"Darth Vader OG" - Chronic Post, August 2019

'Darth Vader OG': one large-sized bud that was leafy, very dense, and carries a berry/earthy smell out the bag. Flower is extremely frosty with crystals, heavy on the purple tones, and visually is appealing to look at after a quick trim. Smoked fairly well in a joint, a tad harsh (only in the slightest), grey/peppery ashes. This was a true 'Purple' strain - heavy indica that provided the heavy shoulders/eyelids experience. I enjoyed this strain right before bed for a very relaxed state, making this the perfect evening smoke. tldr: 'Purple', 'munchies', 'goodnight' are 3 words I'd use to describe this strain. "Island Boy's Love Potion #1" - Chronic Post, August 2019

'Island Boy's Love Potion Number 1' (G13 x Colombian Gold): One large-sized bud that is fluffy, somewhat leafy, and carries an interesting citrus/lemon aroma that is fairly unique (somewhat comparable to 'Chocolate Japan'). Flower has good amount of crystals and is stunning to look at. Smoked well in a joint with grey ashes with the same smell translating into a light, smooth taste. This was a clean, quality smoke with a potent cerebral 'energetic' effect that made me feel active/productive, without any sense of fatigue or couchlock. tldr: potent sativa that provides an uplifting, active experience. "Greasy Pink Kush" - Chronic Post, August 2019

'Greasy Pink Kush': yet another large-sized bud that was somewhat leafy, very dense appearing, and carried a gassy kush smell out the bag. IMHO this was visually the most stunning strain - coated in crystals with plenty of orange and red hairs, and lots of purple/violet undertones throughout. Smoked killer in a joint, as well, clean white ashes that resulted in an indica-heavy experience (duh). Very potent, heavy on the eyelids/shoulders experience, an ideal strain for pain relief or an evening smoke. tldr: my favourite of the picks! Flush and ash color : great flush, salt and peppee ash, burn perfectly AAAA- Cure & humidity: smell isnt the strongest and it could be more humid, definitly not bone dry neither id say AAA Smell: smell very good, not very strong tho. AAA Harshness vs Smoothness: pretty smooth, not the smoothes ever but still smooth AAA+ Taste Intensity: AAA+ Buzz Intensity: AAAA- potent stuff someone called me in the middle of the review and i had cotton mouth like crazy and had trouble formulating sentences. 9.5/10 Price: 130 half o on the site, cant buy more and i dont remember the full oz cost. Size of buds: sample so hard to say Bag Appeal: AAA+ dense bud thats pretty caked. Flush and ash color : Ash isnt hard but its gray/black and a bit more harsh so could be better. Burn ok. Cure & humidity: AAA not very sticky and not perfect humidity but not dry neither. Smell: smell nice out the bag, a solid AAA. Harshness vs Smoothness: could be smoother a bit but its still enjoyable to smoke and dont make me cough, just a bigger throat hit. Taste Intensity: good taste and pretty strong. AAA/AAA+ Buzz Intensity: AAA/AAA+ Price: sample but its listed at 150$ oz Value: AAA at 150 oz. You decide if its worth the money. 'A' Scale Rating: solid trip

All in all its what you would expect sub 200 oz of hash to be like. Beat some mercedes i had from other moms for sure. Well worth the 6.25$ a g (175oz - cant buy smaller quantity) they are asking. Its easy to work with, soft enough that its malleable but its still on the harder side if that make sense. If your looking for cheap stuff that still have pretty good potency thats the one for you. If your looking terpy hash your not looking at the right price range imho. Well priced.

Love Potion #1 - Chronic Post - July 2019

ChronicPost(dot)ca reached out to me earlier this week and offered to send me a sample pack. Right off the bat, I found that really cool of them. I've had Love Potion#1 before, and ChronicPost's hits all the checkmarks. It smells great, with a very fresh lime and pine scent. The smell translates well into the flavour in the smoke. You can tell it's a sativa right away, as it starts creeping up the back of your head and with that classic 'headband' feeling around your temples. The nugs I got were nice and dense, so even though they weren't that big I was able to roll a fat joint. The nugs may look a bit squished, but that happened during the shipping. It burned a nice light grey/white, very smooth on your throat and lungs. The potency is really good, strong Sativa high, no body heaviness or couchlock feeling. They have it listed as AAA on their site, and I think that's a very fair rating. Shoutout to ChronicPost(dot)ca, they were super chill in the chat, and they put out the package as soon as they got an address from me. They sent me 5 diff strains which total in around ~8g and a bit of hash. I will continue to review them as I try them. They also sent me a plastic grinder, a pack of RAW rollies, a pack of Elements tips, a Clipper jet lighter (I didnt even know those existed, I love it), a doob tube with a cone in it and a Boveda pack. All in all, fantastic first impressions.
