Prohibition Farms - Multi strain review - May 2022

Okay got a big order from PF, they have a deal where if you get 4 x 14g bags that aren’t “fresh drops” each bag will cost $50. So naturally I got 4 oz, and using a discount code this brought the total down to $340 + $20 for xpresspost for a QP which I thought was an awesome deal especially because you can mix and match. The strains I got were Platinum Gas, Cereal Milk, Platinum Banana OG, MAC U2, High Octane, The New. Will be reviewing high octane and the new later, will make these shorter didn’t wanna do all separate review. All bags were a mix of mostly medium and small nugs and some popcorn. Platinum Gas - caked in trichomes, little drier than others but definitely not “dry” stuff is super sticky. Probably the most dank terps out of the bunch, just stinky kushy earthy meaty terps. Good potency, relaxing stone, not face melt but hits hard. Nice white ash. Q 8.5 V 9.5 Cereal milk - Ive had this one before and it’s just as good this time, not the heaviest hitter but such creamy, milky smooth delicious terps. The nugs are super frosted and this one came perfectly cured and ultra fresh. This and the banana OG were the freshest, they were actually both “fresh drops” but for some reason I was able to order them with the deal. Super sticky, awesome daytime smoke love this strain and PF did an awesome job. Could’ve been bigger nugs that’s all. Q 9 V 9.5 Platinum Banana OG - This one is my fav of the bunch. Strong danky, creamy, gassy banana peel terps. I pick up something different in the smell each time I open the jar. This one is the stickiest and freshest I’d say. Absolutely packs a punch smoked only half joint of this one and I was pretty cranked and I have a high tolerance. White ash and greased up oil ring, was very impressed with this one. Again only complaint would be wish I had some bigger nugs. Q 9.5 V 9.5 MAC U2 - this one was the most disappointing for me. To be fair this was rated as AAA on the site, but the pictures it looked even better than their regular MAC which I’ve had before and loved, and the description was saying “terp hunters dream”. Honestly wouldn’t get this one again. The terps were really muted and kinda lame compared to others. Just kinda muted earthy a little fruity maybe. This bag was mostly popcorn and the nugs just didn’t look that good IMO. The pics look even better than it looks with my eyes which is the opposite for the others somehow lol. Probably driest of the bunch but it’s still sticky and has some squish. White ash on the smoke but not very potent. Potency similar to MAC but normal MAC has better bag appeal and terps so I wouldn’t rec this one. But again it was rated AAA but it was the same price as the other ones. Value rating will be lower because of this. Q 7 V7.5 Will review the other 2 strains later, will quickly note that the high octane probably has the best bag appeal, absolutely super caked nugs. Overall awesome order from PF, happy with everything except the U2 but it’s not bad it just doesn’t shine compared to these other strains. Great deal as well Cheers!

Sourced------Directly from Prohibition farms after joining their site.Bag Appeal----6-10 -----as they are small to very small buds, but sticky and fresh looking. Quality of buds--8-10--l fresh and sticky; very well trimmed with no off smells. Potency 9.5-10---They really shine giving the wonderful Sativa high, mixed with some Indica Goodness. Stronger high than the AAA varieties like JJ's Whiskey Cookies, but still not ultra premium Quad buds. Full sized ones should have a "face melting" potency, similar to it's parent strain "Where's My Bike". These small nuggets give a powerful ,lingering high, that feels very Sativa like. Not something to drive a car while under the influence ,as they have serious punch. Value----10 out of 10 because this is the strongest weed I have experienced for a while, and I ordered a half ounce, but they sent me a full one, because they didn't have any big buds left. Not our typical standard deal, but for under a hundred an ounce, this is easily the best deal, I have had this year. If these were glistening, full sized buds they would be worth the full price if 189 an ounce, but mine were small.

Where's My Kush Cake - Prohibition Farms - Gizmo Crafts - MAR 21

Hadn't had any 6.3 in awhile which was one of my all time favorites so I knew I needed to try this. PF had told me this was their favorite pheno and very similar to their LA kush cake 6.3. Just crossed with where's my bike. They weren't wrong at all. Upon opening it, you get those same burnt rubber creamy cake kush mints OG gas terps - buds are a bit smaller and some more airy than others but it's very sticky and completely gums up your grinder. Grinded up, those terps really come through strong and it's addicting smelling it. It brings me back to last year when I was smoking multiple ozs of that amazing 6.3. Using it in a vaporizer or joint was a flawless experience, heavy terps, heavy buzz and so smooth. The terps and smoke really shined in an elements cone which left a nice clean white ash and great oil ring/watermark ( https://imgur.com/a/RzXOGvt ) smokes and tastes like a true craft quad. After finishing a 1G cone, it hit me hard and quick into a couch lock. This is very gassy and mouth watering tasty. Would definitely grab this again as it has some of my favorite terps and is such a clean unbelievable smooth tasty smoke. Only minor complaint is that its not those huge massive buds I remember but maybe that would be different going through PF direct - still doesn't affect smoke quality or experience. This hits hard and fast. Q - 9 V - 7.5

