Cannabudpost Review 30g AAA August deal Day 1

I'm going to be doing a 3 day review of my Cannabudpost pack that I received yesterday. I decided on a 3 day review so that I could give each strain a pure honest review by only smoking the selected strain each day. I will be using a 1-10 rating scale in my reviews, 9/10 being reserved for quads if i ever get the opportunity to try them in the future. I'll review the mom first and then move on to the strain I will be reviewing. Mom: Cannabudpost Sign Up: Straightforward, no id required Customer Service: Quick responses to both discord dm's and email responses, took time out of their day to actually have a conversation with me about unrelated things to MoM's top notch! Order: 140$ 3 strain 10 g AAA variety pack August special, order was placed, money was received and being processed very quickly. Placed the order on Monday night, tracking updated Tuesday for a delivery date of Friday by cp, package arrived on Thursday in New Brunswick, very snappy, very impressed! Package came in a standard vac sealed bags inside of a cardboard box, very discreet, no issues with packaging. Incentive for review: None, been a lurker/shopper for about a year now popping my review cherry. On to the first review: Alien OG Bag Appeal: 8/10 buds ranging from the small-medium to the medium range, very tightly trimmed buds, dense, very well done Smell: 6.5/10 Weakest scent of the 3 strains I received, on it's own it probably would have gotten a higher rating, hint of lemon and pine in the bag. Process: 7/10 Fluffs nice in the hand grinder, burns clean and white, lemon and pine come through in the smoke when you exhale. A few things happened today while exclusively smoking this strain, I walked around for about 20 minutes looking for my coffee cup,(which was in my hand) then proceeded to make a coffee without putting a k-cup in my kuerig. It's a good around the house sort of bake, Immediate relaxation, easily distracted but not difficult to zero in and focus on something if required. Communication: Helped me alot through discord pick out the right strains for my needs. Alien OG : This strain was a very strong hybrid leaning toward the indica side. The smell on Alien OG is a very strong overwhelming pine smell with undertones of lemon throughout. When busted up the lemon smell really comes out more when busted. The appearance on Alien OG is very nice with a thick coating of keif covering the entire nug top to bottom some purple hues and a bright green dense nug. The high left me feeling very euphoric and giggly with a burst of happiness. Overall this was my favourite strain from Cannabudpost and I’ll be adding it to my next order! https://i.imgur.com/3VQxIu0.jpg Wedding Cake : Wedding Cake was a very nice balanced hybrid that left me feeling very creative and energetic. Wedding Cake smelt Sweet almost like vanilla! The smell translates well to the taste giving my joint a sweet icing like taste! Wedding Cakes appearance is a very light green incredibly caked with very few orange hairs spread around the nug. The high left me feeling relaxed and euphoric reminding me a lot of Alien OG but Wedding cakes high lasted a lot longer than Alien. https://i.imgur.com/LbAdjk8.jpg Pink : Pink is a hybrid with a very heavy leaning indica side that creeps up on you slowly and keeps you in a sedated state for a long time. Pink smells Sweet and Flowery with some Earthy undertones that come out when busted up. The appearance on Pink is a nice bright green keif coated fat nugs with some orange hairs spread around lightly. The high on pink is very strong indica high one of the best ive had in awhile! Rockstar Popcorn - CannabudPost - August 2019

Stated on website as popcorn rockstar nugs that came from their AAA+ batch. Imho this is a steal for $90. I could tell it was rockstar as soon as I opened the mylar bag. Distinct classic rockstar. Burns relatively white, not the craziest white, but hits hard, just like most of the rockstar I smoked that has the kush kick. Didn't take the best picture but I get credit for making reviews, and honestly I kinda didn't want to post this because budget strains are low in stock now and I would rather have it not sold out when my next pay cheque comes -.-

