First time trying this wicked looking strain and I can easily say it stands out from all the other lemon strains I've typically had. A cross of Lemon Haze x Wonkstar, this flower demonstrates some beautiful qualities. The appeal for one is lovely, with perfectly cured nugs that display a mix of indigo purples and light greens, all overshadowed by sheer amounts of frosty trichomes and glowing orange pistils. Fluffy in appearance but the buds are actually quite firm, breaking up beautifully with an ideal stickiness. The aroma borderlines a lemon soda or candy as it delivers strong notes of sweet and sour candied lemons followed by soft herbal accents. It translates fairly well to the taste with some added peppering in the mix and offers a tasty lemon zest freshness on exhale. A little heavy on the lungs- as is the case for the majority of haze related strains, though very clean burning as it produces a light coloured ash. The effects are sativa dominant, potent, and long lasting, beginning with an uplifted cerebral stone, leaving you slightly spaced out yet focused when you want to be. It's also extremely social, encouraging conversation. The relaxing qualities follow soon after, providing a calming and easy going buzz that wards off any anxiety or stress. There were some lighter green leaves and there was lots of sugary crystal all over and throughout. It had a very stiff crystallized structure. Nose: I got a nose that was similar to a Black Diamond. It was very heavy, hashy and musky. There was also some pine and a little bit of sweetness as well though. Cut/Roll/Grind: It was easy to cut and to grind. It didn’t look sticky to me but it was a little bit sticky. Taste: It was also a heavy taste. I still got that flavour, similar to Black Diamond. I got the pine and the bit of sweetness as well. Very pungent Lemon smell with a bit of a sour kick. The visuals on this doesnt dissapoint either, long skinny buds with dark and light green, and orangey hairs poking out. Loads of crystal on it. Roll/grind: this stuff busts up nice and big, definitely on the fluffy side as when you roll it that fluff is gonna compact down quite a bit, the moisture level is pretty much bang on the way I like it, bit of stickyness going on. Smoke/Taste: The taste on this is amazing, which isnt surprising given how the smell punched me in the face. It has a lemony sour taste, the sour comes out more in the taste for sure. it has a nice even white ash on it, and seemed to burn forever. Potency: Nice and heady high on this with a bit of weight on my eyelids, but not a couch lock high at all, Im usually a Indica leaning smoker when it comes to hybrids, but i actually really enjoyed the high on this, took the kids out for a walk after and enjoyed the sunshine.
