Beautiful nugs, super caked with a gorgeous array of colours. Not much of a nose out of the bag, it’s a very faint herbal aroma; not super impressive. This doesn’t change even once busted up which makes it even less impressive. However, one aspect that shines is the smoke. It’s superbly clean which in my opinion almost makes up for the lack of terps. Potency is fairly strong. A bit racy at first but slowly settles into a nice relaxing effect. Value: 8/10 Quality: 8/10

Black Garlic (Garlic Nut (butter breath?) × Black Cherry Punch #7. So I really had a hard time finding much on the lineage history of this flower. I think Garlic Nut has had its name rendered down. This is definitely an odd flower in my opinion. It's nose is very mellow. Nutty and... I have to say it, cardboard box smelling. That smell honestly reminds me of 2010 off the street Hydro. Or even Black River*(that may not be the name) a mom I used briefly a few years ago. The look of this flower is stunning, quite small but stunning. I assume this plant doesn't grow huge buds. Full of greens and purple and white trichs all over and throughout. Smoking this flower in traditional white Zigs, I had a fully even burn. Ash was clean. Bong rips never give me white ash because its a bong and I hoover like it's my last pull ever. The smoke tastes of creamy hazelnuts, earth and maybe the slightest bit of blueberry(if you've tried a true Blueberry strain) I may even relate the taste to mendo breath again in the slightest "breath" way. I find this strain to pair well with Tea or a Cappacino as a wake up. The High is definitely on point. Maybe a 60/40 leaning more indica. But fairly well balanced. I burn this in the morning and day. To be fair I constantly smoke indica heavy strains. It's definitely a pleasant sense of euphoria(head high)and stoned. I have purchased from Harmony long ago and ceased to try them again due to the flowers always having seeds. But....after seeing that eye candy flower recently.. I had to pull the trigger and give them another shot. Partly due to the fact that every review posted on here for Black Garlic by same grower, didn't mention seeds. Well low and behold... It's not riddled. My very first nug/doob when I got this Nov 26ish I popped a seed(nice mature seed) on the first break to get it in my grinder.. lol I chucked it and cursed and laughed.. then I found a preme seed and checked a bunch of nugs.. couldn't find another. At that point I was pissed cuz I would've kept that one seed if there were no more. (Plants will sometimes try and reproduce with a single seed here and there, in my experience those are the keepers usually* most often female). So today I broke out the BG for tea this morning and you will see my last two pics are of my first j and second j. 2 for 2. So it's definitely not a AAAA in my opinion. Not with the seeds. But if you don't mind the taste/smell of burning pot seeds. Or dissecting your bud before you grind. It may be a AAA+ I hate seeds and this isn't that bad. But they are there, very hard to find.. I hate the sound in the grinder as much as I hate the taste...lol Flower Rating = 6.0 (seeded) It'd score a high 7 or even 8 if it were seedless. Kind of a bummer ?

BCCannCo - Harmony Collective: Mellonheadz (535) - Early October

The smell on this strain was strong and so wonderful, wholesome, and pretty? Mellon’s the word that comes to mind but I can’t tell if that’s placebo. Regadles, this might be on of my favourite smelling and tasting strains so far. The photo doesn’t do justice for how fuzzy and filled with trichomes were, the bud was dense and slightly sticky. And some of the trichomes would flick off when you break a dug. The major downside has to be the high though. My preference is potency while this gives a a more mellow relaxed high, great for an evening off at a sunset or something. Smell:10/10, Taste:8/10, High: 6.5/10

The smell on this strain was strong and so wonderful, wholesome, and pretty? Mellon’s the word that comes to mind but I can’t tell if that’s placebo. Regadles, this might be on of my favourite smelling and tasting strains so far. The photo doesn’t do justice for how fuzzy and filled with trichomes were, the bud was dense and slightly sticky. BCCannCo - Harmony Collective: Zkittles Cake (Seeded) - Late October

Caption is Early November The zkitlles had a slight amount of that lovely harmony collective smell, had to describe but like fresh and slightly mellony. The taste and smoke was also great, and the high was pretty mediocre. Though I do also have a pretty high tolerance. The seeds were a huge turn off, made it a hassle to do break apart. This wasn’t incentivized so not too much detail, but over all a 7/10 strain. Main concern (and applies to most moms) is pricing, black market weed meets potency for value, but lacks the taste and care moms have. Wish those gaps close closer together.

