GSC from CannabisCanadaShop - October

A solid 2.4g nug that was hard and lacking distinctive terps. Tightly vacuum sealed along with two other samples, jar time with a boveda did not improve much and the density made pulling it apart feel strange revealing some discolouration. Not much smell that I would expect or flavour but the sativa leaning hybrid effects were noticeably strong. I expected a better smoke as one of their higher end strains at the time.

Gelato from CannabisCanadaShop - October

Dry with small and hard buds. Shared an off putting background smell with the other samples and did not regain distinctive terps after jarring with bovedas for a few days. Mostly harsh and unpleasant smoke with white ash, the effects were mellow though after 30 minutes I noted feeling relaxed without couch lock which I would consider to be its high point.

Real nice, sativa leaning. Started as a nice head high and getting a light body-buzz 15 min in after one load in the mighty, feel happy and relaxed also. The bud is loose and fluffy, but breaks up big. I was not a fan of the raw smell and was expecting to be disappointed, but it tasted good in the vape and I'm really pleasantly stoned now. First time trying Red Congo, I like it a lot.

New MoM contacted me on Discord to sample some of their strains. First impressions were low, all three mostly dry and lacking terps. Buds were vacuum sealed tightly and their individual ziplock bags were not fully closed so three strains shared the same air pocket and a kind of strange background smell. Rockstar was hard and dense with darkened hairs but not enough to assume mold until I went to grind the top part of the largest nug. It was slightly too big for a grinder so I pulled the extra hard chunk in half and found white stuff. CCS were made aware 2 days ago but are still selling the product, it's currently marked as on sale.

MOM Name Cannabis Canada Shop Overall rating out of 10: 9 Sign Up: Didn't have to since I was kindly given free samples. When I browse the site though it's very user friendly and looks really simple to sign up. Ordering & Pricing: Again, didn't have to go through this process but odering is really easy. They sell their product at 3.5, 7, 14 and 28 with price breaks at each level. They got around 20 strains to choose from and the price ranges from 135-165/oz. This is quite competitive vs other moms. Obviously for my samples I went wtih higher end strains. Communication: On their website they have a contact us tab where they have a phone number and an email. I communicated through discord with the representative. They were very professional and once I selected my strains they sent me a message with the tracking number less than 24 hours later. They even threw an extra sample in there cause I could not choose between two. Packaging: The 5 samples were in small ziplock bags which were all packaged into a vacuum sealed bag. As well as free samples probably. Also they are running out of Ontario, so customers from the East may get their package within 24 hours of ordering. Incentive for Review: When someone does something nice for you, it's only right to return the favor. Notes: I have to say, its not the best weed I have experienced but the great white shark and fruity pebbles are really bang for it's buck. I would definitely buy those two again at those price points. Also I usually complain about moms not having bulk deals, but their prices are so low, it doesn't really matter.

I've had so many different batches of GSC this year! One of my go to strains to always have on hand so i picked up this sample too. It has a very lemon/citrus/fruity nose and taste and burns a white to light grey ash. Smaller quarter sized buds but it's only a 2 gram sample afterall. Not dry either.

Nice looking round buds that have a sweet and skunky/diesel aroma that stings the nostirls. Had this one from budmail back in the day and its just as i remember. Potent thick smoke with a sweet and diesel tasting smoke. Burns light grey ash. Fell asleep earlier than usual after a couple hours of being couch locked. Heavy and effective indica especially for someone like me who doesn't have too many 'knock out indicas'.

Fruity Pebbles OG - CannabisCanadaShop - October 17

This one was very dense and heavy. Nice colors to the bud ,light purples and greens. Doesn't smell super fruity off the bat but more of a citrus smell. As soon as you grind it up the fruity/berry notes come out. Still, not super powerful but it's a pleasant smell nonetheless. The taste is also a subtle mix of berry and citrus and very smooth on the throat and burns a white ash. The high is definitely indica dominant in the relaxation sense but not overwhelming with little couch lock. I don't agree with the descriptions on leafly and all bud saying it's relaxing yet energetic. Kind of contradicting lol.

New Ontario based MoM that i tried 4 samples from. Went with the gelato first since i loved kootenays. The bag appeal is quite nice and there are purple hues through out the buds and some are almost all purple. Would love to see how the bigger buds look. Has a earthy and sweet nose and taste with hints of lemon. Very smooth with white ash. Not dry either. The high is very much a balanced hybrid for me. Relaxing and euphoric but without the sleepy or burnout feeling afterwards. Ideal for afternoon and early evenings and i tend to buy many hybrids for this reason. Strains are individually labelled in standard ziploc baggies and then vacuum sealed and placed in a box. No squised buds. So far a good representation of an Ontario based MoM. I look forward to trying the other 3 strains. (gsc, fruity pebbles og, and grease monkey)

A package was sent out, lightning fast, had it in my hands. Received four samples, and I also purchased a Packet of Phyto Incredible Hulk shatter. Everything came in a taped box, with contents vacuum sealed inside, there was no telling the contents of the box without cutting in. Onto the good stuff the weed.. not really reviewing the shatter... just bought it for the packaging, First up is the Death Bubba.. not disappointed at all, im a fan of Death Bubba, and this is top notch stuff. Next up was Girl Scout Cookies... love this strain too, this is my pick of the samples, really enjoyed this and wish there was more to try. The Fruity Pebbles didn't smell so fruity, but did have a nice fruity taste, and a good high. And finally the Krazy Glue.. Puffing on this as I write, smells decent , and also has a sort of fruit like taste... the buzz? its ok , not the strongest ive ever smoked. All in all im wanting more of the Death Bubba and Girl Scout Cookies, and am one happy customer for finally getting my hands on the Hulk Phyto shatter... way to go guys, looking forward to future purchases.
