MOM Name: Low Price Bud Overall rating out of 10: I’ve been ordering from LPB for almost a year, and I have never received anything that less than exactly as advertised or beyond. Prices have been fair, and service amazing. They always have promo codes floating around which is a bonus in comparison to other MoMs that I order from. 10/10 for me Sign Up: Sign up was fast and I did not have to provide any id or anything. I assume that this process hasn’t changed. Ordering & Pricing: The menu is massive and the prices has always reflected the landscape. I have never seen LPB more expensive than other places offering the same kind of strains/quality. I keep coming back to LPB because I know that I’m getting what I pay for Communication: Whether in their discord or through emails, I have always received responses and help. Packaging: Packaging is unique to LPB and branded, and the GasLeaks stuff has their own branding as well. I’ve ordered now from close to twenty MoMs now and theirs is my favourite. A combination of two strains I love: Mendo Breath and Purple Punch. From what I could research online, it matches up Size of buds: 7: I received mostly smalls and one or two medium-ish buds. While I’d like bigger buds, I’ve seen this on the site for a while so I know they’re getting near the bottom. Bag Appeal: 10: Absolutely hands down some of the most gorgeous bud that I’ve picked up this year from any MoM. The buds are vibrant Purple, Res, Orange and green. Sticky and absolutely covered in trichomes. Cure & Humidity: 8: The buds came in near perfect humidity! The integra pack included was small, but I transferred the PDB to a sealed glass jar with a new bovida to bring it to 62% humidity. The buds weren’t dry though. The cure is proper and clean. Smell Intensity: 6.5: The smell is very subtle but it is there. It smells to me like Purple Space Cookies but with that breath nose at the end. I like the smell but it is muted. Harshness vs Smoothness: 10: This is one of the smoothest smokes I’ve ever had. I used a Silver Surfer and Sticky Brick vaporizer and had absolutely no burning of the sinuses or harshness on the throat. Taste Intensity: 8: The taste is more apparent than the intensity of the smell, and it’s very nice. While I wish the terps were a little more loud, it is definitely not lacking. I feel that an 8/10 is fair assessment Taste Complexity: 8.5: If you’ve had breath strains and purple punch/candy/space cookies strain, just imagine those combined. It is a really nice overall grape experience that I love. Buzz Intensity: 9.5: The effects of this are fucking awesome. Right after a few SSV microdose bowls, I was lounging back and playing some video games in utter bliss. I get that big Indica body stone with a nice warm/fuzzy/uplifting head feeling. Price: I paid $60 for 7g in a build your own ounce mixer, but with their 20% anniversary/new customer discount, you could grab a zip for around $180 (priced full at $239 which I totally get). Value: 9: Personally, no matter how absolutely amazing a strain is, I believe no zip should cost more than $220. With discounts you can get this below that, but at $239 a zip I think it could come down a pinch. 'A' Scale Rating: LPB advertises this as a AAAA strain and I would whole-heartedly agree. This is a definite quad in my books.

Purple Dank Breath - Low Price Bud - Late Sept

I grabbed this PDB in a build your own ounce through Low Price Bud. The cost of this one was $60 for 7g pre discount. The bag appeal is absolutely off the chain with this strain. Super, super sticky, vibrant greens, reds, purples, and it has a Purple Space Cookies like smell, but I can smell the ‘breath’ genetics at the end. I sampled this through a Silver Surfer and Sticky Brick vaporizer. The taste was like a mild grape/PSC type with the ‘breath’ taste on exhale (reminds me of a direct taste cross of purple space cookies meets pugs breath). The high is very, very good. I got that perfect warm/fuzzy head and body feeling that I’m always searching for. I received another 4 strains from LPB I’ll be putting up reviews for,!!)5 this is hands down my favourite of the batch. If I could go back in time I would’ve grabbed 28g of this.

Purple Drank Breath - Low Price Bud - September

20200922_140101.jpg Bag Appeal: As you can see from the pics, this is a really pleasant bud to look at. I just love purple strains and this one had all the visuals, density and trichs down. The cure is perfect too. Had 1 large bud and all others mediums. Smell: I was hoping for a more pungent fruity flavour but it wasn’t that strong. Even in a jar after a week the terps seem to be lacking a little. It has more of a woodsy light fruity smell. Burn: In a join, it burned salt and pepper. Had a pretty strong woodsy flavour too. I found it just a tad harsh in the throat. In my Solo 2 it it tasted a lot better, more of a fruity woodsy/herbal flavour. Produced some pretty nice cloud vapours too. Potency: This is a balanced hybrid but I felt more of the Indica effects. This hit me pretty good behind the eyes to start and then you feel it set in your body. It is a really nice relaxing high. Purple Jelly Breath - Low Price Bud - September

20200916_203309.jpg Bag Appeal: The buds are really caked with trichs! handling the buds leaves your fingers dusty but not really stick though from trichs. The buds weren’t dense though, mostly fluffy and leafy. I’ve seen other batches have more color to it. Smell: Smells a lot like like a skunky red wine for me. Not too pungent though, I have to put my nose in the jar to really get the smell. Burn: Burned mostly white, just a bit of dark grey. Had a creamy earthy taste. It had a tiny hint of sweetness to it. I only really got some grape flavour with my Solo 2 but couldn’t really taste it as a joint. It’s really good in a vaporizer. Was a pretty smooth smoke overall. Potency: For all the trichs you see on the buds, I was expecting more potency out of it. It was a good uplifting high, not euphoric though, more of a calmer happy kind of mood. What I like about this strain is that it’s not sedating. You feel relaxed but not in a couch-locking way so I find it a good strain for any time of the day really.