Cannabudpost.ca 3 strain samples review

MOM Name: Cannabudpost.ca Overall rating out of 10: 7/10 Sign Up: N/A samples were offered over Discord Ordering & Pricing: N/A didn't chose what was sent, strains received were flowers that sell between 150 and 200$ an OZ. Communication: Very courteous and quick Packaging: Got it a while back, can't say I remember specifically but it was properly vac-sealed and each strain was in a small mylar. I think it was in a box. Products / Photos: --- https://i.imgur.com/Y364bAW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Yy8Kmg9.jpg Strain Name: Mandarin Haze Strain Fidelity: I never had Mandarin Haze, lineage is unclear, can't find much info. Definitely has that characteristic 'haze' taste when smoking it. Size of buds: 8/10 Got a single bud as a sample, didn't weight it but looked a little over a gram. Bag Appeal: 7/10 Pretty average, the nug is very dense and tight, trimmed extremely close, it's like a nugget. Cure & Humidity: 6/10 It came in very dry, breaking it up revealed it was just as dry down to it's core. I've had worse, but it's definitely past the optimal level Smell Intensity: 6/10 It's very tame but has a very nice fruity nose. Because of how dry it is, breaking it up didn't release much more smell, but it's a nice pleasant fruity smell. Feels sweeter than other citrus strains and less sharp as well, reminds me of apricot or peach more than mandarin. Harshness vs Smoothness: 5/10 I haven't had that many Haze strains and I always found Hazes to be a bit sharp and harsh, it's not a harshness that makes you cough, but rather asphyxiates (a bit). Not exactly a pleasant smoke, not smooth. Taste Intensity: 6.5/10 The sweetness and fruitiness doesn't translate much to the smoke, but it does feel more citrucy smoking it. Taste Complexity: 6/10 It's mostly a mix of citrus and the typical floral haze. Buzz Intensity: 4/10 This is a heavily sativa leaning hybrid, smoked a pretty large joint and didn't get much buzz, it was very light and short lived. Price: Sells for 200$/OZ Value: There is literally nothing amazing about this strain for me, it's weak potency kills any possible redemption. Would not buy this. 'A' Scale Rating: AA --- https://i.imgur.com/NugNwkq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/nsc0UUs.jpg Strain Name: Alien OG Strain Fidelity: Never had Alien or Tahoe OG, let alone this cross of the two so no idea :D Size of buds: 8/10 Sample was one big nug, didn't weight it but a little over a gram eyeballing it Bag Appeal: 7/10 Similar to the Mandarin, tight, very close trim, dense, pretty generic looking Cure & Humidity: 6/10 Not quite as dry as the Mandarin, but pretty damn close. Breaking it up released a bit more aroma but not much. Smell Intensity: 5/10 Again the dryness robbed most of the smell. It smells nice, I have a hard time pin pointing the actual smell/taste. Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth and sharp at the same time, no complaints Taste Intensity: 7/10 Good taste, the smoke is tame so it lets the terps through very well, got tastier the closer I got to the filter. Taste Complexity: 8.5/10 This was a pretty good smoke. Leafly described it as a mix of pine and lemon, can't say I got much pine there but there's definitely some lemon and perhaps a bit of sourness. It's a pretty subtle taste, but it's very enjoyable. Buzz Intensity: 6.5/10 Definitely not a hard hitter, also didn't last very long, but at least adequate. Definitely not something I'd pick for a chronic smoker. Price: Listed at 150/OZ Value: Seems about right for the price 'A' Scale Rating: AAA+ --- https://i.imgur.com/VnGUydT.jpg https://i.imgur.com/kn6mdrP.jpg Strain Name: Pink (assuming it's Pink Kush?) Strain Fidelity: Definitely very kushy. I'm not a fan of Pink Kush usually, there's a heavy background that's chemical/perfumy and it really rubs me wrong. I didn't get this with this one, it was kushy and gassy. Size of buds: 8/10 Again one big nug, little over a gram eyeballing it Bag Appeal: 7/10 Not particularly good looking, trim was decent, less dense than the others, not much colors Cure & Humidity: 7.5/10 This had some humidity inside and some stickiness. Definitely much better than the other 2. The cure itself is solid, perhaps just a tiny bit too dry. Smell Intensity: 8.5/10 Pungent kushy gas, when I broke the nug and ground it, it stank up the room, nice. Harshness vs Smoothness: 8.5/10 Kush is notoriously a bit harsh usually because of how intense it can be but this was surprisingly smooth and nice. Taste Intensity: 9.5/10 No smoke taste at all it's all terps, very tasty Taste Complexity: 8/10 Not much else than kush coming through with a tinge of sharpness perhaps a tiny bit of citrus Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Heavy indica buzz Price: Listed at 200$/OZ Value: Properly priced IMHO 'A' Scale Rating: AAA+ Incentive for Customers: N/A didn't really look at their site Incentive for Review: These small samples were offered for free to review

Bud smelled straight pungent gassss. Gassy and earthy taste burning with light grey ash. Wasnt harsh. Pretty potent with a nice uplifted buzz while feeling relaxed at the same time. Eventually creeping into me wanting to sink in the couch. Very happy with this one.

Bud had a nice fruity smell. Buzz was somewhat clear headed and uplifting. Not strongest hitting weed but still was enjoyable effects. I didnt enjoy the taste much, very grassy. Wasnt harsh and burned grey.

Nuken - Cannabudpost - August

Has a fruity nose to it. Bud had some noticable leaves but nothing crazy. Burned light grey for the most part with some black. Wasnt too harsh but kinda itched your throat a tiny bit but it wasnt an issue. Taste wasnt as nice as the smell although you still got that hint of fruit. Had more of a earthy taste. Mellow buzz with euphoria. Deffinitely would be able to function with this as it didnt force me to the couch. Buzz lasted a decent amount of time with no burn out. Was on sale for 95$ which I find a steal. On its regular price 140$ I feel the price would still be fairly decent.
