Dosidos HCFSE- Coast Terra ( Arcana Extractions)- Sept 2020

I’ve had the pleasure of trying Dosidos multiple times in flower form prior, so the anticipation to try diamonds of the strain had me excited. The visuals did not let me down with pale yellow backgrounds, defined crystallized edges, with a thin watery film binding the micro-diamonds together. The smells coming out of the jar were distinct but complex with kush, pine and spices plus a subtle sweetness that tied the aromas together. The product was simple to collect thanks to the thin watery sauce coating the product.  In a rig the vapour was very forgiving on the lungs which made it easier to take decent sized dabs. The taste carried over well with kush and undertones of sweetness. To boot, there wasn’t any leftover residue in the banger. Found the effects to initially hit me between the eyes with a euphoric and hazey cerebral buzz. However, 30 minutes in found myself with heavy eyes, plus a warm fuzzy and relaxing vibe that made it difficult to do anything but sit back and slow down. Long lasting effects with some mild sedation at the tail end which would likely send me to sleep after a few more tokes. Evening or lazy afternoon option for me.

Very smooth and silky but also packed with tiny, granular, micro diamonds. One wiff of this stuff and you can instantly detect that it's Bubba Kush as it captures and embodies the essence of the strain. Super pungent and loud, with sharp notes of gas and kushy-pine that translate over perfectly to taste. A tiny amount on the dab tool goes a long way as she produces some thick vapour. Smooth but definitely punches you in the lungs and lets you know it's a heavy hitter. Potent indica dominant effects that don't hesitate at all to kick in, instantly feeling loose, relaxed, and completely at ease. Heavy eyes and laziness eventually kick in, making it a decent couch locker. Can't ever go wrong with such a classic like Bubba Kush and this was some very enjoyable FSE that brought out the best of it. The strain : Zkittlez which combines two memorable, old-school classics, Grape Ape and Grapefruit. A very moist texture with a mix of larger and smaller diamonds that cling to each other in a caviar like fashion. Even a small amount will produce quite a satisfying dab. The aromas emerging from the jar upon opening are of the sweet, fruity variety. It translated over to the taste when dabbed at around a temp of 500, offering flavourful, smooth rips that had a fruity/tropical profile. Very pleasant all together, making you look forward to the next dab. I felt the effects to be very evenly balanced despite being an indica dom. Focused and cerebral at first, making it a great high for being creative or enjoying music. Eventually makes way for more relaxed, euphoric effects but never feels heavy or sedative, perfect for a daytime dab session. A few pulls and I'm good to go for at least an hour as it's potent and quickly gets the job done. This one had a much lighter colour than the Zkittlez HCFSE but a similar texture and consistency with plenty of differently sized diamond chunks. Looks like a caviar when you gather some up on the dab tool as it's sticky and gooey. The smell and taste of this HCFSE is exactly the profile I'm familiar with when it comes to God's Green Crack. Sweet and aromatic, followed by notes and flavours of rich, musky pine. Extremely smooth on the lungs and dabs very clean with a good amount of terps. I've always found this strain to be such a balanced hybrid that equally borrows from both sativa and indica properties. Starts with a very stoney, 'in your head' high, combined with a mellow body buzz and calming, relaxing effects that last a decent amount of time. Another really enjoyable concentrate from Arcana Extractions. This is a sampler review.

Last of the bunch, God's Green Crack HCFSE by Arcana Extractions. A strain I've had countless times in flower form but not often in concentrate. This one had a much lighter colour than the Zkittlez HCFSE but a similar texture and consistency with plenty of differently sized diamond chunks. Looks like a caviar when you gather some up on the dab tool as it's sticky and gooey. The smell and taste of this HCFSE is exactly the profile I'm familiar with when it comes to God's Green Crack. Sweet and aromatic, followed by notes and flavours of rich, musky pine. Extremely smooth on the lungs and dabs very clean with a good amount of terps. I've always found this strain to be such a balanced hybrid that equally borrows from both sativa and indica properties. Starts with a very stoney, 'in your head' high, combined with a mellow body buzz and calming, relaxing effects that last a decent amount of time. Another really enjoyable concentrate from Arcana Extractions.

