Snagged an ounce of Cookies Growers: Sugar Cane this week from HGA. A hybrid cross between Platinum X Slurricane. Apparently Sativa dominant. I am a fan of the Cookies Grower strains and I thought I'd give this one a try. Upon opening the bag - not a huge nose, but a decent accent of berries and sweet terps. Busted up it produces even more of a sweet and dough berry nose. Smell translates to the taste, producing citrus, berry, sweet dough with an after hint of spice. Buds came medium in size with a decent humidity. Maybe a tad dry. Not really sticky to the touch, but definitely fresh bud. Cure is good. Pretty smooth. Produces a white, light grey ash with a thin oil ring, High starts in the head with energy then makes it's way to the body. Nice high. Not overwhelming or anxiety ridden which I find most sativa's are. The ride is nice on this one. The taste is great. Who doesn't love a Slurricane cross? Had to put out half way through. A little late to this one, but grabbed an ounce of the runtz for 99 in early February. The ounce came with good sized nugs, nice looking for the price. Fairly potent, good for the value I would say (passed out after a couple bowls). Cure wasn't perfect, but a day or two with a boveda cleared that up. A very light taste of berries, as well as some classic earthy weed taste. At the price I definitely recommend the runtz! Yeah that's right. I'm doing an HGA review for free. Have I lost my fucking mind you may ask? Probably. But I'm bored, I kind of miss just reviewing stuff for the sake of it, and this is the only other thing I've ordered lately lol. Also, something most people don't touch on when doing these HGA reviews: their customer service. I had a fairly minor issue with a recent order so I reached out on discord, and within five minutes they'd gone above and beyond to make it right. I've dealt with so many MOMs lately who have shit CS, and HGA is the polar opposite. It's like 5-star hotel customer service. Anyway... My bag was mostly big chonky, purple buds with a few smalls mixed in. A little bit crispy outside but soft and spongy inside, so no big deal there. Solid bag appeal, mostly for the sweet colours. Nose is loud ass gassy candy, with some creamy cookie undertones. I'm a sucker for this kind of terp profile so this hits me right in the feels. Taste translates not perfectly but damn well. It's not lip-smacking, but every puff is tasty, down to the roach. Mostly the gassy candy comes through, but every do often I get hints of cookie. Clean burn with a pale grey ash, grease ring on most joints. High is I guess what you would call mild, but I find it super upbeat and energetic, which I wasn't really expected. I've been using this as early day weed, cause I find myself actually motivated to get stuff done. Definitely not a knockout weed, but a great functional/practical weed. Overall for $135 a zip I'm more than happy. I think the $99 Runtz last month was probably a better deal for similar terps, but I'd still buy this all day at $135. Quality: 8.25/10, value 8/10

Incentive: $25 and free shipping. Pictures don't quite do this one justice, but it's pretty frosty, with some beautiful purple calyxes/bracts when busted up. Sticky, lots of trich heads. Fresh and spongy. Clearly well handled. Nose is tons of sweet fruit; basically smells likes cherry/blueberry pie. Tiny bit under cured (there's a bit of underlying hay/grass) but a week in the jar seems to have solved that. Once it's busted the terps are too loud to notice anyway. My grinder smells like berries/cherries for hours after grinding this stuff up. Sweet, fruity berry terps with every puff in a joint. Reminds me of the Burt Reynolds I got from HSP last year. Pale, almost white ash, moderately greasy burn. Really nice smoke overall. Not super potent, but a good afternoon/early evening weed for me. Rated AAAA-, which I'd say is pretty fair. $164 without discounts. Quality: 8/10, value: 7/10

These FSE syringes are fucking amazing. Last time I tried enigma oil was when i ordered from canna panda a while back and it was amazing but a bit expensive. I was able to snag this for 70$ shipping included which is crazy cheap considering their half gram carts usually go for 45/0.5g. anyways the flavor on this is ridiculously good. It doesn't have any unique flavors but it tastes absolutely dank. Its sweet and skunky and a bit lemony. Not enigmas best tasting oil compared to their other ones but the quality is definitely higher than most legacy and legal FSE oil out there imo. Would definitely recommend now that they're only 100$ for 2g. Only downside is that the syringe was only able to fill 1 and 3/4 of a cartridge and not two full ones.

Not my favorite strain from HGA but it's still decent. Just an average Indica high, some light cerebral effects but short lived. Overall I found it slightly underwhelming, mostly because I've had some amazing batches of pink rockstar in the past. I will say it's still pretty decent weed, just with the AAAA- grading I was hoping for a better high!
