MOM Name: Blowout420.ca Overall rating out of 10: 7/10 Sign Up: Didn't sign up, just got hooked up on Discord for samples Ordering & Pricing: Didn't formally order, was offered samples, prices on the site have a lot of very big deals vs reg prices Communication: No complaints but didn't have much interactions, was nice and courteous Packaging: No complaints, proper vac seal, each strain was individually packed in a small sealed bag, well labeled, etc. Products / Photos: https://i.imgur.com/BCJ4P5m.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OrhbiPp.jpg Strain Name: Rockstar Strain Fidelity: First time having Rockstar, so can't really comment. It has a distinctive heavy kush/peppery terp profile. Leafly describes it has spicy with grape, I definitely cannot taste or smell anything fruity. Size of buds: 7.5/10 Average size Bag Appeal: 7/10 It has very nice colors (some solid purple hues), good trichome coverage. It's very dense and very dry so a bit hard to break up. Rock hard buds. Cure & Humidity: 4/10 Very dry, cracks when broken up. There is a very very faint humididy at the core of the bigger buds, but it's definitely too dry overall. Would need some boveda/jar time to bring back. Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 Has very little nose right out of the bag, but once you break it up/grind it it smells pretty good and strong. Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 No complaints here, I've had smoother but this was very nice, big rips aren't a problem, good flush. Taste Intensity: 8/10 Taste comes through reasonnably well, nothing intense, but overpowers the smoke Taste Complexity: 6/10 Pretty unidimensional, predominantly kushy without much else to offer Buzz Intensity: 8/10 A good indica buzz, but not a hard knocker. Proper for the price/value. Price: Regular price is 180/OZ, is currently on sale at 140/OZ Value: The dryness takes away a lot of the appeal for me, I feel 140/OZ is steep for the state of these buds. 'A' Scale Rating: AA+, would be AAA- with better fresness. --- (no pic sorry, forgot to take one) Strain Name: Girl Scout Cookies (distillate vape cart) Strain Fidelity: 9/10 Taste like classic cookies Size of buds: N/A Bag Appeal: Very clear distillate, nice thick consistency Cure & Humidity: N/A Smell Intensity: N/A Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Once of the smoothest distillate I've had Taste Intensity: 8/10 I can taste the terps well, they are a bit faint and the raw distillate can be tasted through Taste Complexity: 9/10 It's got that glassic peppery background of GSC with a bit of tanginess I'm not used to in GSC Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Typical distillate, flat, short lived buzz but less couchlock than others I've had. Price: 45$ regular, 20$ on sale right now Value: 45$ seems a bit steep, wouldn't pay much more than 30-35$ for any distillate cart. Size of buds: N/A Bag Appeal: 8/10 Kinda looks like ear wax, had some black spots on it (see pic), looked like it rubbed on something Cure & Humidity: Texture is dry and sligthly tacky, but crumbles easily under pressure Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 A nice kushy/fresh smell that's not overpowering but very present Harshness vs Smoothness: 10/10 This was smooth as silk in the pico/sai. Taste Intensity: 8/10 The taste is good and strong Taste Complexity: 7/10 It's not overly complex, but it does what it does real well, a mix of classic kush and fruit, very clean taste Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Extremely smooth, can take huge rips, tasted good going up in temps from a cold start dab too. Taste Intensity: 9/10 Strong and terpy, very nice Taste Complexity: 7.5/10 It's not particularly complex (concentrares rarely are anyway) but it's a good balance between kush and fruit, very clean Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Strong and potent no complaints Price: On sale for 20$ a gram, regular price 55$ a gram. Value: Definitely a good deal at 20, not so much at 55$ considering what else the competition has. Never seen wax over 30ish. I do smell some SLH terps in this but faintly. Size of buds: 5/10 Small nugs but well formed Bag Appeal: 4/10 Colors are dull/browning a bit, looks like old weed. Cure & Humidity: 5/10 Was pretty dry but still had some spring to it, didn't release much more smell when broken up Smell Intensity: 4/10 Faint smell of generic plant matter for the most part, tiny bit of lemon coming through but ever so faint. Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10 Wasn't a bad smoke, could take pretty big rips and they'd go down smooth. There's a bit of sourness in there that gets intense on bigger draws. Taste Intensity: 5/10 Not much taste going past the smoke, but the smoke wasn't harsh. Taste Complexity: 4/10 There's a bit of sourness, a tiny bit of lemon (almost inperceptible). Buzz Intensity: 2/10 This is definitely sativa leaning but the potency is some of the most terrible I've had ever. Didn't smoke a large joint, but 30 min later buzz was completely gone. Price: 99$ OZ on sale down from 155$ OZ Value: To me this isn't even worth it as a budget OZ, prime example of terribad weed. 'A' Scale Rating: AA- at best. --- https://i.imgur.com/kqsiatQ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/z20NwyK.jpg Strain Name: Funky Skunk Strain Fidelity: Genetics unclear based on what I've found on Google, seems like perhaps a pheno of UK Cheese, either way, fits the description of 'fruity version of skunk' and it's similar to other watered down skunks I've tried Size of buds: 8/10 One big fat nug and some smaller bits made the sample Bag Appeal: 6/10 Like the Super Lemon Cookie Dough, it looks like aged weed that's began to brown Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Dry but not too dry, still had some fluff and spring to it Smell Intensity: 7/10 The dryness got the better of it, but it has a predominantly fruity aroma and reminds me of dancehall, white widow and similar smooth fruity strains Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth smoke, could take pretty good draws without inducing cough Taste Intensity: 7/10 The terps aren't coming out strong, but you can definitely feel the fruit over the smoke so not bad Taste Complexity: 7/10 There isn't much more than fruit coming through and it's pretty unidimensional. Zero skunk or funk coming through. Buzz Intensity: 8/10 No complaints, a good hybrid buzz, not intense but competent Price: On sale at 80/OZ regular price 145/OZ Value: Definitely not a bad deal at 80$. I'm not a budget weed fan but at 80$, this is definitely more than fair. At 145 there are tons of better options out there. Would prob be a much nicer flower if it was fresher. 'A' Scale Rating: AAA- --- https://i.imgur.com/88KPID8.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MnqUZzw.jpg Strain Name: Death Bubba GX smalls Strain Fidelity: 10/10 This is textbook Death Bubba Size of buds: 4/10 These are tiny buds, borderline popcorn, no shake Bag Appeal: 5/10 Hard to judge on such small buds, it's nothing impressive to look at, buds are small but well formed and rather firm, excellent trim Cure & Humidity: 6/10 You can tell it was well cured, but perhaps a bit overdried. Exterior of buds is dry, inside has some residual humidity but not much. Would prob be very decent after some boveda and jar time Smell Intensity: 9/10 It doesn't have much smell out of the bag but once ground it's a classic intense kush/pepper/gas that's characteristic of DB. Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Death Bubba and most Kush strains for that matter are rarely smooth by nature, but this was nice. Taste Intensity: 9/10 Absolutely obliterates the smoke taste, all you can taste is heavy kush and gas, very nice Taste Complexity: 8/10 This strain does one thing and it does it well, nice kushy taste with gas in the background, bit of spice/pepper, very nice Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Heavy hitter as usual for the strain, strong indica Price: Smalls are 135/OZ, Popcorn is 85$ OZ (same grow), they have regulars at 99$ but I think this one is a different grow Value: At 135$ this is a fair deal if you can live with small buds. If the 85$ one is just as potent, that one is an absolute steal. 'A' Scale Rating: AAAA- Incentive for Customers: They have good rebates vs their reg prices right now Incentive for Review: None other than free samples Notes: There was a slight mold scare associated with this MOM, they sent one strain that had PM but they emailed/contacted all clients to whom it was sent to warn them they had found out, so they handled that very well. None of the samples I got had any signs of mold or other such issues.

