Platinum Gas Mask Review Genetics : Platinum Kush x Gas Mask Sourced by : @bigbossrsvp @bigbosscomicsgroup One of my favourites out of the bunch so far, this Platinum Gas Mask is a cross between Platinum Kush and Gas Mask. The nugs are super greasy and sticky with an excellent cure to match, leaving the buds feeling dense on the outside but gooey within while still crisply snapping apart from the stem. Neatly trimmed as well, allowing it's heavily frosted forest green coat to show, followed by purple and orange accents. The nose seems to be dominated by the Gas Mask in it's lineage, producing dank aromas of earth and fuel with a subtle sweetness from the cherry pie and a faint hint of skunk. It's flavours are also within the same spectrum, providing an extremely smooth gassy smoke with undertones of earth and skunk but without the sweetness. Bit of a darker grey ash on this one but very greasy burning without any impact on flavour or smoothness. Love the high on this one as it's a good ol fashion, all out indica stone. Beginning with an intense head high that kicks in a few minutes after smoking, almost feeling overpowering as it's extremely spacey and unfocused. It begins to shift into more of a physical high further down the road with calming heady sensations that are accompanied by a sedating body buzz. Very potent and long lasting as well, proving to be an effective evening strain. Flower was provided for an honest review

An appearance that is dominantly green in colour, varying from light to forest, followed by hints of violet throughout as well as a fair share of burnt orange pistils and frosty trichomes. Tightly trimmed and very well cured. Lingering, room filling aromas of dank gassy kush with those traditional sweet floral pink terps in the mix. They easily translate over to taste in a prominent fashion, offering a full bodied smoke that carries over flavours of sweet gassy kush with spicy and floral undertones, burning with a slick grease ring and salt n pepper ash. Very smooth in either bong or joint. The high is exactly what I've come to expect from a pink variant. Heavily relaxing and euphoric, allowing one to feel loose and uplifted while stress and physical pain are put on hold, pulling one into an all out couch-lock with a short window into a sleep induced sedation. Perfect for hanging up the boots and kicking back on those slow days and late nights as it's potent and long lasting without much functionality at all. Flower was provided for reviewing purposes. A heavy indica that I believe to be a cross of Chemdawg, Lemon Thai, and Hindu Kush. The buds are heavily greasy and sticky with a great cure and trim to follow, allowing it's jagged structure to pop alongside a bed of wild orange pistils and snow white trichomes. The buds themselves are comprised of pale faded greens and dark toned purples, making for quite the attractive appearance. The nose on this Blue Octane is pungent and loud, stinking of benzene and kush with hints of spice, bringing on a bit of a dizziness after a long sniff. The flavours pack the same characteristics, dominating the pallet with heavy notes of fuel and spicy kush, remaining surprisingly smooth for how thick and robust the smoke is. Joints burn to a light salt and pepper coloured ash that is accompanied by a hefty oil ring. A heavy and long lasting high with obvious indica dominant effects that are best suited for evening use unless you don't mind being in a lazy, hazy, slow motion state for the majority of the day. Super relaxing, sedating, and euphoric, all leading to an unavoidable couch lock while enjoying a very dreamy, zoned out head high. Leave it to Big Boss to have their indicas on point and this Blue Octane is no exception. Flower provided for reviewing purposes. These are my honest opinions

Pink Azul - Big Boss Farms // April 2020

Smaller, more aggressive foxtails decorate the length of the flower similar to the shape of a cartoon Christmas tree - coming together to form a singular crown at the apex, “reaching out” if you will. The overall density of this flower will prove a formidable grinder foe, with a sticky and greasy texture just oozing with essential oils. Seriously, these heads are fucking packed to the brim and garnish even the sugar leaves left behind from a beautiful hand trim. A healthy presence of vibrant orange pistils speaks to the level of care that this plant received every step of the way and they do a great job at separating the varying shades of greens as we don’t see much anthocyanin production here (and that’s just fine). A complete and robust set of terpenes that speaks volumes is undeniably present and isn’t particularly dominated by one aroma; but by many, all individually expressed to their fullest. I’ll start with the notable saccharine side of this powerhouse, lending a balance to the more contentious odours of sharp gasoline, musk and spice. Similar to some pink crosses, this batch carries sweet, candy and floral notes that simply can’t be resisted in unison with the more pungent Kush fragrances. All of these come together as a mouth tingling sensation that will have you practically salivating off a dry pull from your joint that was so sticky it rolled itself. Pink Azul bridges the gap between aroma and flavour with terpenes so present they are practically yelling at you. Every complex scent is translated to taste in perfect harmony with a smooth smoke that brings with it potency levels not to be taken lightly. Starting as a euphoric brush behind the eyes and on the tops of my limbs, the background noise of pleasantry slowly built itself into a crescendo of intoxication that could be felt at every level of my being, physical and mental. This was truly appreciated as someone who has a higher tolerance than most. Also, this is April 2021. Sorry about that in the title.