Black Garlic- The Harmony Collective- November 2021

Medium to large sized pillowy structured buds with nice snappy exterior and good bounce back against pressure, all around decent moisture level. Deep purple to black backgrounds with bright orange pistils and thick matting of resin make for mouthwatering bag appeal. Close-ups show long milky stalks with well balanced maturity on the heads. Mainly cloudy with some clear and amber. Smells were surprising to me considering a name in luding the garlic prefix. not foul or offensive in anyway. Instead I was met with a soft sweet berry, and creamy nutty smell. Burned evenly and effortlessly with a salt and pepper ash. Smooth smoke with sweet earthy/nutty tastes with a mild berry undertone. Found this one to be a creeper as effects slowly progressed in the noggin with a Stoney buzz that was soon met with a relaxing bodyload in the limbs and muscles. Fairly balanced hybrid but I'll be saving it for the evening as it seemed to sap my energy and leave me feeling fairly lazy and lethargic.

Black Garlic Review Genetics : Garlic Nut Butter Breath x Black Sugar Breath Cultivated by : @harmonycollective123 Sourced by : @bccannco No shortness of bag appeal here as this Black Garlic is as flashy as they come. First thing noticed is how ludicrously caked the buds are, giving the surface a white/silvery sheen, nearly drowning out it's pale green and violet appearance. Fresh, sticky cure, followed by a careful hand trim and firm density. I thought this was Black Garlic from Oni seeds which is GMO x Sour Dubb but recently found out it's Harmony's Garlic Nut Butter Breath x their Black Sugar Breath. A little misleading but now that I know it's lineage I could easily see the similarities and makes sense to why there is no actual garlic cookie influence whatsoever. You can't mistake those GMO terps. Instead it's sugary, sweet, and creamy in both nose and taste followed by rich nutty, herbal undertones. It's actually quite a wonderful profile altogether. Joints burn to a fluffy light coloured ash while greasing up decently. Pretty much a very balanced hybrid with the slightest indica influence. A solid mix of mental and physical effects, delivering a euphoric, care free head high and soothing, calming body buzz. Not enough to be considered heavy or sedating but it certainly helps out with feeling relaxed and easy going. I can smoke on this one all day as it's just so good and doesn't slow me down much, although it could leave those with a lower tolerance a little lazy afterwards.

Organic Wedding Cake BX1 Review Cultivated by : @harmonycollective123 Sourced by : @bccannco You never forget some of your original favourites and that's what Wedding Cake is for me. I've had this Wedding Cake BX1 from Harmony Collective a while back but overall I think it's vastly improved. Gorgeous, dense, sticky buds. Super caked and colourful, showcasing shades of forest green and purple accompanied by an assortment of blood-orange pistils and snowy white crystals. Trim and cure are right on point. Sweet, creamy, sugary, wedding cake aromas with hints of vanilla. Also an underlying earthy dankness. I'll never get tired of this profile. They translate to flavour but in a milder fashion, not as cakey more so than earthy, sweet, and herbal while picking up on the odd cakey nuance here and there. Nice and smooth smoking through either bong or j, burning with a salt n' pepper ash and fair sized resin ring. Always found Wedding Cakes to have a balanced high for the most part but considering this is a Wedding Cake back-cross it feels a little heavier than usual. Very relaxing, calming, laid back high with a dash of euphoria. Easily can feel couch locking after a long day and in larger amounts but not necessarily a KO, comfortably coasting throughout the evening.
