Huckleberry - BcBudDispatch - October 15
/u/thechronickid_00
It's rated as a quad and I'd have to agree or at least high AAA + I only smoked it early this morning in the form of a few bong hits and it's not harsh at all with a smooth berry tasting smoke. White ash in the bowl. I'll try to smoke a joint tomorrow. This was sent due to 2 grams missing in my last order of AA strawberry cream. Then they forgot to send a couple grams again in my next order. So this one was sent without having to order anything and they gave me a 3.5 of this AAAA, 1 gram of AAA moby dick, and another 3.5 of AA tangie. So i suppose an error can sometimes work in my favour lol. I've had this happen with a couple places in the past where at first I'm a little annoyed but i always end up getting more lol.Oct 16, 2018
Strawberry Cream - Bcbuddispatch - September 28
/u/thechronickid_00
For a AA+ it's very nice. Not the strongest nose out of the bag but i let it sit for a few hours in a jar with a boveda and it came alive. Sweet berry and vanilla nose and when grinded the strawberry comes out very similar to a strawberry cough. Taste is not as 'explosive' as the smell but its there and very smooth. The best i can describe the high is very similar to blue dream. Only thing that sucked was the half o was slightly under. Almost 2 grams.Sep 28, 2018
BC Bud Dispatch Review
WeirdoD613
BC Bud Dispatch Delivery - 2 days from BC to ON (ordered Tuesday - shipped Wednesday - Received Friday) Packaging - Vacuum Sealed...zero smell, strains individually bagged in mylar packages with label on coloured side...clear side shows bud :) only complaint here is it comes in a CP bubble wrap bag instead of box...I think a lot of us prefer boxes from MOM's.. Price - pretty decent...cheaper than most moms in OZ's and smaller amounts (1/8, 1/4 etc) Quality doesn't suffer Weight - all grams and 1/8 were at least 0.2+ grams heavier than ordered Quality - I'd rate all strains AAA and a couple AAA+ (Pink Kush Killz, Citrus Sap, Blackberry) nicely trimmed..nicely cured and not too dry at all Method Consumed - tried each strain in a vape (untilian 420 @ 220°C) and in a joint (Raw papers with Filter Tip) Vaped very nicely and burned in a joint with a nice white ash Appearance and smell - decent looking buds...lots of crystals and not to squished (could be contributed to CP, and not being in a box) No hay smell at all...just a nice proper smell of each individual strain (Blackberry wins in this category) Strain effects ------------------------ Pineapple: Very nice heady hybrid (similar to White Widow without pronounced anxiety) with calming effects, helping ease anxiety and made watching Avengers Infinity War extra amazing! (Yes, I just watched it for the first time now) Not much munchies...overall excellent for social environments and/or video games/poker (does not make you 'stupid' buzzed) Citrus Sap: Pretty damn potent...fell asleep on the couch after about 45 minutes from first pull..great strain and effects for us insomniacs out there Strawberry Cough: I'm biased because this is my all time favourite Sativa (2nd to Sour Diesel)...I have anxiety and majority of Sativas don't mix well with me...first time I had SBC was from Tilray and I fell in love... I finally found a great daytime smoke that doesn't make me paranoid or anxious...then Tilray ran out...for like 8 months now lol...so BCBD had it in stock and I had to buy some...well this was on par with the SBC I've had in the past and I love it...zero anxiety...zero paranoia...and I talk A LOT when I smoke SBC (great social strain) kicks in about 3 - 6 minutes after first pull Duration: 1.5 hours Great for social anxiety, fatigue and focus Pink Kush (Killz): I have only positive things to say about how high I am right now. I smoked a full vape session and am numb to any pain in my body. My mind feels at ease and I just feel really happy. This is a great strain for relaxing, stress, anxiety and depression. King Kush: I wasn't a huge fan of King Kush...it gave me a headache after a half hour and the high wasn't great...very mild and just overall weak with a bad headache Bruce Banner: Very nice clear headed hybrid...tons of euphoria..tons (as far as cannabis goes)...and just overall happiness...amazing strain 5/5 Duration: 2+ hours Rockstar (popcorn): Had similar taste and effects of every other quality Rockstar I've had...great for headaches and insomnia Duration: 2 hours Cons: Did not love the taste in my vape.. Blackberry: Smoked a J of this and went out side and looked up in the stars in awww for half hour...very nice smooth indica buzz that melts into a nice warm body high that has you floating in the most comfortable way...5/5 :) Red Poison: IT'S POISON! lol just