frost factory gmo cookies looks absolutly insane, chunky dense nugs that are just caked in trichomes with dark purple and green all through it and orange hairs everywhere. classic gmo smell and taste right away, super funky gassy and dank. hits heavy asf too, had me in a strong body high for hours until i eventually just passed out. listed as a hybrid but this shit feels super heavy and is amazing for nighttime, definetly one of my favourites. bag appeal / looks: 10/10 smell: 10/10 taste: 8.9/10 smoke: 7.5/10 overall: 9.1/10 would buy over and over again

I purchased this HP along with Smashberry Fumez from Frost Factory via the Burn List site. This was the most expensive strain on the menu and advertised as a true quad. It’s unreal! Probably the best buds I’ve purchased in years. Normally I go for more exotic strains but it’s nice to have a real classic, dank AF strain in the rotation. Flavour and aroma wise it’s a classic kush, earthy and piney. The cure is on point, burns perfect. I don’t want to sound over enthusiastic but this really is some damn good weed. Effects are obvious for a pink strain, heavy stone, munchies and pretty sleepy after about half an hour.

I purchased this HP along with Pink Bubba from Frost Factory via the Burn List site. I’ll do a second post on the Pink Bubba. I couldn’t be happier with this strain. It’s got big Berry and gas terps as soon as you open the bag and it stinks up the entire room. Fat buds and cured well. The berries and gas come through in the smoke as well. The high is heavy, and starts out with a happy buzz. I was giggly and energetic but about 45 minutes after I was deeply stoned and had pretty bad dry mouth. I would order this again 100%

Another group buy with some friends for April and we’re all super impressed with this round. We grabbed an HP of Lemon Cherry Gelato LSO, Purple Space Cookies and Greasy Runtz The Lemon Cherry smells unreal, like a cherry turnover. Solid sized buds that are heavy and firm with purple hues at the stem. Effects are classic for a hybrid, nice thick smoke that lingers in your mouth. I want to eat the buds when I open the bag. 9/10 for this one and would definitely buy it again.

I did a group buy with some friends for a few half pounds of buds. We’ve been doing this once a month and so we’re all really happy with the buds and service from Frost Factory.  In February we grabbed 3 HP’s. Stripper Glitter, Grape Gas and Super Sauce. At first the Stripper Glitter was pretty underwhelming when I first opened the bag. The buds were frosty but there wasn’t much smell there at all. Turns out the bag just needed a little air and some fluffing because after a few hours some serious gas and berry terps came out. It might have been vac sealed too tightly?  Effects are heavy but not a total knockout. Still good for daytime smoking.  For our group we’re giving this one an 8/10. 

This is the first time I’ve ever tried Detroit Runtz. I’ve always reply liked the Runtz strain especially from my buddies at Strains Limited so I was excited to see this cross available. It has a beauty smell when I opened the tuna can, I was met with a candy smell initially but, as I cracked the bud open I got a loud pungent gas ⛽️ smell which I was pleasantly excited to get. The buds are a mix of large and medium sizes and are pretty tight when you squeeze them but, they still have a bit off fluffiness too ( it’s a good mix in my opinion). The nugs have lots of purples throughout and some lighter lime and darker army green colours. The bud definitely glistens from all the trichomes, it’s very nice visual to this stuff. Let’s get to the important part the burn and the effects. First puff inhale I got a little sweet candy profile but as the smoke settles and I held it in the gas, earthy, musky really over powered and came through! The exhale I can describe was what I think was pepper that comes from the caryophyllene terpene and some sweet notes which I believe to be from the pancake genetics. I didn’t get any citrus from the limonene terpene though. The three main terps are caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene, I definitely did taste the musky earthy flavour from the myrcene as mentioned in the inhale. I love candy, sweet, gassy strains so this one is right up my alley. The burn was a touch dark, more on the salt and pepper side but no issues with the joint burning or going out, I just like a more white ash but that’s just me, as long as it’s not straight black and doesn’t burn I’m okay. I smoked the the whole 0.7 g joint and after the first two puffs I could feel the kick to it, quite relaxing but happy and giddy as the effects set in. I found myself able to chill and not drift off into la la land like some strains can cause, that’s probably because of the balanced hybrid genetics of runtz and pancakes as the parents. The effects lasted about 1.5 hrs and then I got quite tired but, mind you it was 11:45pm that time and I’m in my 40s. From Frost Factory this one and Fight Club have been my favourites and if you can find either I recommend getting this because they tend to go quick. Definitely a very well done strain and I should have got more while I could. Bag appeal / appearance : 8 / 10 Nose / smell: 9.1 / 10 Taste / Flavour: 8.5 / 10 Effects: 8.4 / 10 Value: 8.7 / 10 Overall : 42.7 / 50

This stuff has a deep funk. Pungent is the best description I think of. Piney, some lemon but also a punch of spice like a black pepper. The nugs are medium size nothing huge which is fine but, they are solid, lime green, lighter orange hairs and pretty coated in frost, it’s appealing to the eye. I was watching the Blur Jays WS game 4 vs the LA Dodgers and I was quite anxious because the magnitude of the game. Well this stuff put my head at ease. She has a slat n pepper ash, I was hoping for a cleaner burn but, all in all it was pretty good. 👍. My first puff I tasted that citrus that came through in the nose and it faded into an earthy funk which I love since I’m not an over powering citrus flavour lover. The smoke is smooth and on the thicker side, I did cough a bit but probably because I hack darts lol. The exhale coated my mouth in that earthy pungent funk and personally I got what I believe to be a grapefruit terpene but, I didn’t get the peppery back end like the nose suggested to me. I was really hoping the spice came through a bit more. Not a bad flav profile by any means though, quite enjoyable. I smoked 3/4 of a 1g joint and had to put it out because I was quite sedated and had to stay up for this epic ball game for my Blue Jays. I found right away I felt the effects in my eyes and a bit of cerebral psychedelic buzz but it quickly faded into me being couch locked and clear minded. It didn’t give me the severe munchies the Greasy Death Bubba did, it was more of a sedative relaxing effect that I could see myself using for stress/ anxiety. I’d have to say it’s a pretty darn good smoke and I could see myself using it again and again. I’ve always been a fan of the breath strains and this is no exception. I’ve been getting the Frost Factory buds for the last few months and I have no reason to switch if they keep delivering heat !! Upon opening the tuna can I’m smacked with a pungent earthy fuel nose and as that settles I’m also met with a spicy peppery nose, very unique in my opinion. I’ve never had Greasy Death Bubba before so I didn’t know what to expect but, I’m very pleased as I love the gassy kush strains. The buds are pretty large in size, solid but also a little squish which I think speaks to the stickiness of the flower. I rolled these up in Black Raw 1 1/4 papers. She lights up great, no issue. My first puff inhale is earthy, pungent kush just like nose would suggest but, I also get a sweet vanilla. The exhale coats my mouth in fuel and leaves that taste lingering for a good 5-10 mins even after the joint. Let me tell You this stuff gave me the munchies super bad! The effects of the stone left me hungry and full of couch lock. I was sedated and drifted off into thought while simply trying to watch tv. Great indica buzz in my opinion. The stone lasted a good while too which is important because nobody like weed that hits and then leaves you wanting more and more because it doesn’t last. All in all I really enjoy this flower and I think it’s a keeper for sure!! I think I’d have to say I’d rebuy this again for 14g bag it’s a great value for premium quads Bag appeal / appearance : 8.1/10 Nose /smell : 7.2/10 Taste / flavour : 8.7/10 Effects: 7.5/10 Value: 7/10 Overall : 38.5/50