This golden/honey coloured HTFSE by Arcana Extractions tastes exactly like dabbing a terpy Pink Bubba concentrate. I've been thoroughly enjoying it the last couple of days with zero clogging issues and nothing but milky, tasty rips. It's actually hard to put away as I'm a huge Pink strain guy and this one delivers on that profile with a smooth, kushy, gassy exhale, followed by hints of pine from the Bubba. Exactly what you would expect from a Pink Bubba high with indica dominant effects. Super relaxing and euphoric, with a powerful mind and body high as well. Packaging; Mailer bag holding a box, that had inside a mylar strain bag. Looks; Nice orange hairs, medium density decent trichome coverage. mostly just green in color. Even though it came in a box it was slightly squished very nice trim no excess leaves to be found. Scent; Hard to describe the scent as it was very complex. I found hints of sweetness along side diesel but also earthy with bits of savory spice. More savory on the inside, in the grinder it smells nicely like dank kush. Smoke; In the joint it tasted very dominant of blueberries with a nice creamy undertone. Reminds us of berries and cream. leaves a heavy blueberry after taste in your mouth. Effects; Gave me an appetite that made me take a break between hoots for a handful of chocolate. Took away muscle pain from a long week. Very pleasant indica not very heavy makes it so you can still function. ​ Q= 8/10 V= 7/10

Thick and saucy, resembling a type of custard or mango puree with it's vibrant yellow/orange colour. One of my favourite concentrates to handle as it doesn't run or make a mess at all, just glues itself onto your dab tool. Instantly recognized the familiar and pungent Mk Ultra profile upon opening the lid. Very earthy and piney, mixed with hints of lemon pledge. Identical tasting when dabbed too, with a classic combo of pine, earth, and citrus and a touch of fuel on exhale. Hard hitting, delivering a swift punch to the lungs but not in a harsh way. Dabbed cleanly as well. It only took minutes to feel the heavy handed, euphoric and sedative effects of this indica. Found myself helplessly slouching and melting into my chair after a couple of dabs. Heavy eyes and yawn after yawn, all while offering a very strong cerebral high as this strain is known to do. Definitely an effective couch locker that could lead to an unexpected sleep with little effort. Also loving the look of the new XL Extracts logo. Really pops! The consistency is very caviar like with an even ratio of sauce to diamonds that are easy to work with. A tiny bit produced an unexpected amount of vapour resulting in cloud after cloud. The aromas I noticed right upon opening the jar were of the sweet, tropical variety. Literally smells good enough to eat. Very pleasant tasting as well, with those same fruity/tropical notes, followed by a subtle floral flavour on exhale. Not harsh in the slightest even after a large dab minus a slight throat raspyness. A sativa leaning hybrid with a huge emphasis on the sativa side. Instantly changed my mood from feeling tired and lazy to super uplifted and alert. Very clear headed and dialed in type of effects that encourage activity and creativity without any sedation whatsoever. Sharp new logo as well, very classy. Especially with the room filling smoke it produced. Found the flavour to come through nicely as well in both bong and joint, in the form of a super clean, smooth smoke that was enjoyable from start to finish. Burned with a light salt and peppered ash and oil ring using ultra thin element papers. The high is no slouch either, being very potent and long lasting, delivering on all levels. Very cerebral and in your head, beginning with a buzz behind the eyes and temples. Slowly starts to fade into a relaxing body high that keeps you in complete bliss, yet still engaged. Great for watching tv and gaming I found. Hands down the best rendition of this strain I've had which can sometimes be a little forgettable. Amnesia x Biker Kush are the parents, hence the name 'Where's My Bike'. Bright green buds that appear fluffy from the outside but are actually rather firm and extremely sticky to the touch, leaving my fingertips useless until washed. Covered in a coating of visible trichome heads, with vibrant orange hairs. A decent trim overall other than a few protective sugar leaf, which definitely served their purpose. Grinds up to a great consistency and isn't the type of sticky-gooey bud that breaks up to a tiny amount. Perfect cure as well. The profile of this strain is familiar upon first impression as the Amnesia was instantly picked up on. Aromas of sweet citrus, followed by notes of berries and a flowery subtleness on the back-end. I can also catch a hint of something vanilla-like in there too, giving it a distinct creaminess. Translated very accurately when smoked, carrying over the citrus and berry flavours, with a slight peppery finish on the exhale. Burned very slow, producing a smooth smoke and a light coloured ash. A very sativa driven high and a powerfully potent one at that. Even more so as a wake and bake choice. It's all in the head, hitting quickly behind the eyes with a fuzzy, hazy feeling. The term I've used in the past to describe a high such as this would be a 'dumb high'. Meaning exactly that. Just absolutely zoned out in a 'duh' type of way. Not your average functional type of sativa at all, and more of a chill, laugh about anything type of high that is silly and fun altogether, especially with company. Long lasting as well and has the potential to leave one quite spent afterwards. These samples were provided for honest and unbiased reviews

Hand manicured, with very little signs of handling as well. The sugar leaf left behind hug the buds with their resinous texture, and help keep all those juicy trichomes untouched and intact. All accompanied by a plethora of thin orange hairs that really stand out in contrast. Well cured too, as the buds contain just the right amount of stickiness that make rolling an easier than usual task. The aroma and taste followed suit, offering notes of rich, peppery herbs, and creamy, fresh pine. Very pleasant and aromatic, like an incense or hash. Especially with the smoke it produced. Found the flavour to come through nicely as well in both bong and joint, in the form of a super clean, smooth smoke that was enjoyable from start to finish.