playin' This was the only strain to give me a slight headache after vaping (the J didn't do this). The high was intense and kicked in quick and was a nice social strain....it did cause a bit of head fog though. I'd say good for days of not much to do but chill. Side note: I did this review because BCDB has been awesome with me and customer service has been stellar to say the least...I didn't receive any free goods for doing this review...and I've ordered from about 9 or 10 different MOMs over the past couple years and a couple others have been great (Weedbay, Grasschief)...I just decided to start doing reviews now (my first detailed review...more to come). I wrote about each strain while buzzed off each particular strain. In order of my personal favourites out of these strains I reviewed are: 1. Blackberry (Favourite) 2. Strawberry Cough 3. Bruce Banner 4. Pink Kush 5. Pineapple 6. Citrus Sap 7. Rockstar 8. Red Poison 9. King Kush I also did this on my phone so I apologize for any grammar errors! Peace, WeirdoDSep 19, 2018
Comatose (popcorn) - Bcbuddispatch - August 28
/u/thechronickid_00
They really do mean popcorn haha. Haven't smoked it yet but has a very nice citrus smell that almost stings the nose. For the price its totally worth it. Will smoke soon. They also threw in a sample of the pink kush smalls and a sour key edible. Very nice of them to throw in stuff on such a small order.Aug 30, 2018
Shishkaberry - BC Bud Dispatch - August 2018
/u/Lifetime00
No the best looking batch I’ve had from BCBD. It came pretty flat and dry. Hopefully a few days with boveda helps. It is pretty caked and smells alright. Haven’t smoked it yet.Aug 12, 2018
BC Bud Dispatch - Tangie, Shishkaberry, and three kinds of shatter (Belated review from mid-July)
Zampano
MOM Name: BC Bud Dispatch Overall rating out of 10: 9/10 Sign Up: Quick and easy with no ID required. Ordering & Pricing: Ordering is done through their website in the normal way. BCBD has pretty competitive prices, with an ounce of cannabis running you anywhere from 110 to 250 dollars. They currently have nine strains in stock, though there's both regular and popcorn variants available for two of them. They also have a moderate assortment of concentrates available for pretty good prices, though they have zero edible selection aside from a few tinctures. While BCBD is a great option for flower and concentrates, I would not advise them for edibles, as their selection on that front is pretty lacking most of the time. This isn't a major issue for me since I rarely consume edibles anyway, but bear this in mind if you eat a lot of them. Communication: I didn't have to communicate via email on this order. However, the package was dispatched quickly and arrived in two days, same as all my previous orders. Packaging: As usual, the packaging job was excellent, at least on the MOM's end. A bubble mailer contained a vaccuum sealed clear bag which further contained the products. The flower came in thick resealable bags with custom labels while the shatter was contained in its manufacturer packaging. Why did I specify 'on the MOM's end'? Because the manufacturer's packaging for the shatter kinda sucks. For some reason, rather than enclosing the shatter in parchment or wax paper like every other gram I've ever bought from any source, they placed the shatter in plastic clamshell packaging that I've only ever previously seen used as an outer enclosure. All three of the grams, to one extent or another, are sticking to the plastic in a way where it's basically impossible to get it all off cleanly. You'll notice that there's some parchment paper in the photos, but that was added by me after opening so that it would only be sticking to one side of the packaging when closed. I suspect that I'll be able to get most of the shatter off if I throw it in the freezer or something, but it'd have been way better to have just avoided this problem entirely. Maybe this is a more common way of packaging shatter than I think and I'm overreacting, but as someone who has never encountered it before, I think it's a really dumb way to sell the stuff and I'd take parchment paper any day of the week over this sticky nightmare. Products: Packaging rant aside, let's get to the products. My order consisted of the following items: 14 grams of Tangie (sativa-dominant hybrid), 3.5 grams of Shishkaberry (80% indica), and one gram each of Cannaisseur Green Crack shatter (sativa), Cannaisseur White Widow shatter (hybrid), and Darkside shatter (hybrid). This came to a total cost of just over 151 dollars, including a 20% discount from their CDNMOM20 coupon (which unfortunately no longer seems to be working, at least for me). Tangie - I've reviewed this stuff before, so