Icky Pink - Big Boss Farms - October 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Icky Pink Review Genetics : Sticky Icky x OG Kush Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup A cross between Sticky Icky and OG Kush. Very fitting for how sticky this Icky Pink is. Gummy and greasy, a recipe for effectively clogging up a grinder. Dense but squishy, maybe even a little too fresh/moist, not what I would deem a perfect cure and could benefit with jar time. Mainly forest green with subtle purple shading and a coating of rust-orange hairs, followed by a decent dusting of trichomes. A little lighter on the nose in comparison to the strains I've reviewed prior. More of a sour, earthy profile with a kushy floral sweetness. The flavours are also on the fainter side of things as the smoke is mainly earthy and dank with a little bitterness on exhale. Smoke is a little scratchy as well while the burn is perfect, producing a clean white ash and sizeable resin ring. The high is easily it's best trait as it has a pretty strong potency, only smoking less than half a j before feeling pretty touched. Not really sedating at first as it's more of an upbeat, heady stone but soon adds a little sedation and relaxation into the mix. Overall while not my favourite it does have some promising qualities, just never really been a fan of sour type kushes in general. Organic OG up next.

Blue Death - Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Blue Death Review Genetics : El Chapo OG x Pink Death Star Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup This one is definitely my favourite so far and I kind of had a feeling it would be after opening the bag to these exquisite looking buds. A cross between El Chapo OG and Pink Death Star, producing these extremely greasy, carefully trimmed nugs, showcasing shades of dark green and purple, accompanied by a substantial dusting of frosty trichomes and peach coloured pistils. Cure is on point once again, leaving the buds feeling fresh and hella sticky with a dense, snappy texture. Didn't know what to expect from this cross but it certainly took me for surprise. Dizzying, fuel-forward aromas that quickly fill up a room, followed by hints of sweet and spicy kush. A longer sniff yields a rich, vanilla like scent, giving it an interesting profile that translates perfectly to taste and then some. Took me a while to figure out as it's very different than the average gassy indica but I get a delicious berry gas flavour at first followed by a slightly spicy, kushy exhale. Definitely what I call a lip smacker as the taste lingers on the roof of your mouth. Silky smooth smoking, burning with a greasy oil ring and clean ash. She's a potent one, delivering a strong head high with an equally as powerful body high. A few minutes into a session and the relaxation already sets in, feeling yourself wanting to slump back in place while experiencing a spaced out, dreamy cerebral stone. It ultimately leads to a very serene, laid back couch lock with a potential nap to follow. Big fan of this one overall.

Pink Ultra - Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Don't believe I've ever had these two strains together before. Pink Kush x MK Ultra, birthing these extremely dense, greasy, forest green buds. Frosty, sticky, and very well cured with a neat trim to match. Initially smells very earthy and dank until broken up where it reveals a gassy, kushy sweetness with lingering floral notes. Flavours are also similar, leading with an earthy, gassy smoke paired with sweet, floral undertones. Pretty common profile overall but what really stood out is the cleanliness  of the burn and smoothness of the smoke, accompanied by a fat oil ring. The high is certainly worthy of the heavy hitter title. Definitely a step up in potency from an average pink kush with the inclusion of the MK. Very sedating, dreamy, and spaced out, delivering an unforgiving, effectively relaxing, couch lock. Perfectly suited for evenings and when needing to wind down as it makes for a potent sleep aid with stress/anxiety reducing qualities.

Gooba - Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Video : http://imgur.com/a/OlkIk9o Video #2 : http://imgur.com/a/VvHjsDy Gooba Review Genetics : Pink Goo x Pink Bubba Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup Starting off this round with a cross I've never tried  before although I'm very familiar with the parents. A Pink inspired marriage between Pink Goo and Pink Bubba, giving birth to this wildly fox-tailed flower, actually reminding me of certain cuts of Pink Goo I've had over the years. Maybe a common trait of hers. Dense, sticky, and ultra greasy, covered from top to bottom in gooey trichomes. A fitting colour scheme to resemble the ever changing foliage this time of year, combining shades of light and dark green with hints of purple and a substantial amount of copper orange pistils. Neatly trimmed and cured very nicely. A pungent, full bodied bouquet of dank earth and gas, followed by a sweet, floral musk. It kept reminding me of black licorice at times. Extremely similar when it comes to the taste, leading with earthy and gassy flavours while ending with a floral-perfumey exhale. The burn is slow and very resinous, producing a thick oil ring and salt n pepper ash. She's quite a potent one overall. Especially once the effects fully get rolling as it's almost got a creeper aspect to it. It opens up with a euphoric, elated high, feeling very dreamy and upbeat. After it's initial wave subsides it does a complete turnaround and unleashes a heavy dose of deep, couch-locking relaxation. Providing long lasting mental and physical relief throughout it's entirety.

