Adorned with chunky resin glands, this beautiful batch arrived in dense buds absolutely sticky to the touch that went toe-to-toe with the teeth on my grinder. First impressions can't be fully expressed without mentioning the complexity and depth of aroma that immediately surrounds your senses upon opening the jar. The parent Genetics of GG4 (Chemdawg and Sour Diesel) really lend a pure petrol that sits front and center with a sugared backend of nutty musk that stems from the Cookies & Cream lineage, both pairing well to create a truly intoxicating scent every single time you handle the flower. All of these terpenes build a flavorful concoction that, when burned, will linger in your mouth for a solid half hour. Effects took hold almost immediately after the first few drags which manifested as a robust body buzz that stretched itself to the farthest reaches of my limbs, but didn't leave me in a couchlock thanks to it's hybrid nature. **MoM/RetailerName** PinkJoint **Shipping/Packaging** Shipped and received in a quick 2 days coming over from BC to Ontario. Packaged in a sturdy white box with all the contents vacuum sealed within. Really neat cardboard containers that are used for the flower with the strain name and size/weight. Also noticed there was a tiny piece of a fabric softener sheet to cover the weed smell. Don't think that was needed as the vacuum seal was good enough and I've seen this has been brought up and addressed by another reviewer who advised against it. I'm sure they will ditch that idea. **Wedding Cake** https://i.imgur.com/uvFuTYF.jpg Really liked the packaging and presentation of these little canisters. Reminds me of how David's Tea is packaged. It's a lovely cross of Cherry Pie × Girl scout cookies which are two outstanding strains. The weed came just a wee bit on the drier side, mostly on the outside but nothing extreme. A day or two with a boveda brought some moisture back. Most of the buds were on the smaller end of the scale but quite frosty looking with vibrant orange hairs. It was only a 2 gram sample after all so I wasn't expecting any massive buds. Overall, a decent bag appeal. When broken up, the aroma really comes out. The combination of citrus and spice almost gives me a grapefruit impression with some added tangyness. Also has a cookie type smell that's easily recognizable. Tastes quite similar with that same creamy tangyness that is carried over, giving it a sweet and sour accented smoke. Found it to be pretty smooth with a light coloured ash but can definitely tingle the nostrils like can be expected from some spicy/peppery strains. Found the high to be pretty balanced, with a mix of uplifting and relaxing effects. One of those very talkative and social type highs that wore off into a more mellowed out buzz eventually. Only wish the effects lasted a little longer but it was still an enjoyable representation of wedding cake. Didn't leave me burned out or tired afterwards. **Nuken** https://i.imgur.com/HHsFStw.jpg Probably one of the most popular strains around Canada and the market along with a few notable others like rockstar and purple kush. Still enjoyed by many, myself included. This one came in a two gram sized nug in a very typical and familiar Nuken structure. Dense texture with a forest green complexion and full of trichomes and hairs. Was of a moderate humidity level, being neither dry or sticky. Very familiar and recognizable Nuken aroma that is dominated by pine at first. Once cracked open that sweet, berry smell comes out followed by a herbal earthyness. Thick and flavorful smoke that is mostly earthy tasting, with hints of sweet herbs and pine. It was rather smooth in a bong with a clean burning ash. Sometimes Nuken can be a harsh and acrid smoke but this was quite the opposite. One of those indicas that leave you completely relaxed straight away, but not going to lock you to the couch or put you to sleep. It can be smoked anytime during the day really. Stay at home and watch tv or play some games, or go out with the friends for dinner and movie. Very versatile and functional strain and this Nuken is a great example of it. **Mary's Sour Swirls 55mg edible gummies, Sativa and Indica variety** https://i.imgur.com/tnD4R0r.jpg - https://i.imgur.com/PV9Y6uF.jpg These gummies by Mary's came in a sativa or indica version. They were 55mg a pack so each gummy was 27.50mg of THC making them good for lower tolerance individuals. I gave them to my sister rather than wasting them on myself and she said they gave her a decent high and the indica ones were slightly stronger. She also mentioned they had a good flavour, and about the size of a jube jube. Also with the expected weed taste that wasn't too powerful. Ordering & Pricing: Pink Joint has a nice selection of flower, priced on the cheaper side with some $99oz and $64 half oz, trips priced around $130oz. All their quads were sold out, not sure on pricing per oz. Great selection of concentrates - Shatter, wax, terp sauce, distillate carts, edibles and hash. Communication: Communication was fast and professional. Packaging: Generally it was packaged nicely, the flower samples arrived in very nice cardboard tubes which were vac sealed, inside a good sized white shipping box, taped very well. No smell from the package at all. However, in the bottom of the shipping box I noticed a piece of a dryer sheet. I immediately emailed them and explained all the reasons why including dryer sheets was a very bad idea. They replied very fast, thanked me for the information and verified that they will no longer use these and they will adjust their packaging methods. The smell, taste and effects are fairly consistant with my experice with this strain. Size of buds: Couple 1g buds, hard to tell standard bud size. Bag Appeal: 7 - Buds looked nice, nothing fancy or amazing. Lighter greens with lots of orange hairs, good covering in trichomes. Cure & Humidity: 6 - The flower was pretty dry, just a slight hint of moisture in the middle. Smell Intensity: 6.5/10 - The smell was a little stronger than I expected, nose was okay with the standard cookie / earthy smells. Did get quite a but stronger when busting. Harshness vs Smoothness: Fairly smooth, slight tickle in the throat. Fast burning with grey / white ash. Taste Intensity: 6 - Taste wasn't strong, but it did have a nice subtle sweetness to it. Taste Complexity: 5 - Some earthy and sweet flavors. Buzz Intensity: 7 - Nice heady buzz with some mental stimulation, very heavy in the eyes. 'A' Scale Rating: AA Strain Name: Nuken - AA - $8g https://i.imgur.com/FYE3P3l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/spRGR2b.jpg https://i.imgur.com/3hTFPSC.jpg Strain Fidelity: Nuken is pretty much a staple strain everywhere. Smell, taste and effects are on par. Size of buds: 5 - Buds were smalls, slightly leafy. Bag Appeal: 5 - Small buds, dry. Usual trim for smalls. Good covering in yellow / amber trics. Cure & Humidity: 5 - Really dry, just crumbles with some pressure. Smell Intensity: 7 - Interestingly, for the dryness of the flower, the stuff had a really strong nose. Classic Nuken smell, little more on the tropical fruit zest side. Harshness vs Smoothness: Taste Intensity: 6.5 - Stronger than I expected, but not as strong as the smell. Taste Complexity: 6 - Usual earthy sweet taste with some tropical zest. Buzz Intensity: 6.5 - Nice head buzz, relaxing. Some pain relief. Oh hey man! Yeah I remember you haha. Well, I haven't seen many other reviews except one other one on the canadianmom forums but in my experience they seem to be a decent company on a product and customer service standpoint. Keeping in mind that this was a sample pack and not a regular purchase.
