform to its price.

Lindsay OG - AC Medical - Dec 2020 (Preview)

Was really excited to try some Lindsay OG again, as an excellent prior batch of this Canadian classic was one of my favourite indicas to date. These resinous medium nugs arrived slightly dry, with a modest aroma of woody, earthy kush, becoming slightly gassier when ground.. Starts as woody, earthy, dank notes then settles into its familiar earthy/kushy richness with hints of gas/spice, then finishes as a 'roasted', earthy diesel. There'a touch of harshness but generally this cultivar has pretty good flavour expression, despite not being as terpy or full-bodied as the aforementioned prior batch of Lindsay OG (the ancient flower from Aug '19 still has more aroma, flavour + potency in comparison to this batch) Effects wise, I feel the euphoric, balanced OG kick first, then some stoney, enjoyable relaxation creeps in, plus slight delayed sedation.. 8.5 Potency in our Database scale as of now, ultimately this batch didn't really connect the same way as the heavier + more flavourful prior batch, but was still an enjoyable afternoon/evening indica-dom for me Expected 416 Database Score: 88-91 AAAA-
