Grandmaster Tuna - The Leaf Express - February 2021

https://imgur.com/a/owQX005 A cross of Master Kush x Tuna Kush, this one arrived as a smaller sized nug but with tons of character. Very dense and greasy, displaying a balanced mix of dark greens and purples, all accented by thin orange pistils. A few extra sugar leaves here and there but not a bad trim for the most part. Very sticky and frosty with multiple amounts of compact trichomes being present and intact. Nicely cured as well. The profile of this Grandmaster Tuna is a pungent and skunky mix of fuel and earth followed by distinct notes of tuna. Real dank and almost funky at times especially on exhale where it translates accurately with flavours of gassy tuna. Although a little heavy on the lungs, this one burns clean and resinous, leaving behind a light grey ash with a greasy oil ringer. An indica leaning high for the most part, with effects beginning first in the form of a mellow and uplifted head buzz. It's not long where it casually drifts off into a very lazy and relaxing demeanor, offering little motivation to get anything done. Its not completely overbearing as you're still able to stay attentive and focused, making it a good indica for winding down.

Smell: It was a bit earthy and spicy with a bit of gas. When I opened it up I got more of that spiciness. Taste: I got a lot of the spiciness and a bit of the gas on the flavor. Burn: The burn was good. The ash was a bit dark. Potency/Effects: It had a bit of a punch to it. The potency was good and the effects were energetic. My head felt very buzzed out and it gave me a creative boost. This would be good for daytime smoking. Overall: 9/10

Strain:  Tornado rated as Hybrid AAA First time trying this strain nice discovery, dense little caked nuggets with a really tight structure pretty hard to get a clear shots of the bud. A couple  hints of dark purple and bright/dark green. Has lots of milky heads and sticks well once busted open super easy to grind. Smell was a bit muted at first got really sour and fruity once busted open a bit skunky almost musky too. All transfered lightly to the taste with the skunky sourness being the most perceiveable. Smoked was light and smooth. Burned to a white fluffy ash and left decent resin ring on joints. A strong Sativa high one of my favorite high in a while, starts kind of spacy and got me really relaxed enough that i had to confirm which strain i had just tried if it was really sativa leaning. A long lasting high with a intense spacy start and really uplifting ride great for concentration enjoyed it a lot while gaming/ woking at home.  Great strain all over Quality 7.5/10 Value 8/10

Purple Candy Haze - The Leaf Express - November 2020

I've never had this strain before but I'm guessing it to be a cross of Purple Candy and a Haze of sorts. Round, dense, olive green buds with hints of purple throughout and darker hues of green as well. A modest amount of trichome heads but it also looks like a bunch of them have been knocked off. It arrived on the sticky and resinous side, holding in a decent amount of moisture and sporting a close trim. It has one of those profiles that seem familiar, reminding me of certain berry related strains that I can't quite put a finger on. It's a combination of sour berries and musky earth in both aroma and flavour, with an added spiciness when smoked. There also some floral accents in the mix. It's smooth and easy on the lungs, producing a modest oil ring and salt and pepper ash. The high seems to coast around the balanced hybrid territory, offering a mix of mind and body effects that never get too overpowering. Definitely feels like the type of buzz that keeps you functional enough to go about daily tasks as it's cerebrally engaging with no noticeable sedative qualities other than a sense of calmness that comes with it.

Tornado - The Leaf Express - November 2020

This was the lesser rated strain out of the 4, although I actually found it to stand out over some of the others. Derived from Jamaica, this Tornado has a decent appeal with it's dense and conical in structure. Shades of dark purples and greens that are complimented by peach coloured pistils. Slightly sticky with plenty of stalks and not many heads once again and a very tight trim job. Quite the aromatic strain, especially when broken apart where it releases it's full profile. Pungent and peppery, with undertones of skunky diesel. Not as pronounced in taste as I'd hoped as it only carries over subtle hints of how it smells. The burn was on the lighter side and produced a decent sized oil ring. The high is definitely sativa in nature as it promotes uplifting and energetic tendencies, all while keeping one in a mellow, clear headed state. Social as well as it can have you wanting to engage in mundane conversation. Maybe a little short lived as it seemed another puff was needed quicker than usual to keep the buzz going.

Strain : Zombie OG from Theleafexpress, Indica dominant hybrid rated as AAAA. Had the classic OG look with a perfect trim and heavy coating of trichomes. Big dense bud covered in milky trichomes giving it a white shinny appearance thru the bright lime green. Lots of pistils making parts of the nug darker. Smell was gassy, earthy and a bit piney almost floral. A little faint at first but it got stronger once you break it appart. The smoke is heavy but pretty smooth and has a strong earthy but gassy taste. It burned really slow and left a fluffy white ash on each bowl and decent resin rings on joints. It was the first time I got some Zombie OG rated as AAAA, it didnt disappoint definitly a heavy hitter. Great night time strain with a very intense relaxing start, that transfered fast into a deep sedating high. Deep sleep inducer for sure ahah.

