Blood Orange - KootenayCraft - August 2019

by /u/thechronickid_00 β€’ Aug 29, 2019

Smells fantastic and definitely has a lot of a citrus influence from one of my favourites, Cali orange. Tbh I only had one rushed bong hit so far so I didn't really get to enjoy its taste yet. Will definitely let you know soon. The buds are pretty chunky and sticky although the trim could perhaps be better.

Citrus Sap - Kootenay Craft - Aug 2019 (Preview)

by /u/416strains β€’ Aug 29, 2019

Haha np. This one is a balanced hybrid of Tangie x GG4 but seems to lean towards the GG4 in appearance, taste and effects. Moderately potent, heady effects with some comedown (hits you in the face a bit, then it settles into a stone). Caked small-to-medium buds (with high calyx ratios) with a sour citrus pungency in the jar, some citrus notes early on, but mostly a sweet, earthy fuel profile in terms of taste.

Living Soil Hempstar - Kootenay Craft - Aug 2019 (Preview)

by /u/416strains β€’ Aug 28, 2019

First time trying this sativa, amazingly.. early thoughts are that it doesn't have as much flavour as it looks like it should have from its appearance. Large well-covered nugs with some excess protective trim, and we found the taste to be a generic sweet earthy profile, with moderate heady effects and a mild comedown. Not bad by any stretch, but our least favourite from August

Tangerine Cookies - Kootenay Craft - August

Tastes as delicious as it smells, tangy oranges with a soft floral undertone. A beautiful sativa dominant hybrid

Citrus Sap - Kootenay Craft - Aug 28th '19

by /u/dnmSeaDragon β€’ Aug 28, 2019

Really liking this one a lot. Smell is earthy/herbal with very slight citrusy notes. Taste though is more citrusy with a hit of earthyness. Listed as mostly sativa, high definitely feels like it. More of a head high than a body high.

Living Soil Chocolate Japan - Kootenay Craft - Aug 2019 (Preview)

Second time trying this cultivar from KC.. Didn't love it as much as some others did the first time, despite it being some of the best-grown bud we'd seen.. This time around, less visually impressive but better cured and more potent. Medium buds with solid development have a sour, earthy pungency with nice fragrant hints of chocolate, starts out woody/dank/herbal then progresses into an earthy, roasted pungency. Still not my fave set of terps, but potency is the strong suit of this quick-hitting sativa (with some adverse effects)

Punch Breath - Kootenay Craft - Aug 2019 (Preview)

by /u/416strains β€’ Aug 28, 2019

One of my faves from this drop, along with the LS Super Lemon Haze. The Punch Breath has a nice fruity nose (dank, fruity/berry Mendo?) and soothing/relaxing night-time effects.. taste-wise it starts with a complex woody/sweet/herbal/caramel profile that transitions into a berry sweetness at higher temps. Flavourful and bowls last quite a while, pretty enjoyable indica so far + look forward to writing it up

Blizzard Cookies - Kootenay Craft - Aug 2019 (Preview)

by /u/416strains β€’ Aug 28, 2019

I've enjoyed trying to guess this mystery cross, as it has a nice sweetly-sour pungency in its aroma, but it almost tastes like Cactus Breath at various points (rather than the expected typical GSC profile). After a couple of sessions, would say it's a functional but still stoney balanced hybrid with above-average potency. Nugs were small to medium but pretty caked and had solid humidity. Going by the name and mostly by my nose (haha), I would guess **Blizzard Cookies** might be *White Cookies* x *Cactus Breath* as of now. Pretty solid
