Emerald Castle Med April 2018 (Pink Diablo Kush / SGE Rockstar)

Ordering & Pricing: Nothing different for ordering than other online stores.. Pricing seems to be a bit under what I've seen with other sites. Keep in mind I only shop for buds tho. Ounces regularly go from $200-$195 however they often have a sale that brings this down 25%-30% Communication: Good communication on both orders. Haven't heard anything but good things regarding their Customer Service which brought me back for order #2. Packaging: No changes noted from my order last year. Inside a yellow bubble mailer is a white box with logo (sealed in plastic wrapper). I like this as you can tell if the contents have been opened or not. Inside the box the buds are vacsealed. This seems a little overkill to me as the outside is already sealed but just my 2 cents. I've tried Rockstar before but this one I felt was on the heavier end in terms of the high. I was fairly couchlocked during the duration of the high so definitely something I'd leave for when I have absolutely nothing to do. Buds were dense and on the medium - bigger size. Buds were small to medium sized and had an amazing smell. Smoke was smooth and felt Sativa-like qualities with this one for the most part. Buds were super sticky and dense. Emerald Castle Medicinal March 2018 (Red Congo/GSC Extreme)

MOM Name: Emerald Castle Medicinal Overall rating out of 10: 9 Sign Up: Simple process on website. To be honest, I can't remember right now if I had to upload ID or not. Ordering & Pricing: Ordering is as easy as any other site. Pricing seems about average, maybe a little better. Most ounces seem to go for around $160 - $200. Communication: No communication necessary for my order, but I will give them points for emailing customers every time they have a deal. I always feel like I'm the first to know about their deals. Packaging:I've deleted the pictures I took of the packaging unfortunately, but the actual bubble mailer was completely torn open across the top, almost as you'd open it yourself to get the product out. It was wrapped in a CP plastic bag with the 'Sorry your mail ended up like this' sort of message. I was originally a little paranoid about this, but after calming down I'm sure it was just caught in a machine during shipping or something. The contents inside were untouched. Vac-seal surrounding the white box with the ECM logo. No smell or indication of contents. There were two very large buds in my oz, the rest were generally medium with very few small. https://i.imgur.com/sbZZvDP.jpg This gives a better example of the average look of the buds. At first I thought this RC was a little too leafy, and overall that does take away from the bag appeal. However, they're also quite sticky and have that nice RC smell which seems to get a little stronger over time. Definitely has that classic RC high, just as, if not more potent than most I've had. Red Congo is my favorite strain, and I was quite happy with this. Really nice colors. Basically no nose on this, and the taste isn't too noticeable either. However, it is a nice smooth smoke with a really nice hybrid high. Personally, I divide my hybrid highs into two categories - sometimes you'll get the sativa, then the indica later, and sometimes you get an overall mix of the two. This to me is the latter. It's a nice relaxed mellow buzz without being too mellow or tiring. Despite the lack of terps, I do find myself going back to this over and over again. Really happy overall (again despite the lack of nose) and all my friends seem to be fans of this one. Incentive for Customers: I originally stocked my cart because they were having a 25% off sale to mark the beginning of spring (or lack thereof - code was westillcold). I did a quick search before checking out and immediately found a leafly coupon code for 35% off. I won't lie, I almost felt bad using it - like I was cheating, but in the end I'm so happy with the deal I got. I got both of these for $231 shipped (RC is normally $195, GSCE $160). Incentive for Review: None Notes: I had been watching ECM for a while and had never really seen any reason to avoid them. This deal was my excuse to give them a try, and I'm glad I did. Both strains I tried lose points for superficial reasons (RC was a little leafy, GSCE lacks terps), but make up for it in actual smoke and high. Again, overall I'm very happy, and if these guys continue to have great deals like this, I'll be coming back 100% for sure. P.S. The sun was a little bright when I took these pics, so they're a little whitewashed, but I think you should still be able to get a good idea of what these buds look like.

Apologize if the picture isn't the best, first time poster here. Looking to get better at my picture taking though. What can I say about this stuff, the picture really does justice. Nice heavy heady smoke, for sure a nice indica. Got this on sale for 140oz, normally 200/oz so it felt like a steal! Great packaging and communication from these guys, excellent product to of course. Got a free gram of red congo with my order that was excellent as a nice sativa change (Used to and prefer indicas).

Purple GRIZZLY Kush Review - Emerald Castle - Jan/18

First impression: Opening the box my eyes were locked on the purple grizzly as it stood right out. Was excited to roll this to try it or was it just an eye appealing bud. Visual: Wow.. Very interesting. Deep deep purple with the orange hairs. Seen this color before but the smoke wasnt up to par. 4.6/5 Bud Density: Nice tight nugs fairly well trimmed. Cured quite well. 4/5 Aroma: Dank kush with a hint of something sweet.. Can't quite name the scent but it is smells great. 4/5 - 4.6/5 When lit Taste: Awesome! Strong kush taste with a side of sweet and a hint of grape.. Instantly stunk up the house like a grizzly crashing threw the rooms. 4/5 The High: Was a much heavier hit then I was expecting.. Semi couch locked and smiling 4.2/5 Overall: For something interesting but still smokable with a heavy high this is it. Smells strong tastes strong ans hits hard. I love it. Not to mention how visually pleasing it is. Would buy again! 4.2/5

Disclaimer: I received these buds for free in exchange for the photos. So I probably got a bit over a half ounce in total. I e-mailed a lot of the MoMs on the list offering to do photos in exchange for free bud. I had a few who were interested, but Emerald were the first to actually send me something in the mail. I'm not going to review the buds because I didn't pay for them and I haven't even sampled them all yet. So I will leave the reviews up to other people who have ordered these strains. Lovin this! I have tried the Red Congo from bcmedichronic, and while that was great, quite a bit better! Insanely sticky/sappy, smells and tastes amazing. Stunk up my house when I un-packaged it. Very impressed. Great quality for the price!

Feel: Sticky and fairly dense buds. Nose: Smells spicy and very pungent. Taste: Vaped in my Boundless CFV, tastes a lot like it smells, hard to describe right now cause this shit is so fire. Summary: This shit is so amazing for $150 definitely picking up more from this place. I feel like this is a hidden gem.

I was really pleasantly surprised with the potency on this one given its scragglyish look and budget price, but it’s honestly great. Nice heavy indica effect, has that relaxed, tingly feel I look for with my indica dominant strains, the nose is really really pungent, spicy with a little tiny bit of lemon, even after being dried out with Canada post delays and -40 weather it was still really strong when opening the bag. The taste is similar. It is more potent in effect and flavour/nose than their Purple Grizzly, but not nearly as pretty.
