Finally getting around to trying out Space Party's flower aft...er hearing many good things about them. I had to start with Jacks Cleaner as it's the first one I reached for. An oldschool lineage involving (Pluton x Lambsbread x Purple Haze x Northern Lights) x Jack Herer, bred by Subcools The Dank. An amazing backstory to her as well, only making me further appreciate it's existence. Buds arrived with an Integra boost, feeling dense and fresh with a well cured, snappy, sticky texture. Sporting a light green coat peppered with shades of purple that can barely be seen through a dense jungle of robust, bright orange, vine-like hairs. Good trichome coverage as well.
The nose on this Jacks Cleaner is accurate to it's name, smelling like a zesty, fresh, lemon scented cleaning product with a splash of pine. One of the most limonene dominant strains I've come across lately and I even get hints of lemon candy at times. The translation to taste is on point as those same notes of citrus zest and pine carry over with a lovely lemony sweetness. Also has a kinda ”chemmy” taste that lingers after each exhale. Super smooth and burns very nicely with a light grey ash and decently sized oil ring.
While this strain delivers in all areas, I enjoyed it's high more than anything. Exactly the kind of effects I want my sativa dominants to provide and provide them exceptionally well it did. Energizing and super uplifting, leaving any stress or negativity in the dust. It can be a little intense and unfocused if you aren't accustomed to powerful cerebral highs and it's certainly a strain that demands being out and about and active. Would easily scoop this one up in a jiff again as a daily driver.
Last but certainly not least, this lovely batch of PBB. Minus the one pesky little nanner I found. It didn't turn up in any of my pictures but ...still worth mentioning. Buds are dense with a crisp exterior and slightly sticky, snappy interior. The smaller nugs were also a little drier than the bigs. Colours are a blend of forest and olive greens with beautiful purple steaks throughout underneath a generous layer of milky trichomes and copper hued hairs.
This PBB has a very breathy, halitosis like funk followed by peppery, herbal, nutty, earthy, and floral undertones. Real rich and dank. Combustion yields identical results as everything translates from the nose, producing a herbal, spicy, nutty, savoury funk with a rich floral, earthy aftertaste. Smooth and resinous, burning with a salt and pepper ash. Maybe a little more on peppery side.
The high is a very relaxed and laid back one with a mellow cerebral stone and overall hybrid leaning vibe, proving to be an any time of the day kind of buzz. Not the most potent of PBB's but it's got a decent kick to it and seems to stick with you for a good amount of time. Another one I felt to stand out from the bunch.
I'm not 100% sure but based on the info I dug up I believe this MAC 10 to be MAC F2 x (Starfighter x Colombian), said to be an enhanced version of the original. One thing that can&...#39;t be denied is the insane bag appeal on this cut. Just dripping in juicy trichomes in every nook and cranny you look, leaving the buds feeling fresh and sticky to the touch with an excellent cure. Dense, chunky, and trimmed with care, allowing her colours and felt-like textures to really pop in the form of lush purples, pale greens, and bright oranges.
The nose on this MAC 10 is amazing, especially after you break a nug apart where it emits those pungent funky MAC aromas I so love. Leading with a nutty herbal dankness that is followed by sweet, creamy, and earthy undertones. Translates to taste exceptionally well, especially in a joint, delivering the same funky but savoury MAC terps found in the nose. Very smooth and resinous burning, producing a clean white ash and thick resin ring.
A balanced onset of indica hybrid driven effects with a solid potency to boot, beginning with a rush of euphoric qualities that left me feeling noticeably upbeat and cheery with a powerful head high to match. It's eventually accompanied by a very relaxing, calming high, perfectly combining with it's initial wave of effects to provide a long lasting stone suited for an afternoon or evening sesh.
A sativa dominant cross between Duke Nukem & an unknown strain. Arriving as super dense, super sticky, tightly machine trimmed nugs, proving a task to break up by hand due to their gummy, glue ...like texture. Dark green in colour with hues of purple blended within, followed by a fair share of reddish orange pistils and lanky white trichomes.
The nose on this Daisy Duke is incredibly fruity and aromatic, almost to the point of being obnoxious but in a good way if that makes sense. Very Strawberry Guava like with creamy, fruity, and berry-strawberry nuances paired with a real desserty, dairy kinda smell. The taste isn't as explosive or as fruity but it's still quite tasty with a smoke that is peppery and woody with hints of strawberry on the backend. Could be a touch smoother as the smoke is real thick and expansive and a touch scratchy on the throat, burning with a salt and pepper ash and average sized resin ring.
Equipped with a sativa leaning high of decent potency, especially when waking and baking. Extremely heady but not racy in the slightest, delivering a very uplifted, energetic, social high that is suitable for any time of the day. Just enough of a relaxing side to it that balances out the overall buzz without ever feeling sedating or counter productive.