Zombie Kush - The Leaf Express - November 2020

Zombie OG* Plump, mossy green buds that display an iconic zombie appearance with a pale complexion and plethora of thick orange hairs that grow in clusters. They have a soft texture but squishing a nug between the fingers gives a good idea of it's moderate density and stickiness. A lot of stalks and squished trichomes would be my only gripe as the trim and cure are good. The profile is layered and takes a few attempts to fully take in as it's peppery and woody at first but gets piney and sweet when broken up. The flavour is similar when smoked with a spicy kush taste on the exhale. It leaves the entire area smelling of incense and cedar wood with it's aromatic smoke. Smooth and clean burning, producing a light ash and medium sized oil ring. I found the high to come on quickly as I started feeling extremely relaxed and mellow after a few minutes. Low, heavy eyes, and a light body buzz that became more apparent as time went on. It also brought on quite the heady/stoney effects that paired nicely with it's slightly sedative state. It's not a knockout indica but it did leave me rather lazy afterwards.

Strain - Purple Candy Haze (Purple Candy x Haze) Mom - The Leaf Express Smell - this strain sports a great dank nose that reeks of floral, sweet berries, all mixed with an earthy muskiness. The stuff has a decently sweet nose to it and carries a unique terpene profile Smoke - smooth to smoke on with no coughing taking place. The taste translates quite good to smoke with more of a spicy pungent berry flavor coming off on both the inhale and exhale alike. Slight oil ring and it burned quite lengthy and consistently. The ash was salt & pepper, medium to lighter grey in color High - with this being a hybrid with a slight indica dominance, I fealt this to be more of a later day time or starting your evening off. Brings forth a relaxing high, munchie inducing, but also I found focus not totally lost Quality: decent sized all around with a blend of minty and emerald green coloring with purple undertones throughout. Dense yet squishy nuggets, and really stick resinous buds. Made up of thin brownish copper pistils, and sprinkled in a layer of frosty trichomes

Quick communication with detailed explanations SHIPPING/PACKAGING: small discreet, all vac sealed and all 4 strains individually in their own separate labelled mylar bags PRODUDCT(S) TO REVIEW: Strain - Tom Ford Pink Kush Smell - instantly the terpenes begin to escape the bag as you begin tearing it open. That really pungent floral stank mashed together with gassy pine and slight citrus hints Smoke - smooth and long consistent burn, clean light greyish white ash with an oil ring that grew as the joint burned down. Inhaling it bring forward the floral and piney flavors, and on the exhale it's more earthy cedar tasting High - this is one of those strains that you lean on when you've got some spare time to kill, or are just looking to take it easy. Very relaxing and a good head high, leaving you feeling good also it relieves any pain that previously existed. More for evening time or later daytime smoke Quality: evenly distributed medium and darker green shades make up the coloring of these buds, with fire orange thin pistils, and a draping of amber trichomes. It's one of those strain that doesn't have the most pleasant bag appeal but it definitely makes up for it in potency. The buds were fairly squishy and extremely fresh on the inside Strain - Zombie OG (OG Kush x Blackberry) Smell - you can for sure catch various whiffs of fruity, blackberry, gassy, and earthy aromas that this strain possesses. Really easy to take big deep hauls off a joint without any issues of coughing High - good hitter and properly named, this strain is more for chilling out and just kicking back. You're not going to want to accomplish much after puffing this stuff. Better for daytime when you don't have much on the go or evening time sessions Quality: lime and emerald green compact dense bud that is really cleanly trimmed up. These chunky nugs have a decent layer of amber trichomes, and plenty of brownish orange pistils reaching all directions. I've had a few cuts of this strain and this is possibly my favorite to smoke so far Strain - Jedi Kush (Death Star x SFV OG Kush) Smell - just like the dark buds the scent that this strain carries is quite the pungent skunky diesel and a very sour earthiness all within the same whiff Smoke - a very thick robust smoke, medium grey salt & pepper ash, really greasy resin ring that built up throughout the burn. The dank taste of gassy pine was heavy on the inhale, and converting to a sweet earthy skunkiness on the deep exhale High - this pure indica beast carries a creeper high. You realize just a short while after finishing blazing that the effects begin to roll in. Heavy eyes, relaxation, and full on head high all set in and you suddenly lose motivation.
