CANSeries - BlackCapCannaCans - Raptorfan93
Raptorfan93
Welcome to the seventh post of the CANseries. Today I will be introducing one of my top 3 companies from the upcoming top 10 list (ETA: end of May 2019). It is Black Cap Canna Cans and they are a class act. They provide in-house organically grown products directly to consumers and through online distributors. The thing I loved about Blackcapcannacans is that they treated me with the utmost respect and promptly replied to all my queries in a timely fashion. They are in the top section of my buy list in 2019. I am excited to support this company and will recommend it to all my readers. The owner was nice enough to call me right after our chat on Instagram. I was told that the owner and his partner grow the products themselves (organically) and they really love and appreciate the Cannabis community. Their genuineness came through in all our communication and the product itself as it was grown with love. MOM Name - BlackCapCannaCans Overall rating out of 10: 9/10 Sign Up: 10/10 I reached out to them on Instagram one fine evening. They asked me for an ID verification. Spoke to them right after and my products were shipped out the next day. Contact Instagram: @blackcapcannacans2.0 or via email on [email protected] Ordering & Pricing: 10/10 I asked for a menu and was given a list of options. The owner called me right after and we had a good chat about their service, the list of products they had, and the terpene profile and effects I was looking for. He thereafter made some recommendations. I was sent tracking to my email and on insta from the postal office and my products were received in two days. Three days in total from contact to delivery. I ordered two 14gram cans (Alien OG and Trainwreck) for CAD 200 - the owner was kind enough to take away shipping. Can't promise if he will do the same for you. Communication: 10/10 Stellar (see above). I feel like I would rather support them than some big conglomerate like Aurora to be honest. Packaging: 9/10 Okay, I have had a lot of canned weed ever since I have started hunting but their cans are the best in terms of graphic design and quality. 2 points out as they did not provide a boveda or boost pack (but then again neither do my top 2 - Coastal and BHothority provide them as well). Products / Photos: As a quick overview, both the products I received burned clean white ash. They were smooth to smoke and the effects were exactly how they should as per strain genetics. The buds were coated with crystals and with hardly any popcorn or none at all. The only minor drawback was that the weed was a bit dry. Maybe they could add Boveda or Boost packs in the future? With that being said, it checks all other boxes. Alien OG (Tahoe OG X Alien Kush) - Okay this is one made it to my list of top 3 most potent strains I have tried. The other two being Bruce Banner and Ghost Train Haze. I remember just sitting in the park staring at a tree laughing (doesn't happen to me all that often as I have been smoking daily for the past 6 years). The buds were covered with trichomes and were resinous. The effects were intense - a bit psychedelic after smoking after smoking two to three bowls. Great for chronic stress. The buds had a sweet citrus like notes to it and when busted open reflected its OG genetics. Burned smooth with clean white ash. A must try in my books for people that love heavy hitters. 9.5/10 Trainwreck (Mexican and Thai sativas bred with Afghani indicas) - The lineage of this strain is like Canada - multicultural af. Trainwreck initial effects are energizing, euphoric and uplifted, which then melt into a full-body relaxation that keeps your mind whirling. Again this one was strong as well but not as strong as the Alien OG. Trainwreck had the right amount of potency to be an after-work stress buster (Alien OG is better to wake and bake on the weekends when you dont have to use brain your for things like thinking or to try with friends to get zonked out). Lemon and earthy flavor profile and again burned smooth with clean white ash (not salt and pepper, not grey - clean white). 8.75/10 image1.jpeg image2.jpeg image3.jpeg image4.jpeg image5.jpeg image6.jpeg image7.jpeg image8.jpeg image9.jpeg image10.jpeg Incentive for Customers: Top notch quality (yeah, they are up there) for their compassionate prices (Its hard to get an Oz. of craft flower for 200 bucks). They offer competitive prices for bulk as well. The closest I got was 14g cans from Coastal Wildfire for CAD 105 during their pre-420 sale. Incentive for Review: None. Just love for the community. Notes: What are you waiting for? I am already contemplating placing another order.May 02, 2019
Living Soil Black Mamba - Kootenay Craft- Late April
/u/bcbud78
These three are the only ones I have tried. The PP is phenomenal for flavour and shows it’s indica side. I am partial to the purps though. The LSBM is different then their non living Soil BM. But the HC is very good. Just as described. The MD is amazing too. I have not been disappointed by KC in two orders.Apr 28, 2019
strawberry jager / kootenay craft / april