Up next from THC, an interesting cut of Slurricane, both on the appearance and the terpene profile which I address later on. It's quite leafy in areas and could use a touch up but the b...eauty underneath the foliage is still very much present. Mainly forest green in colour with lovely shades of dark purple and violet throughout, followed by patches of bright orange hairs and a modest dusting of trichomes. Appearing as dense but they are actually light and slightly airy with a neutral texture to them. (will update if a seed is found)
Certainly unlike any Slurricane I've ever had and that's not a bad thing at all as this Slurricane literally smells like Tropicana Orange Juice. Seriously, this flower could very well pass for Tropicanna Cookies but without the dark purps. Creamy, tangy, sweet OJ and it amazingly translates to taste with the same refreshing orange juice flavours in both bong or joint. Smooth smoking and clean burning with a light coloured ash and medium sized oil ring.
I've been smoking this strain during the day on a few separate occasions where it really seemed to excel, especially as a wake and bake. It's uplifting and up tempo in nature as you'd expect from the terp profile, acting as a mood booster with social, energetic, and creative qualities. It's also not the type to bring on any anxiety and rather does the opposite with it's mellow relaxation that soon follows.
A compelling sativa dominant flower produced by crossing Super Silver Haze & Blue Magoo. Her bright green buds are sticky, decently resinous, and snappy with a firm textur...e and fresh, almost moist feel. Once ground up, it has that lively kinetic sand likeness to it and rolls joints with ease. Machine trimmed a little tight, leaving the outer heads squished & mangled.
Hits with a fruity tropical burst straight out of the bag with notes of berries, citrus, pepper, and vanilla. A good balance between the SSH and Blue Magoo. Unfortunately it's not as sweet nor intricate when it comes to the flavour as it's more or a generic herbal, peppery, slighty sweet tasting smoke. It's very smooth however, producing a salt & pepper ash with an average sized resin ring to follow in it's path.
A moderately potent, cerebrally focused high that goes right to the head after the first few tokes. It does a good job at promoting uplifting and social qualities, ideal for day toking. It's not heavy or sedating, allowing you to remain completely functional and active without feeling the least bit sluggish.
A cross between Chem Dawg D x Fire OG Bx3, these resinous nugs of Chem Fire arrived donning a forest green coat peppered with rusty orange pistils. Dense an...d quite sticky, showing a good amount of trichomes although many are disturbed on the exterior. The trim is also a little on the scrappy side but not too bad.
The nose on this Chem Fire is very pungent and in your face as one would except from it's parents. Sharp, gassy, sweet diesel-fuel, followed by hints of spicy kush. The taste is exactly the same as the nose with a sharp gassy fuel flavour with hints of sweet diesel, spice, and earth. Smooth on the throat but the smoke weighs a little heavy in the chest, burning with a dark grey ash and average sized resin ring.
A high that feels like a slightly indica dominant hybrid with a medium potency. Calming and very relaxing, slowly but surely building to a mellow, slightly couch locked high alongside a spaced out cerebral stone. They really compliment each other well overall, vibing nicely as a wind down evening smoke.
A cornerstone of many hot crosses nowadays, this Kush Mints from THC arrived with a fresh, sticky, snappy texture, leaving the fingers coated with... resinous trichomes while breaking it down for the grinder. Colours are a lovely mix of bright minty greens and violet purples as well as patches of forest green sugar leaf. A little leafy in certain areas but overall not too shabby. All topped off by a layer of milky white trichs and clusters of colourful orange pistils.
Such an amazing nose on this Kush Mints that I can't get enough of. Sweet, creamy, kushy, and spicy with soft earthy and herbal undertones. Very pungent and aromatic. The flavours follow suit in impressive fashion, tasting real similar to an ICC actually as they are sweet and super creamy with a delicate spicy, herbal, kushy background. Smokes as smooth as you'd like with a salt & pepper ash and large resin ring.
The high on this Kush Mints feels like an evenly balanced one with a decent potency that brings forth an onset of euphoric and relaxed effects, perfect for an afternoon or evening session. Very calming and laid back as well due to it's stoney nature and mellow couch locking qualities. One of my faves so far along with the Tangerine Dream.
A strain that I'm not all that familiar with, only trying it maybe once or twice in the past. A cross of Cheese & Space Queen by Subcool. This particu...lar Dairy Queen from THC arrived with a heavily dense, chunky structure and fresh, sticky texture. Her colours are a blend of light and dark greens with shades of indigo throughout, sporting a milky coat of resinous trichomes and rusty-orange pistils. A little leafy in areas but generally trimmed fairly well.
A deliciously sweet, dessert like nose that is creamy and sugary with a delightfully delicate fruity background. The flavours are overall quite similar, just not as sweet, producing a creamy, dessert nuanced smoke with a dankness on exhale. Personally enjoyed her in the bong the most as I felt it brought out the taste more. Joints produced a darker grey/pepper dominant ash and average sized resin ring.
The effects embody those of your average hybrid with balanced qualities that can be enjoyed at anytime. It's very mentally and physically calming with an extremely mellow, chilled out vibe but never once feels sedating as it's also stimulating and mood lifting. Definitely enjoyed everything this one had to offer.