This is my favourite from blowout so far. Burns clean, tastes great, smells great. Buds are tiny but that doesn't bother me when the bud is good. Great stuff definitely recommend it.

This was wax not shatter. I believe they relabeled it as wax on their website after some feedback. Crazy colour on this stuff. Smells/tastes kind of like a combination of pine and citrus. Stuff isn't too bad for what they are asking for it.

Death bubba gx smalls - Blowout420 - late July

This is good stuff, not my cuppa though. If your an indica or indica leaning guy, or girl or however you identify your going to prob like this steal of a deal for 85 bucks a zip. To be honest I prefer somthing more ephoric when I smoke but at this price I may just cop another to use as pain meds and toss on some sativa Kief to get where I want to be. For looks these are tiny buds. They might actually be self conscious about it so I won't say it to loud . They pack a punch in those itty bitty nugs though. Taste was classic earthy death bubba. Def don't hate that. Smoke was a touch harsh and ash was salt and pepper, a bit more on the pepper side but I don't know if that was flush or just genetics. If you looking for a bargain zip this is def my recommendation for anyone who typically likes death bubba. And your going to need all that money you save for munchies. My fridge is going to therapy now for what I did to it last night. Holla at your boy Dogcar on the discord. I'm out!

Rockstar - blowout420 - late july

This was my favorite strain from Blowout420. Let me preface I'm not a indica guy when it comes to rec weed but definitely need it on the medical side. Look was the buds are like sexy little person, great in every way just smaller. Frosty and some nice purp for color. Smoke was tasty and thick, I was actually surprised it wasn't harsh with they way it felt so milky coming out my lungs. Ash was a nice , mostly white. Very happy to see this and it was my last of three strains to try and by far the best flush. Effects wise I was pleasantly surprised. I have back issues and this loosened me right up without locking me to a couch which is rare. And it actually had a nice ephoric undertone that I rarely see with strains I need for end of day pain. If your going to order only one thing from blowout I would recommend this. Peace love and smokiness

This is the strain from these guys I wanted to try. Let me put it in the forefront that this would be some killer shit if the flush wasn't so horrid. Big ass caked buds that look even better in real life than that pic. Love the smell and the taste. Citrus and sweet, everything neat. The buzz was good. Couch stuck like I had sticky resin glands and other than a bit of anxiety for a short time that passed quick I really enjoyed myself. Now for the bad part. Worst flush I've had. Ash black as I've seen and kept going out. Thought I'd try and in a bowl and that was a mistake. But seemed to scortch into a ball of black death rather than burn. If it was back on the menu and I was reassured the flush was better I would order again that's how good the positive qualities were. That and the other 2 strains were better. Stay tuned for more boys and girls.