Pink Death by Quad City - Sourced by Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Pink Death Quad City Review Genetics : Pink Kush x Death Bubba Sourced by: @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup Wrapping up this round of Big Boss reviews is the heavy hitting, resin dripping, finger licking Pink Death by Quad City. Chunky buds that are neatly manicured, allowing their greasy, trichome covered surfaces to shine amongst vibrant shades of green, purple, and orange. Ultra dense and compact, accompanied by a very sticky texture within. Cured to an absolute tee as well. A very pungent and dank aroma/flavour profile as to be expected from a Pink Kush x Death Bubba cross. Opening the jar releases suffocating notes of gas and earth that become slightly sweet and floral when ground up, but still very heavy on the gas. Also a lovely touch of vanilla detected in the background. The flavours are identical, leading with a sharp earthy gas and finishing with a floral vanilla taste that pleasantly lingers behind, burning with a clean white ash and thick resin ring. She's a potent one without a doubt, wasting no time to roll out her euphoric, immobilizing effects. Very heady and hazy feeling, kinda just forcing you to space out to something. Add in the heavy relaxation with the lazy couch lock and the end result is a sedating and long lasting one, providing effective stress and pain relief throughout it's entirety. Definitely one of my faves of the bunch.

Pink Goo - Sourced by Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Pink Goo Review Genetics : Pink Kush x Afghan Goo Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup Probably the best looking Pink variation I've ever reviewed to date and I've reviewed a ton. This gorgeous Pink Goo is manicured to perfection and frosted out to the 9's with a masterful cure to follow. Buds arrived on the large size, sporting a  super dense structure with an optimal moisture level and sticky to the touch texture. Gorgeous colours on her as well, showcasing a vibrant backdrop consisting of light greens and purples, highlighting a lush forest of wild orange hairs and snowy white trichomes. The nose on this Pink Goo is pungent yet sweet, combining notes of gassy kush with hints of rich earth followed by a light floral musk. Almost reminds me of the smell of freshly ground coffee at times. Flavours are gassy, earthy, and floral but much more rich and exotic tasting than the average gassy type kush if that makes sense. Extremely smooth and clean smoking, burning to a very light ash with a heavy resin ring to follow. Heavy hitter status, delivering a potent indica driven high that hits on every level. Starts out with a very floaty, weight lifted off the shoulders type of buzz, feeling completely calm and loose as stress and anxiety are pushed to the side. It's soon met with a spaced out head high and physically sedating body stone, launching one self into a complete state of blissful relaxation where the couch lock is imminent.

Garlic Sherbert - Sourced by Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Garlic Sherbert Review Genetics : GMO x Blue Sherbert Bred by : @inhousegenetics_official Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup My favourite of the bunch so far as I'm a sucker for a GMO cross and this beautiful GMO x Blue Sherbert did not disappoint. Cured and trimmed to perfection, showcasing lovely, pastel shades of green and purple that are further complemented by a multitude of glowing orange pistils and full juicy trichomes. Extremely dense and compact in structure, only needing a tiny bit to break up to a huge amount, basically rolling itself from being so sticky. The nose on this Garlic Sherbert is all fuel at first, the type that feels like you're getting buzzed on the smell alone. Super pungent and aggressive. Breaking it apart releases a funky, rubbery-garlic smell with hints of dank herbs on the tail end. Definitely a GMO dominant cut. The flavours are similar enough but not quite as funky as the nose. It's still GMO dominant for the most part with a spicy, gassy, garlic punch but is balanced out by a creamy sherb flavour that pleasantly lingers on the taste buds after exhaling. Very smooth while smoking but it certainly let's you know it has some kick as it goes straight to the chest. Joints burn to a light grey ash while producing a thick resin ring. Found the high to be really potent as I've come to except with GMO crosses. It starts off as extremely upbeat and social, noticing a boost in energy along a powerful, soaring head high. Just very mood enhancing in general. It begins to mellow out about halfway into it's duration, noticing a very obvious shift in effects as it becomes heavily relaxing and couch locking. Not an instant KO but the ingredients for an eventual nap are certainly there.

