What can I say that hasn't already been said about the now famously popular Death Chocolate Mousse by High Grade Aid?! This batch is great - sticky, gassy, and fresh. Dank nose. Medium sized buds (and a few small) that are sticky to the touch and dense in weight. Dark purple hues with red hairs are prominent.The bag appeal (could care less) is a tad scraggly, but it's priced to sell. The smoke is super smooth in a joint, producing a beautiful white ash. No harshness. Easily can see why this is a lot of tokers favorite strain these days. It's one of mine as well. IMO: It's as close to the CVL heydays as we are gonna get. The smell of the smoke is over the top greatness. Sweet, doughy, earthy. I'm about to grab my third zip of this batch after this review. Stoner Translation: You know that shit when you toke up and leave the room to get some munchies and come back to that thick, smokey sweetness permeating the air?! Well, this is that shit!

Bought this mid February during 30% off sale, finally getting around to reviewing it. Definitely well grown and cured cannabis. Nice big dense buds, moisture is on point and the perfect stickyness to roll joints with. Most buds were between 1-3g, nothing under 0.5g. Slightly citrusy, earthy, herbal aroma, with a hint of that old school kush smell. Not terribly strong smelling, but it definitely has a nice odor going. Tastes mostly earthy in a joint, I don't really get any citrus notes. Burns white ash. Fairly mild potency, but a decent hybrid high if I smoke enough. My reference point for a quad violator is Theravadas award winning cut that was going around maybe 3 or so years ago. Being rated as AAA+, I figured this would be pretty close to that. It's not. The nose on this is quite muted compared to Theravadas, and the potency is miles lower. The terp profile is also quite different, but I can't really fault them there. I'm quite disappointed in that, but I usually am when purchasing violator, since any other I've purchased in the last couple years is drastically different than the one from Theravada. All in all, pretty good buy for the price ($154/oz). Would purchase again. Quality: 6.5/10 Value: 8/10

Gonna keep it short and sweet as not much to say. Arrived as smalls mostly with some popcorn mixed in it... good, last popcorn ounce I got from these guys was kinda shit for bud size. The smell on it is kind of musky, earthy, spicy.. also kinda fishy... but not overtly fishy. The taste translates pretty well and it has a decent kick to it. Q: 7.8/10 - The size of the smalls were good, and the quality of the smoke was fine as well V: 7.3/10 - They used to do their popcorn ounces cheaper and others are doing popcorn ounces for cheaper of this level quality of bud. $134 after your $25 off referral.

Alright, so here’s another day with a heavy hitter from hga. Discrete packaging and no smell as always. Was a little dry this time around but nothing a boveda couldn’t fix. Also I noticed that this batch wasn’t quite as potent as some in the past. Although, it still got the job done. Fantastic nighttime strain as always. Although very similar to the death mint cookies, the mousse gives you that feeling of your face melting off. Although slightly less pungent on the smell and taste like less sour or earthy/cheesy? It's still really smelly and really tasty, just I think the Mousse is slightly less dank in that aspect. The buds were of a decent size, no complaints there. It still hits really hard when smoking. Quality - 8.5 Value - 9 (when purchased on sale).

Added +7g to my latest order at regular price. Visually a very nice looking strain. Arrived more dry than I️ would prefer. Smoke is incredibly smooth, this goes down nicely and that’s definitely the most impressive aspect of this bud. Flavour didn’t stand out to me as anything special, albeit it is still a pleasurable taste. Effects are strong but doesn’t hit me has hard as the Death Chocolate Mousse. Quite the enjoyable experience but nothing special at the current price point, I’m looking forward to trying some other HGA quads in the future. Amazing customer service and fast shipping from high grade aid ~ arriving in 20hrs from BC to QC.

DCM smalls were great and well tasting, what u would normally expect from the death chocolate mousse from hga, the smalls were slightly less potent but still packed a punch, excellent value and would pick it up if I seen it again, burned nice and white Black bubba, was a bit more of trips then AAAA- I would have labelled aaa+ but no biggie, smoked decent and definitely packed a punch, the flavour was meh mostly strong gas taste. Hit very nice in a vape, smoked better then it looks but nothing crazy special Both were excellent indica a priced around 170 before discounts and points(paid about 150 at the end of the day), HGA is my go to everytime I need weed, no one does it better cheaper imo.
