Red Congo - HGA - Early Sept

After seeing way too many postive reviews and tempting photos, I finally made my first order with HGA for some of this crazy Red Congo. I got a 1/2oz of it and with using a ref code got it for $140 shipped. The most I’ve paid for a 1/2oz in a looong time, but it is absolutely AAAA in my books. I don’t even care that it was mostly small/mediums, some of the best flower I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting from a mom. The smell on it is heavenly and vapes/smokes like a dream. I find it having such an uplifting, long lasting, clean high with no draggy effect at all. This would be my desert island flower for sure. Just wish it was cheaper as I can’t afford for this to be my daily. Dealing with HGA was great, I asked for them to split an oz and they did for me – nothing else was exceptional, but all done in a professional and courteous manner. Q=10 V=7

Earth Bind Cookie AAAA - High Grade Aid - September

I wanted to try this out after having a great time smoking the Death Mint Cookies from HGA. It is very similar to DMC with its couch lock and indica effects. I enjoyed this one more for its munchies inducing high since I don’t eat much to begin with. I don’t even feel full after eating 2-3x more than usual. There were a range of small - large nugs found in the bag. The majority of which are small-medium sized (left on the picture). Smells great, can’t tell if it’s a hybrid since it wasn’t as skunky as I thought it’d be. Smoked like a champ and wasn’t quite as harsh as most of the other purchases I’ve made. Shipping was super quick (BC / AB) 2-3 days with Canada post. Would highly recommend HGA for quality bud at fair prices.

Value - 9 / 10 Grabbed Oz at $196 with $25 off and free shipping. Solid price for AAAA Quality 9/ 10 Good mid to large bugs that came in packaging. Great musky smell. Smoothness 9 / 10 I only vap and thia strain produces some smooth tasting hits. I use the Mighyy vap and the mirco dosage capsules produces nice puffy clouds. I say I can get a good 8 smooth hits. Taste 8.5 / 10 Over all taste great, but wish the chocolate taste was a little stronger Over all I am happy with the purchase. Been hearing good things about the strain and it did not disappoint. Enjoyed smoking this, reminds me of DCM but slightly dryer and a lot hairier, still caked dense nugs. The taste is a little muted on this but definitely has more of an earthy taste. Definitely a strong indica high more so DCM high than the death mint.. got this on special with another AAAA Oz came out to 150 each Quality 8.5/10 Value 10/10

Citrus sap - high grade aid - sept 8th

Good morning I’m a big fan of citrus/lemon flavours and this one was pretty solid. Great smell you could really get the hint of citrus and pine and could taste it pretty decently out of a joint as well. Good citrus flavour from a vape too. Potent for a sativa hybrid 70/30 and I got it for 170 with a 25 coupon with free shipping. Pretty solid. Value 9/10 quality 9/10

Death Mint Star - High Grade Aid - Sept 3rd

First picture under a light, second camera flash. So this was actually an order of Death Mint Smalls. This was one of the larger nugs in the bag so it's tough to judge much about the bud structure other than it was coated in trichs. Upon opening the bag your hit with the classic Death mint cookies smell immediately... it's complex for me.. This seems a little lighter.. reminiscent of the Death mint ultra. It's still a heavy almost musky smell.. but in the back you can smell the eucalyptus... that mint shining through and and powering to the front if you really smell for it, but it's tough to find with the kushy, musky, earthy tones mixed in as well.. maybe earth isn't best word.. I dunno it has a lot going on and it translates well into the taste. Anyone who liked DMC, DCM, or DMU will love this one. Was graded AAA+ I think? Definitely should've been a AAAA, it has the potency/taste.. bud appeal isn't really a big deciding factor on if I purchase. At 119 an oz the value was through the roof. The smoke was nice and smooth on inhale, good pull on the lungs on the exhale and flavor was the same as the nose... I will say that I believe this was the least heavy hitting of the 4 death mint strains I've tried but that being said I believe it's under graded as well Q: 8.5 (losing lots of points for bud appeal here.. otherwise probably give it a 9/10) V: 9.7/10 - Could've been free I guess? Or they could've included a sample for once! :P

Shipping with Purolator was fast as always, 24hr BC to ON. sunset sherbert: smells like a fruit bowl with a bit of floral sweetness mixed in. Taste translates very well To dab, tasting like a sweet fruit punch. Leaves no residue in the banger. Effects are immediate; aches and pains fade, body relaxes and stress is gone. Alien cookies was a nice little sample. Smelled of citrus, dabbed clean with no residue. Tasted of lemon and earth, great heady high that lasted a good while.

What an absolute friggin treat this stuff is. I couldn’t resist the hype around this, and I’m so glad i pulled the trigger on it finally because this truly might be the greatest sativa i ever had. The kind of stuff i would want in my stashbox forever. Even though i typically don’t mess with pure sativas, this red congo is that rare exception for sure. Dangerously smooth on the inhale which really makes this quite the addicting smoke, i find myself rolling joint after joint of this stuff, not because it is weak, but because there is really no ceiling and the inhale and taste are just a total pleasure on the lungs. As others have mentioned there is almost root beer flavour, and the high is the most perfectly clear headed, get-shit-done (or otherwise just chill out with a huge grin on your face) type high. Will be buying this every time i run out, that’s for sure!!
