ICC x Red Velvet - OnlyGas - September

(this review is not incentivized) Apologies for my pictures not being as good as usual, I'm still trying to get used to a new phone camera with different settings. This stuff is pretty unique! i think its a nice smoke at 117/z Long skinny spear shaped nugs, very grey/green and sparkly, type of stuff that has big clumps of heads stuck together. Great moisture , spongey but dense & and grinds up well. Terps are that of ICC but with something else i couldn't pin at first, after many sniffs it really does have a sort of tart vinegar cake smell, just like red velvet. very surprised by that strange profile , but it tastes nice too in the joint. Burn is nice i would say, there's a few grey spots here and there but very clean taste and smoke. good oil production too, had a good ring going all the way down. I would recommend for bedtime but Indica smokers could pull it off in the day probably, its not too stupidly potent. 7/10 , if it was a bit stronger it'd be an easy 8.

Cheetah Piss - Onlygas

not incentivized. i did a couple incentivized reviews but will no longer post any incentivized reviews from any supplier. would rather provide transparent reviews for the community* this is my first shot at a proper review. let me know if there’s anything i should add in. bag appeal: 7/10 really a mixed bag here. cheetah piss tends to have some really nice tight buds, with bits of orange and purple. there are some really nice looking buds in here, but some buds that i had to trim myself before smoking as there were too many sugar leaves. smell: 6.5/10 when the bud first came to me it’s smell was not as apparent as it is now. after sitting in a jar for a week or so it has a nice ammonia/gassy smell. grinding this up brings out that smell even more. the smell is not as dank as some other cheetah piss i have smoked which for me is big part of my enjoyment of this strain. taste: 6/10 for myself taste and smell is super important, especially with cheetah piss having one of my favourite morning smoke terp profiles. it did have a gassy flavour it just isn’t the killer gassy flavour i love cheetah piss for. smoke: 8/10 a pretty even clean smoke, no complaints here from me. salt and pepper ash high: 8/10 it’s easy for me to give this a high score as i love the high cheetah piss provides. such a good daytime smoke, clear headed, focus and relaxed. Overall: 7/10

Peanut Butter Breathe ‘Smalls’ - Onlygas

not incentivized* these were sold as smalls but as you can see they aren’t smalls. obviously this isn’t a take away and if the buds smoke well this would have been awesome. the bag appeal was good, the smell was alright but not hay like other batches. however it smoked terribly. very harsh, so much so i just put the joint out after taking that photo. onlygas did give me a refund for the $60 i paid for this.

Only Gas DLS Sep 2022

First time ordering from Only Gas, originally put order in for Tom Ford Smalls on Sep 1. CS reached out to me telling me it was out of stock, I told them I'd take anything equally priced. Was told either comatose kush or rockstar platinum was shipped out. Received tracking number, it did not update for a couple days so I emailed CS again. They blew me off with the same tracking first, after emailing again they said they messed up and didn't ship anything at all out yet, meanwhile my order was marked completed. They finally shipped out DLS after confirming with me. Turns out it's a sativa, I originally ordered an indica. That's ones on me though so all good. Service wise definitely not happy, talking to CS wasn't much help. I originally thought I was just out the money. Bud looks great, broke some of them up they got crystals all the way through it seems like. Smell was fruity and hit hard as soon as I opened up the bag. Taste is very muted, almost nonexistent. I was pretty surprised considering the way the bud looked the taste did not match at all. Potency although varies by user this one did not hit at all. I have a high tolerance but I've never had to sit and smoke 3 joints to get an okayish buzz. Normally one does the trick if the tolerance seems high two will definitely knock me out. Although that isn't weed from only gas I suppose. Overall, 4/10 won't be placing another order from what it seems like so far. Not happy with what I received and seems to be the case with others on the forum too.

Looks good , smells like Hay, nothing like OG’s description , Really dissatisfied, also received Sophie’s breath bottom of the bag dried out crap. Reached out to the team and was told all flower sent is good. Sad to see all the negative reviews .

