I do enjoy the high very much as its an uplifting and energetic sativa but for those that don't like a very piney smell and taste may not find this too appealing. It's similar to nuken but even more of a pine with sweet earthy undertones

Romulan - MainlandCannabis - May 2019

This is a beautiful batch of Romulan for sure. Not as dense and tight as other Romulans I've had, more of a fluffier look but really sticky and frosty with a great moisture level. Nice bag appeal. The smell is very pungent. Stinks of sweet pine and earth with peppery undertones and a hint of skunk. Will try tonight for sure!

Mainland Cannabis Overall rating: 9/10 Sign Up: Same as most other moms, send photo ID to prove age. Ordering & Pricing: Simple ordering Communication: Fast, Friendly and accommodating Packaging: Smell proof bag with products in smell proof plastic containers Im a daily smoker so my standards may be higher than others. All strains are subjective to the person using them. I ordered 8x7gs and smoked at least 1-2 joints of each before making the reviews as to not rush it. I have strains that I swear by while my friends say they dont get nearly as buzzed as me and vice versa, rest assured you will get a unbiased review. I am not receiving any credit or coupon for this review. This is a new mom they do not have a rating system ie: A-AAAA+++. Note I say 'Bag Appeal' but all the strains came in plastic containers not a bag. Blueberry Kush Smell/Nose 7/10 --- Not alot of blueberry notes, still smelled good though) Look/Bag Appeal 9/10 ---Nice medium-to-big sized nugs, exceptionally good trim job, light green with nice orange hairs, decent amount of trichomes) Taste 6.5/10 ---The taste is okay, not as 'berry' tasting as I may have expected, slight tickle on the throat. Slightly harsh compared to the other strains but not by much) High 7/10 Overall 6.5/10 ---Not as pronounced Blueberry smell/taste as I would of hoped but overall a good kush http://oi68.tinypic.com/6o25h4.jpg Pink Kush Smell/Nose 6/10 ---I would have to say this strain has been one of my favorites for along time. Im only giving smell a 6/10 because the smell wasn't there. But dont judge a book by its cover as this pink did redeem itself where it mattered the most) Look/Bag Appeal 6.5/10 ---Nice medium sized nugs, lots of dark orange/brown hairs, not a great trim job, nice amount of trichomes) Taste 8/10 ---The pink taste was defiantly there, its one of those weird stealthy weeds that dont smell like what it tastes) High 7.5/10 ---The high is the classic heavy hitting feeling. Definitely a coucher for sure. Im a daily smoker, a newer/novice toker would easily rate this a 9+, Very enjoyable Overall 7/10 ---Missing the smell on the nose, but overall still a good heavy buzz) http://oi68.tinypic.com/2v0o96s.jpg Critical Mass Smell/Nose 9/10 ---Smells sooo good! Very pungent. Nose worthy danky smell Look/Bag Appeal 8/10 ---Smaller sized nugs, more pop corny but some are still medium-ish, not micro smalls. Nice bright colours throughout the bud, decent trim, lots and lots of trichomes Taste 9.5/10 - Lots of floral/earthy notes, very smooth danky smoke, no harshness, nice white ash. Smoked the joint in record time it was that tasty. This one is a winner. High 9/10 - Didnt know anything about this strain before going in and thus had no expectations. Was blown away to say the least heavy indica behind the eyes feeling within minutes. Hits me just right, great nighttime medicine for most people, great all-the-time medicine for me. Overall 9/10 - This buds terpine flavour was very refreshing and distinct, the high is top notch. A new favourite strain http://oi65.tinypic.com/k4cty1.jpg Violator/Moby Dick Smell/Nose 9/10 ---Smells like citrus candy. The smell is superb. Pungent with loads of citrus notes, the smell is further unleashed once ground up. Look/Bag Appeal 9/10 ---Large sized nugs, bright green colour, covered in trichomes, nice trim job Taste 9.5/10 ---Smooth musty type flavour. Very appealing. Smells more citrus than it tastes. Flavour has pine notes mixed in with a very musty flavour. Very nice! Overall 9.5/10 ---Ive tried just plain violator in the past and it wasnt very memorable. This is quite the opposite. The strain doesn't seem to have a name so maybe not stable genetics yet, but I sure hope they can figure it out. http://oi67.tinypic.com/25swyg1.jpg BC God Bud Smell/Nose 4/10 ---Ive had a God bud on more than a few occasions and unfortunately this one missed the mark for me. The smell is very sour. This may appeal to some people. Its not the God bud terpene profile I was expecting. Look/Bag Appeal 6/10 ---Medium sized nugs, pale green colour, not alot trichomes Taste 6.5/10 ---Earthy/piney/sour, tad harsh on throat, it tastes better than it smells. (again if you like sour this may be your goto) High 6.5/10 ---I didnt get super ripped off it, wasnt overly memorable for me. Slight buzz. This strain was the least favourite of the 8 I tried. But my GF really did enjoy the sour taste. I wish I started the reviewing process on those two as they were insta-favorites, both have a wicked taste/smell/high. I hope this review helps some people out there. Package/shipping - In a box with a single layer of vacuum sealing. One aspect was different–they did not label the box but instead a layer outside of the box, so it could be reused. The gift was nicely wrapped in gift wrap and included a hand written note card. Perks for me - Free weed. Also came with a coupon code. Perks for you - They have a $300 for two ounce mix and match package. Customer Service - They seem nice enough but I haven't had to deal with any problems. Buds - Orange Cookies - 6/10 Lacking aroma, when it’s torn up it releases an orangy smell. Tight trim on it. Nice tacky spring when handled. Flavor in the vape has the peppery cookies note going on, which I love, and a light orange which is less prominent in the smoke and more in the vape. I found it evolved to taste burnt, and while the vapor was still happily going, the flavor had become less pleasant than I liked. The resulting high from one bowl is very head focused, with the advantage of destroying the slight headache I had been cultivating. It created a sensation like a vice grip, focusing all of my attention right up there, being pulled out of my body and into my head. I cannot stress how little body high there was enough. It’s also not creatively focusing. I’m going to have a go at meditating. It’s a smooth smoke, but burns mostly black with some gray patches. Stayed lit the whole time. It’s on for $260 an ounce with a note that only small buds remain, which is utter madness, and not in the good way. I would not buy it at that price. Violator/Moby Dick - 7.2/10 In the bag, very little smell. It’s a delicate citrus. Super frosty. Magnificent bag appeal, handles beautifully, large petals . The vape tastes smooth and with a bit of vanilla creaminess, like a cream soda mixed up with some Sprite. On the other hand, the first words that I used to describe it were “musty cheese”. I enjoyed it, would consider buying it again. It burns mostly black, however, it is extraordinarily smooth to smoke with an excellent milky pungency. It’s included in the $300 2 ounce deal which I think is quite fair given its overall quality. Kali Mist - 6.5/10 Beautiful nug with great bag appeal. No leafy bits at all. Of course, this is just one nug. It’s extremely dense, pretty much smell-free until broken up. Inside it has an earthy smell, but that’s about it. Similarly, the vapor, while present, is devoid of flavor. Since I wasn’t picking up much from it I handed it to my best friend, who said, “it tastes fresh.” In fact, our opinions differed–she liked this one better than VMD (which I preferred because it was more robust than KM) At best there’s a cooling back of the mouth flavor with a bit of dustiness. When I pushed it to the end of the bowl, it developed a bit of a pepperiness rather than an unpleasant burnt taste. That was a nice perk, I found it held up well in the vape. Burns to a dark gray and was viciously harsh compared to VMD, so I would recommend it strictly to anyone who vapes. It’s also a $260 ounce, so if it’s a strain you desire, sure, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it. Grease Monkey - 7/10 Actually aromatic in the bag! It is piney and busting it up makes it astringent and intensely pine and citrusy. Beautiful dark green and orange nugs, perfect trim. It does not taste like it smells, being rather smooth, with what I interpret as the flavor of banana and hazelnuts. I don’t think it’s as good as King Tuts AAAA version. Some of it burnt white, some of it burnt black, and it was harsh to smoke. The smoke was the most sweet, delicious flavored smoke I’ve ever had, though, so if your lungs are steely rather than asthmatic and weeny, have at it. Congo - 7.4/10 Genuinely exciting bag appeal nugget here, good aroma, a spicy fruit leather kind of smell, reminds me a bit of dried apricots in the bag before busting up the nug, which just enhances the aroma. The vapor flavor is reminiscent of jam, sweet and spicy, unfortunately a bit harsh. I’d go out of my way to try this strain from other sources, and consider buying this one again from Mainland