Value 9/10 Quality 9.5/10 ​ I saw how great all the reviews are for High Grade Aid and especially the Red Congo cultivar. Red Congo is already one of my all time faves so I didn't need any convincing. I have to say I agree with other posts that these guys have an in with Canada post because I ordered Monday and was smoking it by lunch on Wednesday in Ontario. It was packaged in a nice small box, in a ziplock type bag with a moisture package, standard stuff. Classic Red Congo smell out of the bag, if your a fan or have had it before then you know there is no mistaking that smell, some say turnip smell but I'm not a turnip guy so I couldn't tell ya. Looks amazing, pictures especially mine do not do this bud any justice. It smoked beautifully and again the classic red congo taste, salt and pepper ash. I went back to work after smoking and I have been working my ass off, except for writing this review, pure energy and fun high, kudos to HGA, I will be coming back for sure!

as soon as i opened the bag this pungent, sweet minty flavour hit my nose. it's honestly kinda hard to describe but i can't stop opening the jar to smell it lol. white ash, clean high and it's really smooth. first order from HGA and i can only say how impressed i am. super fast shipping (i actually wanted to add onto my order a few hrs after i placed it but it had already gone out) and good cs. for the deals they're running this is a steal, especially with the $25 ref coupon. Smoked a joint and that stunk up my backyard pretty bad in a good way. **Appearance: A** This sale was on for small nugs so I expected to receive a lot of .5 - 1g buds but I was honestly pretty impressed. I got 4-5 buds over 2g and one really solid top that I'm looking forward to blazing up. Some nugs are a bit stretchy but the manicure is very nice and the trichomes are insane. Super sticky buds and well cured; the stems snapped clean but the buds weren't crumbling apart. **Taste: A** Smooth smoke. Sweet and fragrant on the inhale, nice gas/diesel taste on the exhale. Burned very clean down to the roach, super white ashes. **Buzz: A+** Damn, this shit hits hard. I'd been on a bit of a tolerance break the past few days and this might not have been the best thing to smoke. But it was pretty awesome. I had a smile plastered on my face and felt energetic enough to go play basketball although couldn't hit a damn shot lol. Very giggly weed that progressed into a body stone, leaving me sleepy and with the munchies.

Red Congo - HGA - Late May ‘20

I’ve seen a lot of HGA love so let me jump on the bandwagon. Last time I grabbed Red Congo was from AC about an year ago. The nose and trim on this grab from HGA was even better than the last time I tried it. Unreal nose, nugs look better in person than I can pick up on camera (I tried though, haha). The high is super clear and I had literally no burnout. White/grey pepper Ashe, with a clean smoke, not harsh at all. I’m glad I grab two ounces of this guy, might be my favourite sativa pickup I’ve had of late. Also came with a $25 discount code which helped out with the price. DM me if you’d like one! Sticky, well trimmed medium sized buds. Strong zesty, citrus, cheesy smell. Smell translates nicely to a citrusy/sweet light smoke. Pretty smooth, no real harshness, coughs etc. Burns salt and pepper. Hits fairly quickly with mental stimulation and a “wanna get shit done” attitude washed over me. Was awesome to smoke before yard work Recently got some “red Congo” from boxed buds - after having this, I’m pretty sure theirs wasn’t real RC. Great buy