Where’s My Kush Cake - Prohibition Farms / Gizmocrafts - January 2022

This is a Hybrid indica dominant strain crossing L.A. Kush Cake and Where’s My Bike. I’ve never had this one before but I’ve rarely been disappointed by a Kush strain and this is no different. This strain has strong gas terps, smells and tastes really gassy, but also a little sweet and piney. The buds are quite sticky, resiny and frosted. The effects are a pretty potent, and relaxing full body high, definitely has most of the classic indica characteristics I love. Very good strain for increasing appetite. Quality 8.5/10 Potency 8/10

Red Congo - Prohibition Farms / Gizmocrafts - January 2022

This is a sativa dominant strain, i’m not usually much of a sativa smoker as they haven’t done much for me in the past but this one was a real winner. The nugs are dank, fluffy, covered in crystals and have a nice pungent cheesy scent. The nugs were cured very well and have a good amount of stickiness. The high is heady, uplifting, energizing and had me feeling more light on my feet all day. Great strain for a morning time wake and bake, I felt it helps tremendously with focus and mental clarity while smoking through out the day. Quality 8.5/10 Potency 8/10

Used the first time customer coupon and got an o for 222$ all in with shipping This is some street gas, has such a clean burn is so smooth, feels like you’re smoking a quad, I got mostly medium and small size nugs but they all look really nice, it starts off a little slow but after 10 minutes you really feel it, definitely makes me cough though, overall I really enjoyed the drop, this MoM is a little too pricey for me but I’ll be on the lookout for any coupons bc damn this is some good bud Q 9/19 V 7.5/10

Platinum Gas • Lineage: Platinum Gorilla x Animal Gas • Bred by @prohibition_farms • Cultivated by @prohibition_cultivations • Sourced from @owo__canada • ? • Bag appeal - these perfectly trimmed medium sized buds are dense with a perfect snap and are both sticky and greasy feeling with an excellent cure. Olive green buds with dark forest green and sone purple throughout and wild looking thin reddish orange pistils and all heavily caked with frosty trichomes with majority of the outer heads still very visibly intact. • ??? • Smell/Taste/Burn - the nose is heavily dominated by that spicy but also slightly sweet kushy Platinum funk that is also very gassy with a touch of earthiness. The taste follows suit with the same sweet and spicy kushy Platinum terps at the forefront with sharp gassy overtones and a funky earthy type finish. Joints burn perfectly and instantly form a sizable oil ring while producing a light grey ash • ? • High - an indica leaning high that is of medium potency and would be best suited for beginners or for some daytime gas that doesn't fuck you up too bad. I have been using it as the latter and find it to be mildly relaxing with a bit of a stoney head high and does help with pain, stress, anxiety, and depression • ? • Overall this was my least favorite of the bunch but was still as mentioned, a great daytime option when not wanting the sativa high or to get to mangled. Gorgeous bag appeal, the terps are nice and translate well, burns clean and greasy to a light grey ash, and has a medium potency high. I rate this Quality 8.4/10 Sample for review

These gorgeous looking mainly purple buds are accented beautifully by dark forest and bright greens with thin and wispy pistils that are such a light copper color that they almost look peach and giving them a heavily frosted appearance is the thick layer of frosty white trichomes that still have plenty of outer heads visibly intact. Amazing bag appeal! • ??? • Smell/Taste/Burn - the nose on this is amazing and very cakey with sweet, creamy, and doughy vanilla and gas all topped with a delicate touch of sweet orange citrus and a hint of spice. The taste follows suit and the sweet and creamy cakey terps translate with a slight funk added on the inhale and has hints of citrus in the background and a cookie exhale that is a bit spicy and has some equally funky eucalyptus and a touch of gas. Joints burn perfectly and instantly build up a nice oil ring and leave behind a clean white ash • ? • High - a spacey head high with light pressure behind the eyes and some euphoria alongside a relaxing and pain relieving body stone that gradually increases. Within a short time the high becomes heavy in every sense of the word and just completely weighs your body down while your mind continues to soar in space. A wonderful evening smoke from PF • ? • Overall this was my favorite of the 3 from this round and another wicked cross by the team over at PF. Wicked looking bag appeal, a delightful terp profile and great translation to taste, clean and greasy burning, and potent effects. I rate this Quality 9.5/10 Sample for review

Gorgeous buds that are a mix of green and purple with plenty of dark orange fire looking pistils that pop like crazy and a thick coating resinous trichomes that gives them that frosted appearance and with the majority of the outer heads still very much intact. • ??? • Smell/Taste/Burn - sweet and creamy cake terps dominate the nose for the most part with soft fruity undertones that smells like a mix of Banana and cherries and is very enticing. The taste follows suit but in an even sweeter fashion as the fruity terps come through more like a syrup with equally strong cake terps that are a bit funky and a slightly spicy and somewhat earthy finish. Joints burn fine and instantly form a nice oil ring but unfortunately produce a layer of dark ash on the outside and is salt and pepper inside. • ? • High - this one hits hard before even finishing a j with potent balanced effects with relaxation from the start along with a calming and euphoric head stone. Becoming indica leaning the body load that started mildly relaxing gradually increases becoming damn near couchlocking but not quite and is best suited as a late afternoon/evening smoke • ? • Overall this was my 1st experience with this strain and I very much enjoyed it as I have with all the other strains I tried that were created by PF amd look forward to trying this o e again when they have it dialed in. Gorgeous bag appeal, a great terp profile that translates well to the smoke, greasy burning but with a dark outer layer of ash, and a nice potent indica leaning high. I rate this Quality 9.25/10