I won't go into too much detail, but for 110 dollars an ounce, you really can't go wrong with it. It's some of the highest quality cheap flower I've ever smoked and I always like to keep some on hand for good sativa joint weed. I'd definitely advise picking some up if you get a chance. Shishkaberry - This indica dominant hybrid comes in the form of medium-sized, moderately purple nugs that have a sharp, citrusy smell to them. The product description claims it smells like berries, but I don't really get that at all. It's not a problem though because this is some pretty bomb weed no matter how it smells. A bowl of it is enough to have me practically melting into my chair, and I generally save it for later in the evening as a result. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a solid quality indica. Cannaisseur Green Crack shatter - This shatter is somewhat stable; you'll want a tool to actually gather a dab, but then you can generally pluck it off the end and roll it between your fingers if you prefer to just drop it where it's needed. When vaped in my Saionara, I'd describe the taste as piney-sweetness with an edge of something similar to coffee. The effects are exactly what you'd expect from a pure sativa, with an instant zap to the brain and a mind-oriented high. I'd say the potency is about average. It's not the strongest stuff I've ever vaped, but definitely not the weakest either. For the 32 dollars I paid, I can't complain, though my annoyance at the packaging is enough to ensure I'll probably never buy it at the full 40 dollars. Cannaisseur White Widow shatter - This shatter is very slightly more stable than the Green Crack, but not by much. The taste is somewhat earthy and leafy, but mixed with a sweet edge. Similar to the Green Crack, but not identical, is how I'd describe it. The effects are immediate, producing an uplifted feeling in the mind and body. My final conclusion on this stuff is basically the same as my conclusion on the previous shatter. Darkside shatter - This shatter is far less stable than either of the previous two, with a very goopy consistency. This one, unsurprisingly, suffers the most from being sent on plastic, since the oil is near impossible to get off cleanly. It is visibly darker than the other two shatters, which you'd expect given the name. The taste is hard to describe, but it's sort of fruity and a tiny bit floral at the same time, but with a spicy undertone. While the product description isn't clear as to the indica:sativa ratio, it certainly smokes like a hybrid to me. I'd say it's somewhat less strong than the Cannaisseur, but not by much, and it's a great deal at 29 dollars. Considering that I got it for a little over 23, I'm definitely satisfied with the purchase. Incentive for Customers: Free shipping over 100 dollars and a free joint on each order. I should note that I didn't receive any freebie on this order, which was a bit lame, though ultimately not a big deal because I have way more weed than I know what to do with. I'm assuming it's just an oversight, since I've had nothing but good experiences with BCBD in the past. Incentive for Review: None Conclusion: While BCBD earned their first non-perfect score from me on this order, they're still one of my top MOMs. The packaging complaints with the shatter and the lack of the advertised freebie both contributed to my one point reduction. However, to be entirely fair to BCBD, I didn't reach out to them at all and I'd imagine they'd make up for it with an extra joint on my next order if I cared enough about it to ask, since I've gotten stellar service from them in the past. I definitely plan to continue buying from BCBD and I'd highly recommend trying them out if you haven't before. Photo Notes: Photo #1: Tangie. Photo #2: Shishkaberry. Photo #3: Green Crack (left), White Widow (centre), Darkside (right). EDIT: It occurred to me that I should clarify: any contamination that you see in the shatter is due to my dirty dab tool. I took these pictures well after I'd already broken into the concentrates and I don't want anyone to think they looked like that when they got here.Aug 12, 2018
BC Bud Dispatch - Golden Goat, Bruce Banner, Red Poison, and CO2 Oil (Belated review from late June)
Zampano
