Pink Cookies from Prohibition Farms beginning of December

These buds of Pink Cookies from Prohibition Farms are medium sized hearty nugs. They smell of sweet baked goods and bubblegum, with a hint of gas. The smell transfers to the taste almost exactly. This cut is a cross of 11 week pink and Secret Cookies x Kush Mint 11. It gives a very clear headed high and as always the flower had perfect moisture (with no need for a boveda pack), an extremely clean burn and white as snow ash. Pink Cookies is great for all day use, I would recommend something a little heavier for the evening.

XOLBG Rosin - Prohibition farms - Dec

As you can see this rosin has a more sticky wax consistency than a buttery one, still easy to work with. Complex skunky flavour with a surprising minty finish. Really enjoying this one, sleepy stoney high great for late night. I believe this strain is an in house one from Prohibition Farms as well. Rating: 8/10

Red Congo | mid December 2020 | Prohibition Farms

I’ve had a lot of Congo phenos over the last couple years and this one is a very strong contender against HGA’s(acmedical?) Red Congo. Super sticky buds that literally stick to everything. I tried breaking a bud up with my hands and I couldn’t get the chunks off my fingers into my grinder. Like you need anti-stick gloves or some new stoner technology to grind up this flower. I’d suggest making a friend or partner bust it up for you because it’s work lol. Rolling is a big challenge if your fingers are coated in that resin but as your fingers heat up the flower you get more of the amazing terps overwhelming the smell in your home and neighbourhood. Super heavy citrus terps. Kind of like a spicy lemon zest. Imagine eating 5 yellow starburst at once and it overwhelming your taste buds, that’s how quickly the terps overtake your surroundings. The smoke is perfect, that usual spicy nose feeling from Congo strains to an amazing citrus taste start to finish. Heavy oil ring and the whitest ash I’ve seen in a while. The high is very strong and had me dancing down the street in my own dreamland as I smoked it. This one takes the cake for best sativa of 2020 from what I’ve had the pleasure to try. It’s been 2.5 hours and I’m still feeling mildly high with no tiredness. Paid $116/14g for this. No incentive to review but I did receive a free 150mg pack of CBD gummies :) Q:10 (perfect for me. I can’t think of one thing I don’t like about this flower) V:10 (I would pay $230/oz for this all day everyday for the rest of my life)

The New | mid December 2020 | Prohibition Farms

Well damn, if you got this before it sold out you know how fucking lucky you are. GSC x Larry OG. This flower smells like a super dank cookie dough with a gassy after tone, really sweet and spicy and very unique. The cure and ash were exactly as you’d expect from PF flower. Rolled a 1.5g joint and it ripped my face off last night so much so I’m worried about smoking this flower at all during the day. For potency it’s beyond their LAKC6.3 that’s also a power house. This one has much stronger indica qualities and gives you that heavy feeling behind the eyes and full body relaxation. Paid $116/14g. Not an incentivized review but they did provide me with a free pack of 150mg cbd gummies :) Q:9.5 (trim is only thing and that’s totally being picky because those sugar leafs don’t effect quality of smoke, only appearance) V:10 (compared to other MoMs this is top notch value for dollars spent. May be high for some but you get exactly what you pay for)

LA Kush Cake - Prohibition Farms - December 2020

when i first opened the bag i was greeted with a mid green coloured nug with purple highlights and bright wiry orange hairs. Covered in sticky trichomes, nice and dense with not one extra leaf in sight as you can see on the closeups. The immediate smell was kushy earthy creamy but when i busted the nug open the creamy vanilla became the dominant smell, after lighting it on fire the terpenes seemed to even out and balance beautifully with one another. That being said, I wouldn't mind if the taste was stronger. My other complaint would be the scratchiness on the exhale. Not enough to make me want to cough but enough to be noticeable and effect the enjoyment slightly. It did however have a very thick heavy smoke with a greasy resin ring starting after one puff a pretty descent mid grey ash and a BEAUTIFUL buzz. A pretty balanced hybrid imo, with maybe a tad more sedation because i definitely didn't get any energetic feeling but euphoria came on quick followed by the heavy relaxation. 8.5/10

Ice Cream Man | early December 2020 | Prohibition Farms

WOWEE. This stuff is an absolute treat! Heavy gelato terps with a cookie undertone. The bag appeal is bonkers on this stuff and the scent is intoxicating. It’s hard to keep my jar lid off this batch. Very fluffy but dense buds. When you grind it up you net a lot more in your grinder than expected which is nice for me as I like to roll fatties. The smoke is super smooth and thick. The cure was perfect and shows in the ash, no grey until late in the joint if at all. Heavy oil ring on this one. The high is ID hybrid for me and the potency is perfect for late afternoon or evening. This one won’t knock you out but it’s a very good hybrid that puts a little stutter in your step. I’ve grabbed this flower before cleaning or cooking as it slows me down and helps me focus up on simple tasks. Paid $119/14g and worth every penny in my eyes, although if it was priced at $200/o-$220/o it would get a 10! Q:9.5 V:9.5

French Toast - Prohibition Farms - November 2020

sticky and smelly, with a name like french toast you know i was excited to try this. Smells were herbal, spicy and creamy with some sweetness on the dry hit but was more subtle on the taste. The smoke was kind of scratchy but not enough to cough and the smoke was heavy just like the buzz. scrambling my brain and relaxing my body, this is definitely the best part about this batch of french toast. overall 8.5/10

i really love this one. i gotta start off by saying limonene is my favorite terpene, and anything thats limonene dominant also comes with my favorite buzz. That being said, not all batches of red congo do it for me. sometimes they some rough, or have no terps, or are immature and leafy. This batch however, punched me in the face with terps the second i opened it up. as i went to grab a nug to inspect further the stickiness was REAL. it was truly fresh af. Breaking it open i couldnt help but smile, exactly the smell i wanted and just covered in trichomes. i wouldnt mind if there was more nug to stem ratio but thats really my only complaint. rolling it up was such a pleasure knowing the terps i was about to experience, the joint prety much rolled itself it was so sticky and just one puff in i knew i was in love. the inhale is smooth and thick and the exhale is so goddamn terpy. mid way through the first exhale the buzz rushes to my head with a strong clear Energetic, euphoric & happy mind fuck. absolutely beautiful cannabis 9.5/10
