Ice Cream Cake - KeysToTheQuads - April 2021

Been wanting to try these guys out for a while, they have a different ordering process than I'm used to with usual Moms. Communication and Placing the order through wickr was very quick and easy. They are super friendly and allowed me to choose 2 qs for the mystery H.O. which was great. Picking up this ICC and some Animal Style turned out to be excellent choices. This ICC is absolutely incredible right from the opening of the bag. A complex and extremely rich nose of spice and sweet cakes dough is the easiest way to describe the smell of this. There are also notes of gas deep within. Extremely dense and covered in full trichomes with many of the heads intact, this flower is a delight to behold. Excellent stickiness and cure. Smoking brought the very same notes to the taste and smooth exhale. Clean as could be with a snow white ash, smoking this stuff is a wonderful experience. Then the high comes, creeping somewhat slowly to full effect, you are instantly hit with a warmth to the forehead that is just so nice it's difficult to describe but the effects keep coming until it is almost overwhelming and would certainly have a novice smoker hanging on tightly if they had more than 2 or 3 pulls of this stuff. This is one of the strongest flowers I've ever had, providing a myriad of effects that create depth to the high and makes for a super fun and interesting experience. It's really difficult to describe the intensity of the effects but that is certainly what sets this stuff apart from most anything I've ever smoked. As complex as the nose and taste is, the effects follow suit ten-fold. The 70% indica side takes hold about an hour after smoking and forced me to sleep. I really couldn't be happier with this experience and will almost certainly post a review for the Animal Style once Ive tried it a bit more, its even more visually appealing then this ICC but the effects are not as intense. No incentive for review here, just a dope ass flower to share!

Animal Face (Greasegodz) - Keystothequads - June 2020

Keystothequads are a great IG based mom and I haven’t once been disappointed with their products and definitely recommend them. Great packaging. Shipping was a nightmare but that’s 100% on CP. This was dropped off June 16th in Ont. and I got this today July 7th in Qc. Oh well, it is what it is, just super happy/excited to finally get it. Flower: Animal Face (Greasegodz) I’ve come to realize that seed junky is probably my favourite breeder out there. Everything I’ve tried from them is off the charts and this one is no exception. Beautiful light green nugs that are absolutely coated in trichs. Super pungent smell with some citrus/spicy funkiness with some earthy/gassy hints to it. Rolled a smaller one and the moment I light the joint up the thing was covered in resin with a think oil ring, literally one puff in. Ash is pure white, perfect burn and GREAT potency. Seriously I cannot ask for much more. The high is definitely on the sativa leaning side of a hybrid high. Felt really great after my joint and really no form of anxiety that certain sativa tend to bring out in me. I could smoke this all day long, wish I grabbed more (was a mix and match oz with the other half being ICC X KM11 which I’ll review at some point, $265/oz shipped). So really my only complaint is towards myself for not having grabbed more, will definitely be on the lookout for this strain, it’s a thing of beauty.

Peanut Butter Breath #4 (CE) - keystothequads - May 2020

Made three orders over the long weekend from different Ontario moms, this one wins the prize in terms of getting here first and as usual, great service by keystothequads. Always very well packaged, quick processing/messaging via direct message app, certainly a service I would recommend to anyone. It’s premium flower that you pay a premium price for, but I have yet to be disappointed and every toke reminds me of why I paid this much lol.. Flower: Peanut Butter Breath #4 by CE ($280/oz shipped) So initially I contacted them to buy some pbb#26 as I had purchased some in the past and really loved it. Contact keys, they tell me I should forget about the #26 and go with the #4, that the nose were the same but the #4 was just more potent. Usually when I have my mind set on something I don’t budge but hey, figured I take the guys word for it (they even added a bud of the #26 to compare). The flower comes in a smelly proof bag which is then vacuum sealed in another bag. The moment I put the scissors in the sealed bag, I had a huge smile on my face. Absolutely pungent PBB nose, really reeks of kushy peanut butter and that unmistakable breath odour, a thing of beauty. Visually I find it less seducing than #26 which has the bright purple colours, but they are still beautiful nugs. Perfectly cured, somewhat greasy and rock hard. Decent size buds too. Tried a small tester as I was working today and they weren’t kidding, stuff is super potent. Very balanced high (definitely a 50/50). Tiny joint hit me like a brick. Perfect burn/white ash, oil ring. Nose which really translates to taste. This bud checks all the marks and have to say it’s worth the price they are selling it. Definitely happy with this purchase and also a great suggestion on keystothequads part!