MOM Name: BC Bud Dispatch Overall rating out of 10: 10/10 Sign Up: Quick and easy with no ID required. Ordering & Pricing: Ordering is normal. BCBD has a wide range of products at very reasonable prices. They currently have 14 strains of cannabis in stock, with prices ranging from 110 to 250 per ounce. They also have a fairly wide range of concentrates, though they currently lack any edibles whatsoever. Communication: I didn't have to communicate with them on this order via email. It was shipped quickly and arrived in two days. There was a very kind note left in the order to explain an alteration that had to be made, which worked in my favour (more on that in a minute). Packaging: The packaging job was good as always. A padded mailer contained a vaccuum sealed bag which itself contained the products. The flowers were contained in thick plastic resealable bags with custom labels and the CO2 oil was in its manufacturer's packaging. Products / Photos: I ordered 14 grams of Golden Goat (sativa), 3.5 grams of Red Poison (indica-dominant hybrid), and 3 grams of Cannassieur CO2 oil. However, to my surprise, I received 12 grams of Golden Goat, 6 grams of Bruce Banner, and the other products as ordered. As it turns out, I got the very last of the Golden Goat, so they decided to send me 6 grams of the more expensive Bruce Banner (also a sativa) to cover the last two grams and then some. As you'd expect, I was completely satisfied with this outcome. The final cost was just over 193 dollars. This included a 20% discount from their CDNMOM20 code, which (unfortunately) appears to no longer be active. I will now briefly review each product individually. Golden Goat - This strain comes in the form of very dense, crystal-covered nugs. The smell is hard to describe; I'd say it's a little fruity, but also a little spicy at the same time. It smokes smooth and produces a nice white ash. The effects are mostly felt in the head, as you'd expect from a sativa, with a sort of pleasant floating sensation appearing in your brain right after exhaling. It's an excellent strain and I'd definitely recommend it if you happen to see it for sale again. Bruce Banner - Consisting of small and very frosty nugs, this strain has a refreshing, fruity smell. It smokes pretty similarly to the Golden Goat, except it's more potent, which you'd expect given the price difference. I wasn't expecting to receive this strain, but I'm glad I did because it rocks. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a high quality sativa. Red Poison - This is some of the craziest-looking and craziest-smelling weed I've ever encountered. Visually, the strain consists of small nugs that are so purple they appear black in the right lighting. The smell is somewhat floral, as if you've just stuck your face into a non-psychoactive flower garden, and it also reminds me heavily of artificial grape and even wine to a degree. When vaping it, the artificial grape smell carries over into the flavour, resulting in a taste very similar to the grape chewable Tylenol my parents gave me as a kid. When smoked, the taste is hard to describe. It's far more complex than most other cannabis I've experienced when smoked, and all I can say is it's very nice. The effects are strong, and about what you'd expect from an indica-dominant hybrid, with a heaviness behind the eyes that spreads throughout your body within short order. This stuff is extremely good weed and I could easily see myself buying it again. Cannaisseur CO2 Oil - I've reviewed this stuff before, but to reiterate, it's great oil. It comes packaged in a plastic sleeve, with the oil contained in an oral syringe for precise dosing. The flavour is very clean, with a sort of whiskey-like and chocolatey character to it. I generally hit it in Vape710 carts, which works well, though I don't find the high lasts very long when consumed in this way (and the flavour is much less prominent as well). That's fine with me, since I generally use the carts as a quick pick-me-up if I'm out and about or just for idly puffing when I'm not looking to get fucked up. If I drip it onto a Saionara coil or just drop it straight onto a bowl, I get a stronger and more long-lasting high along with the full flavour experience. This is a solid concentrate and I feel very comfortable recommending it. Incentive for Customers: Free shipping over 100 dollars and a free joint on each order. I didn't get a joint, but I did get four extra grams of Bruce Banner, so I'd definitely count that as my freebie. Incentive for Review: None Notes: I am way late on this review. Sorry about that. I'm trying to clear my backlog of unreviewed orders, so hopefully I can get the others up sooner rather than later. Anyway, BC Bud Dispatch is one of my favourite MOMs and they nailed this order. I was super satisfied with everything inside and I fully expect to continue buying from them in the future, even without the 20% discount code. Photo Notes: The Bruce Banner is on top, with the Golden Goat on the bottom left and the Red Poison on the bottom right. The CO2 oil isn't pictured, but just imagine an oral syringe full of dark brown goop and you've pretty much got the full experience.Aug 05, 2018
