Mendo Cream AAAA - Carly's Garden - August 2023

It's a bit too old compared to the rest of their stock. It still got plenty of trichomes however the buds already started losing color. Smell earthy but it may have lost a bit of creaminess in the taste making it a bit hard to smoke too. For the high and price, it's better to get it if they have a drop or something. Don't buy at full price.

Biscotti - Carlys Garden - July 2023

Value 8.5 Quality 9 I enjoyed this recent drop of Biscotti from Carlys. Nugs were nicely sized, no shake, nice caked out trichomes around dark contrasting colours. Its nose and flavour was gassy yet creamy and buttery, which is something I really like and hunt for. The smoke quality was good, burning mostly light grey ash and smooth inhales throughout. The potency was average to above average. This one would score about a 9 for more.

Cookies N Chem AA+ - Carlys Garden - July 2023

Price is $2.85/gram. For the price this is super good. I didn't notice it until I open my stuff today. Super caked just like how I like my nugs. It can be a bit rough to smoke but it wasn't that bad and the high feel strong and last for a long time. This is a very sweet strain as well.

Rainbow Chip - Carlys Garden - July 2023

Price is $6.4/gram. Nugs look good with purple embedded inside it does look quite beautiful like this. It has bit of mint smell but it's mostly just like citrus. The best thing about this batch so far is the level of heave trichomes that's like my car after a snowstorm. It's just straight up mind blazing with energy for me.

Carly's Pink - Carly's Garden - July

Snagged this new batch of Carly's Pink at $72/14g, which IMO is priced very well. The nugs I got were fresh, well trimed, and most nugs were quite beautiful. There were a few smaller ones that were a bit poofy, but overall, it was decent. This is what you want to see in a good pink kush, without having to pay top dollar for random named "Pink XYZ". Flavours of kush, sweet vanilla gas, light ash smooth burn, and good potency. That's all I'm hoping for and I got it. If it looked a bit more exotic and flashy, this could probably be priced even more, but hey I'm not complaining here! 9/10

Carly's Pink - Carly's Garden - July

I tried Carly's Pink a few months back in a 2oz mixer and it was pretty good. This one that I got seems to be a newer batch and it's definite one up from the last one. This round of Carly's Pink is a great resemblance of what a good Pink should be. I would say its its a bit more on the gassy side, then the floral vanilla sweetness coming out next. Fresh, clean smoke, with nice heavy power. Quality 9/10 Value 9.5/10

Purple Punch - Carly's Garden - Early July

This was Purple Punch was $81 a half during the Canada Day sale. The batch was quite an eye-pleaser. It was well trimmed, fully caked, not dry not moist, good stickiness to it still. Burn was a bit light grey, with darker grey peppering around, it still did provide a smooth, flavourful smoke. The best part really was the flavour, this is one of my favourite strains and the nice tropical/grape pastry nose did come out. Lovely treat!

Biscotti (AAAA) - Carly's Garden - June 2023

I usually get this strain from somewhere else but this one is also reasonably good. It's very addicting to smoke especially with the nutty and slightly sweet taste like cookie dough. The texture is firm, dense and fresh when you touch it. The high was mind stimulating it's like you got a head massage while you laughing like crazy.

Purple Punch - Carly's Garden - Jul

Got this during the Canada Day sale, and I'm quite happy with it actually. The nugs itself were quite beautiful to look at. They were nicely trimmed, fully caked, and offered a pleasing colour to look at. The smoke was good, ash was on the lighter side of white/grey with a bit of peppering, it was smooth too. Potency is about 7.5-8.0. The best part and the highlight for me was probably the terp profile. It was a nice sweet, berry, creamy grapey kool-aidy smoke, which was an awesome treat. 9/10

Purple GSC - Carly's Garden - June 2023

This one look exotic and I'm glad I bought it. If I have to sum it up it looks like autumn to me with those brightly burn red hair all over the purple base. GSC is usually more sativa but this one is more indica for me. This cross or however they make their GCS look this purple and red traded the usual happy uplifting high to a more relaxed state of mind like indica.