The flavour is nice enough, nothing special, but I'm loving the effects. It's pretty potent and the high lasts for awhile, plus it's a nice, energized high that puts me in a good mood and doesn't make me feel sleepy. Also doesn't hurt that the bud is so beautiful to look at.Apr 27, 2019
[Kootenay Craft] Watermelon Hybrid Indica Review
mcmaxx
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-u-y16vpaM Watermelon Hybrid Indica Review | 5/5 Another fruity strain from one of my favorite craft growers with a delicious name: watermelon. Although a trade I felt happy to finally get around to trying this as it's described as a hybrid indica with great feedback. Hopefully this strains tastes as good as it sounds. Right out of the jar this strain smells sweet, a bit of a cookie, a bit of a floral smell. Tons of crystals, light in colors (with some dark green in between), quite a few red hairs (tho stuck down by the crystals) and looks solid, caked, well trimmed. The bud was fluffy, not super dense, but when cracked open smells even STRONGER candy / sweet smell. The bud remains dense and crystally even down to the stem which ensures a stronger buzz when we do eventually get down to smoking it. When grinding it up we get a sense of just how dense it was before. Tho still light in color the crystals give it an overall even/dull/shine to it. The stickiness is where it shines; sticking both to my hands and to itself and we are able to feel the crystals between our fingers even after. Now that it was ground up we get a much more PINEY smell (overpowering the sweetness). A very light, fresh, summer-time piney smell with a hint of tropical/fruit/sweet smells we had originally but now a much more piney, zesty, smell. Tho still candy-like it's interesting to see how much the bud changes when ground up vs fresh out of the bag. In the vape was (at first, 185) not that interesting. Low temps we got sweet cookies, not living up to the 'Watermelon' name. We raised it to 195 and got a very sweet, very fruity (hard to tell if watermelon persay) but tropical and sweet for sure. It ended up being 50/50 cookie flavor and sweet tropical flavors. The only disappointing part was when it was finished and you just wanted more ;) ... a good problem to have. Could be one of the new 'favorite' strains alongside pineapple or other fruity flavors as the taste simply got stronger the more we vaped. After smoking it the ash was left white with light grey ash. For the actual smoking experience it was light on the lungs, smooth smoke, very SHISHA-like, lots of vapor. The effects kicked in almost immediately (even around the time we were vaping) which is nice. It's def. an indica leaning (lazy, relaxed, euphoric good mood) but not something you'd wanna go out in public with or go do chores. Probably best to leave it as end-of-night kind of smoke. Some visuals as well (things look sharper, hearing is improved) so def all the checkboxes for a solid indica. Overall looking at the bud as a whole there's nothing to complain about. Smells great, looks shiny and well kept, great taste in the vape (and what we expect from a name like watermelon) and a smooth, strong smoke while blazing. A bud I'm glad I received as a gift to review as it's probably something I'd buy again whether from the same grower or other craft growers to compare and see if others are a 5/5 like this one.Apr 26, 2019

Not a very heavy hitter but I love the taste and burn. Actually found it to be more spacey and no focus for meApr 21, 2019
KootenayCraft - Strawberry Jager - April 19

First order with them and I'm impressed. I had heard that they were not so potent, but it's fine to me, but the taste and the cure is just outstanding.Apr 21, 2019
KootenayCraft - Watermelon - April 19
/u/bassdrop30
I've had this strain from 3 different moms in the last 2 months. The nose is a little more muted compared to the other 2, potency is average, but the cure and taste is amazing. I prefer Gas Garden's Watermelon in terms of nose and potency, but this one still still an excellent smoke, and cheaper.Apr 21, 2019
