Amarelo / Kootenay Craft / January 2021

by /u/Cronnoisseur420 • Jan 03, 2021

Bag apeal to the max, this strain is beautiful. Huge nugs with crazy light green/yellow colour. When you crack the nug open its very white inside with multiple layers of trichromes High: Really helps take the edge off at the start of the day and lowers my anxiety and stress. This strain is high to medium high potency. It’s a heavy sativa high that seems to come at you for a while. Burn: this weed burns clean and it’s got an amazing cure to it. Still sticky and fresh. Burns slow and smooth with an amazing exhale. Taste: the best part of this strain super sweet, fruity almost like banana, herbal, and creamy! Really comes through on the nose also

Kootenay Craft LSO Cookies

by /u/dOndOn154 • Jan 02, 2021

I’ve been liking KC’s LSO strains, so much flavour, potency is on point, and the buds just look amazing. I’ve had made KC one of my go to MOM’s as I’ve never been disappointed. The flavour profile is obviously cookie on the exhale. The pungent smell transfers very well into the smoke too. I recommend giving Kootenay Craft a try!!

LSO apple pie - kootenay craft - December

by /u/RenegadeNewf • Jan 01, 2021

Smell on this is really nice with more of a Sativa high. Found the humidity on this a lil high but that’s my personal preference

In love with this strain. It has a very unique taste with a delicious palette of flavor. Citrus, berry, herbal aromas. Amazing bag appeal, perfect cure. An all around perfect smoke for night time. Love the colours on this bud too. So very dank.

LSO Apple Pie - Kootenay Craft - Nov 2020 (Preview)

by /u/416strains • Dec 07, 2020

Sourced some enjoyable non-LSO Apple Pie from the same source a while back, so quite grateful that they allowed us to try this LSO Apple Pie as one of their Nov review submissions to compare This LSO Apple Pie arrived as a mix of small to medium nugs of perfect humidity, has a skunky, lemony, citrusy, (apricot-y?) pungency in the jar and skunky/lemony/earthy early flavours that settle as a smooth nutty/earthy sweetness, retaining a skunky pungency throughout While this LSO batch lacks some of the striking visual appeal of the earlier 'regular' Apple Pie, I prefer the more pronounced terpene profile + slightly more flavourful taste profile of the LSO version I found the non-LSO 'regular' Apple Pie from Sept to be slightly more potent, while this LSO version is still above-average in terms of potency as a sativa-dominant hybrid that's enjoyably energizing, with dry eyes as a likely adverse effect. Have had good returns using both batches of Apple Pie prior to cardio ________________ Full Disclosure: This is a donated product that will result in 7g of flower being gifted by 416 Strains towards our Cannabis for Good initiative. LSO Bad Girl - Kootenay Craft - Nov 2020 (Preview)

by /u/416strains • Dec 03, 2020

This LSO Bad Girl (The Whip x GSC) arrived on the dry side as dense, visually impressive medium nugs with mostly tidy trim and a sweet, slightly herbal Cookies aroma with some fruity notes. Starts chemmy/woody with a 'fresh' sweetness, then settles into a woody, Cookies baked goods profile with a sour, fruity pungency. Loses points for considerable harshness, but is fruitier than expected, maintaining an enjoyable citrusy, grainy/woody earthiness throughout the experience Have found this surprisingly potent so far and would say that potency is the best characteristic of this balanced or sativa-leaning hybrid with a pronounced euphoric rush that hits mostly at once Prob my fave of KC's Nov submissions over the LSO Apple Pie ________________ Full Disclosure: This is a donated product that will result in 7g of flower being gifted by 416 Strains towards our Cannabis for Good initiative. Tropicana Miracle #2 - Kootenay Craft - Nov 2020 (Preview)

by /u/416strains • Dec 03, 2020

Listed as Ocean Grown Tropicana Miracle #2 (Tropicana Cookies x MAC), this cultivar arrived as medium/small nugs of perfect humidity and a lightly orangey, citrusy aroma. The buds seem to lack some of the usual development we've grown accustomed to from this source - could be a matter of handling/trim, shorter flowering time or different medium, not sure With that said, have found this sativa-dominant or sativa-leaning hybrid to be a very pleasant daytime experience. Its particularly smooth throughout, starts creamy and woody with a gassy pungency, then becomes earthier with a citrusy sourness and a skunky, gassy pungency Flavours fade before the end and have found this to only be moderately potent so far, but have been using it before cardio with success ________________ Full Disclosure: This is a donated product that will result in 7g of flower being gifted by 416 Strains towards our Cannabis for Good initiative. Cactus breath - Kootenay craft - Nov.2020

by /u/Moodisok • Nov 16, 2020

After a couple of days I would say this. Strong potency but it makes me cough a lot. Maybe because it is very strong (advertised +26%). Salt and pepper hashes. Still a very enjoyable smoke that last (1-2h) and punch the brain.(Head rush that slowly relaxe the body fairly, but to much!)