Cannabis. Honestly, I think it’s the winner here. It’s a $240 ounce, which is slightly more reasonable in this case especially since Congo is a more obscure strain (I see Red Congolese more often) and it’s an attractive example. Death Train - 4.5/10 Smells weak, nothing really noteworthy. Vaping it is completely mediocre. Smoking it, it doesn’t really like to stay lit, it burnt to a black-brown ash. It’s weed, it’s harsh, I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it. The heady sudden onset high with the smoke is worth mentioning, it slams into you like a death train and knocked me from sober to fucked up in about 30 seconds. Smoking it, it is really potent. The problem is that it also tastes like a death train. Looks beautiful but it's not for me. Comatose - 7/10 Slight gassy smell, flavor is weakly herbal or floral, I don’t hate it, it doesn’t wow me. It’s a decent painkiller and the vapor is smooth. Like, I’d buy it if it were on sale. It’s not, though, it’s on for $220 an ounce. Burns dark gray/black, but it does shine as a smoke, it tastes incredibly refreshing and sweet, and it’s quite smooth. The high is worth noting. It brings on body chills and tingles, feels freaking amazing. Recommend smoking before a lil winky winky nudge nudge if ya know what I mean. Critical Mass - 7.2/10 “Hoppy” in the way an IPA is, a lot of pine coming out of this. Really curls the nose hairs and is shocking in the vape, significantly more flavor than Comatose. It’s my favourite of the indicas in the sampler pack, and the one I can most strongly recommend, because it’s also been fairly priced at $150 an ounce, a very reasonable price for its flavor and potency, which is a middle of the road. That said, my preference extends only as far as vaping, because it burnt black and was unfortunately harsh, not staying well lit. In closing: Mainland Cannabis is a legitimate MoM with a strong sense of branding already present. I felt touched by how nicely assembled the presentation was in the package, making it less forgettable than a bundle of blank baggies. I will likely order from them in the future to try their medicated lip balm, as that is something I am very interested in! I found all of their cannabis examples they sent to me to have high bag appeal, and they do offer bulk. If you were thinking of trying them I won’t discourage it, though I don’t think they’ll be one of my go-tos for flower they do carry several niche products and if they continue to develop that line of products it will make them stand out from the crowd of similar offerings. The smoke results were hit and miss, some of them had an excellent cure and smooth smoke and others were harsh and uncomfortable.

Mainland Cannabis 10/10 overall experience was top notch Sign up is easy, name, address etc... However they do require you to upload a form of identification. Website is easy to navigate and the pricing is fair. Not too much of a selection but what they do offer is quality. Pricing on the Bruce Banner is great at $205 an oz. Communication started on this forum through a thread and continued through PMs then via email. All communication was quick with very little delay. Product arrived in a standard Canada Post shipping bag well taped and sealed. No odour. Label had no reference to the MOM. Inside was a white cardboard box similar to Herb Approach vacuumed sealed. No odour. Inside the box the flower was in two black ziplock bags. Yum!!! Lots of odour. Purple OG: Buds are dense, sticky and have a nice nose. Grapey and gassy. Hard hitter, ash burned white. A great night time smoke. IMG_20180531_213455.jpg Bruce Banner: A nice specimen of this strain. Bud is dense as well, pungent smell with a bit of citrus. A real nice flavor joints burned slow and ash burned nice and white. This one wakes you up and keeps you going. If you need to get stuff done and still want to smoke, this one won't slow you down. This is a new MOM. I started a thread to simply ask my fellow stoners about the Bruce Banner strain. To my surprise a representative of Mainland Cannabis came in and offered a free sample. Of course I took them up on their offer. Not only did they send a 5 gram bud of Bruce Banner but they also sent a gram of Purple OG with Express Post shipping paid for. Pics above. As stated above this MOM came out of nowhere and offered a free sample to showcase the bud they offer. They did not ask me to come here to review their product at all. I'm doing this to help support their business as they seem to care about this community and what we're smoking. They have a new customer with this guy, product offered was outstanding.