Pink Gas Mask - Sourced by Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Pink Gas Mask Review Genetics : Pink Kush x Gas Mask Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup Beautiful visuals on this Pink Gas Mask, bringing together the likes of Pink Kush and Gas Mask. Cured to perfection, equipped with a dense exterior and extremely sticky, greasy interior. Fresh, yet crisply snapping away at the main stem. A pale green surface gives way to patches of dark purple and copious amounts of long, outstretched hairs, followed by a significant dusting of frosty trichomes. The nose is all gassy fuel at first, paying homage to it's Gas Mask genetics before emitting aromas of dank earth and sour kush. Grinding it up brings out notes of floral pink kush as well, adding a little sweetness to the mix. The terps translate to taste in an expressed manner, delivering mouthwatering notes of diesel fuel and slightly sour, earthy kush, accompanied by sweet floral accents on exhale. Very smooth and clean smoking, burning to a light grey ash with a decently sized resin ring. Exactly the high I would expect from a heavily indica influenced cross. Powerfully relaxing and sedating, providing instant relief whether it be mentally or physically. It's also very euphoric and spacey, making everything feel slow motion like until finally giving in to it's narcotic, sleep induced couch lock. Great for a lazy day lounging at home and evenings as a sleep aid.

Organic Ooze - Sourced by Big Boss Farms - September 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

These shots aren't my favourite as there was too much cool light the day I took them. The first pic is the most accurate to real life. Genetics : Unknown Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup Decided to start off this new round of Big Boss reviews with this stunning looking Organic Ooze. Impeccable cure on the buds, leaving them feeling very sticky, greasy, and dense, crisply snapping off of the stems while still retaining a perfect amount of moisture. Beautiful visuals and colours, erupting with vibrant shades of green and purple, accompanied by a frosty layer of white trichomes and long, wispy orange hairs. Wonderfully trimmed as well. A deliciously pungent nose of sweet gas and fresh pine with aromas of dank earth on the tail end. I also get a cool, minty kind of smell that ties everything together. The taste is identical, leading with sweet gassy pine flavours followed by undertones of rich earth and a touch of minty freshness. Extremely clean and smooth for such a thick, milky smoke, making it so easy to rip a huge bowl without any heaviness on the lungs. Joints burn to a very light ash paired with a sizeable resin ring. The high checks off all the boxes for when wanting an effective and heavy indica as this Ooze packs quite the potent punch. A few tokes in and it instantly gets to work, pairing a dreamy euphoric stone with a limb to limb body buzz. Ultra relaxing and calming, especially once it's crippling couch lock kicks in. Perfect for late night medicating as smoking it during the day puts a noticeable halt in productivity and functionality.

Organic Grease - Big Boss Farms - August 2021

/u/thechronickid_00

Video : http://imgur.com/a/Bdwtjax Video 2 : http://imgur.com/a/FmCPCfo Organic Grease Genetics : Unknown Not sure about the lineage on this organic grease but the name is certainly fitting as these buds are greasy and sticky to the touch with a solid density to follow. Mainly green in colour with subtle splashes of purple throughout, accentuated by an oily layer of trichomes and a collection of copper-orange pistils. A very pungent nose on this Organic Grease, smelling of heavy, greasy gas with earthy, spicy undertones. Definitely what I'd refer to as a nose stinger. It perfectly translates to flavour with a lung punching, fuel dominant smoke, accompanied by an earth, spicy taste on the back end. It takes your breath away for a minute as the smoke is thick and unforgiving in a bong but significantly smoother in a joint but with a little throat scratchiness. Super slow and greasy burning, producing a light grey ash in the process. Heavy handed indica effects with a powerful head high to match, leaving me feeling extremely lazy and couch locked with no desire to do anything other than veg out into the couch. Long lasting as well so it's definitely one I would save for a late night smoke sesh as it's not a functional daytime strain in the slightest. Flower provided for an honest review