Pink Azul Pink Kush x Unknown pheno Again the packaging is really neat on these definetly something that stands out. Love the retro comics grimmy look and the Fire Demons hatching instructions in the back real nice. This flower came in as one big boulder, the structure is funky with little foxtail busting all over the bud and healty pistils. Its crazy dense near the tip compare to how it looks, hard to pull apart for shots, super sticky and felt really fresh. The pack wasnt squished over the buds it ad plenty of air and room really help the overall look. Packed in big milky heads in and out made it stick like crazy when grinded, it super easy to roll. A sweet earthy gassy nose, its Pink driven but it also has a bit of a funk to it, once grinded theres a musky side and you get floral/rose like fragrance. All transfered well to the taste with the gassy earthy side in front and musky floral exhale. It burns super slow and just keeps producing a thick heavy smoke that expends in the lungs i barely could finish normal sized bowls with the ammount of smoke. Greased up joints after a couple drag and leaves a light gray ash with couple darker specs. Nice warming body buzz with an intense heady side, gave me small itchy eyes. Its intense and long lasting but didnt knock me out. Id still keep it for evening for the most as it made me a bit sluggish and spacey good to game and lay back.

Tahoe OG Shatter Dr Sauce Boss. Came in a super slick grimmy graphic pack again really digging the look of those. The shatter itself was a glassy super light ambered in color. Its easy to handle on bigger piece the texture is glass like brittle and easy to snap. Stable at room temp and super clean looking. Mostly muted out of the pack. It had a better flavor then nose, i find usual with glassy shatter. A bit of a spicyish peppery smoke. Melted nicely and left a easy to clean residue. The effects are there but its not as OG like as i would have expected or maybe more hoped haha. Still a nice little buzz that lingers on for a while mostly felt balanced to me great mid day and so on.

Strain - Pink Azul Visual/Texture - the battle began when I first tried unleashing this big beast from its mylar home. I fought not only against the massive sized seven gram structure but also the sticky resin that seemed to be containing this unit inside. A green shading consisting of minty, emerald, and olive hues, with some dark blackish purple accents in portions. Thin lengthy fire orange pistils branching outwards throughout the entire mass, and a healthy layer of frosted trichomes Scent - once given the chance to emit its presence, the Pink Azul did just that. Exposing its pungent gas infested floral fragrance seep forth to the outside (of the mylar) world. Mostly being masked by the floral gas, there is also subtle notes of sweet herbal earthiness mixed within the powerful terpenes being driven forth Smoke - the transition of its scent carrying over to taste was accurately displayed with each inhale. Taking in the floral fueled gas, tied together with the sweet earthy herbs, and the exhale of earthiness with floral herbs faded but still existing. Ash on the lighter grey side with peppering through out, and an oil ring that surfaced a couple hoots into the joint High - the high comes on fairly quickly with your eyes being the first to get impacted by additional heaviness. Relaxation fills your body, but your head goes a different direction being enhanced by euphoria, and cerebral enhancements. Propelling yourself into a happy place, the Pink Azul is capable of altering your mood even a few puffs in. With your body feeling more immobile, and your mind racing I find this to be ideal for twisting up at the end of the work day or for a night time twist up

Pink Azul is the strain this time around and she's an incredibly sticky, greasy, gooey one. Good luck trying to break it up by hand as it'll just end up clumping up into little balls. Even gave my brilliant cut a run for it's money as it has that gummy type of texture. It appears fluffy on first glance due it's outstretched hairs and jagged edges but is actually quite dense. Mainly of a forest green appearance but there's also lighter greens and dark traces of purple throughout, followed by a resinous, glue like layer of trichomes and wild, red-orange pistils. Cured to the 9's. Now you can definitely recognize many pink qualities in the nose and taste but there are also other characteristics to it. Not sure on the lineage but it reminds me of a pink x death bubba cross or something along those lines. Pungent and gassy, producing aromas and flavours of dank earth and sweet vanilla with woodsy, musky, perfumey undertones. This is definitely joint weed due to it's very sticky nature as it takes a while to roast a bowl and you lose a lot of the flavour in the process. Joints produce a thick but smooth smoke, leaving behind a large oil ring and salt and pepper ash while burning quite slow. It's actually one of those ashes that seem to burn a little darker on the outside with a whiter center to be more specific. Listed as a sativa dominant but I'd have to disagree with that as you can just tell this strain screams indica based on it's terpene profile alone. And then comes the high which is further proof. It didn't make me tired or sleepy, not many strains do these days, but it left me with a powerful head and body stone that seemed to last quite a long time, providing a stress free, euphoria driven high. Heavily relaxing but in a calming, tranquil sense as it just made me want to kick back and take er' easy all day.
