Really enjoyed the flavour on this one. Super sweet fruity finish on the exhale. Burned alright, smooth enough. Fairly clearheaded high, little on the weaker side. Good daytime strain.

Silver Surfer - Kootenay Craft - Feb 2021 (Preview)

Really enjoyed Silver Surfer through this source and another previously, so was appreciative when KC sent this as an additional replacement for some problematic MAC I sourced + I'll just treat it as a new review submission that replaces the other Arriving slightly dry as highly resinous light green medium nugs that look freshly cropped, this batch of Silver Surfer (Super Silver Haze x Blue Dream) was a little bit tastier than the previous experience reviewed at the site, but wasn't quite as potent as that impressive prior batch This balanced hybrid that I generally treat as an anytime productivity strain is mostly woody/earthy/nutty/herbal in taste + aroma but also has some welcome citrusy moments during the experience Expected 416 Database Score: 88-91 AAAA- ________________ Full Disclosure: This is a donated product that will result in 7g of flower being gifted by 416 Strains towards our Cannabis for Good initiative. Sunset Sherbert - Kootenay Craft - Dec 2020 (Preview)

Slept on this one for a while coz of the nose, but this cultivar also happens to have a very memorable flavour profile This Sunset Sherbet (listed as Pink Panties x GSC) has a ton of purple colouration (anthocyanins) to go with a sour musky/woody/fruity aroma (that isn't really my favourite tbh). Then sorta surprisingly, the experience begins as a creamy, woody gassiness that transitions into a creamy, fruity flavour profile that does remind me of berry sherbert. Milky, grainy and fruity Not finding the experience overwhelming in any way but would describe it as stoney relaxation balanced by a heady/floaty initial presence, not too many physical effects and not too sedative.. I think this strain is generally listed as 85/15I but feels more balanced for me. Maybe 8.25 Potency in our Database scale Rare occurance where I didn't like the nose of something but still really enjoyed the experience, a lot more than I expected to I might add. Sour Royal Diesel - Kootenay Craft _ Feb 2021

These buds are almost all gigantic. The entire ounce consisted of 5 huge nugs with a few smaller ones filling up the corners. Not as frosty as some strains, but that doesn't seem to affect the quality too much. Nugs are dense and still quite fresh. Smell is earthy and fruity, which comes out as a spicy sweet fruit in the vape. A little peppery; reminds me of Starfighter a bit. High is very dopey and relaxing.

Mad Caps - Kootenay Craft - Feb 2021

The look of this is pretty nice, frosty but a little shaggy. Most nugs are medium size, with some chunky ones mixed in. Everything is super squishy and sticky. Smell is earthy with some vanilla. Taste is earthy, like smelling a handful of soil from a forest floor with all the little hints of various decaying things. Maybe not for everyone, but earthy weed is fine by me. The high makes your head feel swollen, like a bobblehead. Pretty amusing, but we'll see how it goes as I am about to start prepping dinner. Should be fun but might forget ingredients or fall asleep between steps.

Slurmint - Kootenay Craft - February 2021

This has got to be one of my favourites from KC. It came in a huge 6.5 gram and .5 nug! The bud is caked and has an amazing bubbly looser looking structure that gives it a nice fluffy cloud look. The smell is insane! Very sweat, minty and fruity! This realy comes through on the pallet with some herbal undertones. The high is really great it gives me a nice energy and euphoric buzz. Clean burn and I can take fat rips on it because of the smoothness. I can’t get enough of this smoke and it’s a good thing it’s got almost no burn out to to it! Had to give KC a shout out on this one! It’s an all star!

Slurmints - Kootenay Craft - January 2021

Got this off of my cousin who ordered from KC, I’ve never actually placed an order with them but as far as I know they offer top notch service. This strain just went on sale and actually ordered some more as I totally fell in love with this one. They have their own sealed jars so for shipping it’s pretty good to keep everything safe for shipping. Flower: Slurmints (Slurricane x Platinum Kush Mints) by in-house genetics. Saw a review of this flower on here which made me (me and the cous) pull the trigger on this. I’m a huge fan of platinum punch remix by NC and felt that the smoke should be very similar given the lineage and similarities between the two crosses and it was exactly as expected. Just an amazing candy strain like ppr but less grapey. This one smells of candied wild berries, just amazing and very pungent. Beautiful light green nugs and a shitload of trich heads glistening, very impressed. Cure was on the crispier side but still great when grinding it really, a week in the jar and it’s just perfect now. The taste is exactly what it smells like making this so freaking enjoyable, rather smooth smoke with a nice oil ring, light grey ash, good burn. The high is great, starts out with some euphoria, I get a little talkative (wife was asking me what I had smoked lol) and then just hammers me and get a nice relaxing buzz, definitely some good potency on this one (can’t expect less with such genetics). Really a winner and for the price point right now it’s an outright steal.

MAC Stomper - Kootenay Craft - Dec 2020 (Preview)

This MAC Stomper (listed as MAC x Grapestomper OG) hits pretty hard for me.. Initially thought it might just be the first session or two with a new strain, but the surprising potency is definitely still there Arrived slightly dry as dense, well-trimmed medium nugs with a sour, fruity, woody sweetness that becomes more tart with a fruity sweetness when ground. Citrusy, woody/earthy kush profile early, then the gas kicks in and really dominates the latter half, with a subtle berry sweetness and some spicy notes late.. Unfortunately some harshness Would describe its effects as a euphoric, very strong initial blast that hits at once and leaves me more stoned than I'd normally be for a balanced hybrid, can still function but certainly requires effort/concentration Really enjoying its citrusy nose, though its flavour profile is gas-dominant (and not as fruity as I'd hoped).