Kush Mints - OnlyGas - 9/3/22

Ordered this strain from OG a few weeks ago alongside a half zip of Liquid Butter. This flower from a bag appeal perspective imo looked better than the liquid gas, so I held onto it figuring I’d save the best for last. My experience here goes to prove the old saying don’t judge a book by it’s cover. For the most part this half zip of Kush Mints has not been a very positive experience. The positives here are pretty much bag appeal and bag appeal alone. My half zip was comprised of 4 large nugs, beautiful colours and great trim. Coated in trichomes inside and out. Smell was citrusy and somewhat minty, not very dank but sitting in a glass jar has brought out some more complex aromas. Freshness and moisture content another positive, buds had a good snap to them when breaking it up and had a sticky texture once cracked open. Negatives here are taste and burn quality. I found the taste to be faint with the slightest citrus notes. Wasn’t getting much mint or creamy flavours in my joints. Burn was not good, I found joints canoed often, went out constantly, and had a wide range of ash quality. My first joint rolled from the smallest bud and out of the Mylar was awful. Almost pure black and barely staid lit. Joints after some time in a jar improved in ash quality but the burn issue persisted. Taste has remained near non existent this would not be what I’d describe as “terpy” weed. The high was ok, I definitely felt stoned. Mostly indica effects like haziness and mind/body relaxation. Overall would have to say this flower was a disappointment, price is always fair with OG but quality control needs to be addressed. TLDR… Smell: 6/10 Taste: 5/10 Bag Appeal: 9/10 Burn: 5/10 High: 7/10

Grease Monkey - OnlyGas - Aug 30 2022

Made my first order with OnlyGas. Seen nothing except great reviews. My order arrived very quickly. Packaging was well done. Nice discreet box. Ordered two oz of Grease Monkey rated on their site as AAAA+.  So I expected some stellar flower. Buds have amazing bag appeal. Nice big sticky dense buds. Thats where things go south for me. I have not enjoyed smoking this flower. Every joint I have smoked has burnt really poorly. Black ash. Uneven burn. Difficulty keeping the joint burning. Flavour profile is smoke. I had some Grease Monkey aways back from another mom which was an outstanding smoke. This flower on the other hand is only eye candy. Ive been waiting to see reviews on this same OG product but not much in terms of reviews. Contacted OG over wickr multiple times with no responce. Likely my 1st and last order with OG.

Liquid Butter - OnlyGas - 9/3/22

Never heard of this strain before, thought it looked good on this site. Had to give it a try. It’s definitely quality smoke. For the most part it checks all the boxes. My only gripe being that it didn’t have a very punchy flavour. I was able to discern some buttery notes behind the two more front facing flavours in pine, and vanilla. Nose was mostly sweet pine. High was all indica in effect. Sedative and soothing on the body and mind. This is a great strain for gaming, movie nights, or relaxing with a book. Just be sure to have ample snacks on deck. Bag appeal was solid. Buds were denser than I had expected, freshness and moisture content were okay. The flower had light green colouring, long wispy pistils and ample trichome coverage throughout. Some fan leaves but nothing too excessive. My half zip consisted of mostly larger buds with about 3g in smaller stuff. Overall this was a solid pickup, as usual price point is hard to beat, shipping was prompt (I’ve heard and read this hasn’t been the case for a decent amount of you). I only wish it had a bit more terps. Price I paid for the half ounce was $70. TLDR… Smell: 7/10 Taste: 7/10 Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 Burn: 9/10 High: 8/10

Super Soaker * Only Gas * August

Strain - Super Soaker (Gushers x Super Fire) Vistual/Texture - initially this half zip completely glued to itself, separated into a composition mostly made of medium amongst some smaller nugs, all resembling spear shapes. Holding a firm density with minimal movement, crisp to the touch, snapping open to expose a sticky resinous interior. Medium emerald coloring with bright neon green sections, and undertoned portions of deep darkened plum patches. A sparse presence of short fiery orange hairs, matched up by a copious amount of glistening sugar caked trichomes Scent/Burn - presenting an amazing compilation of pleasant terpene emissions, exiting the grinder to an even more pronounced aroma. Infested by strong overtones of sweetened lemon pines, with an accompanying floral citrus fruit fragrance. Following directly behind those wonderful scents, drawing hoots surrounded by sweet floral lemons, and fruity herbal pine. Exhales resulting in more of a sweet citrus herbs, and a lemon spice which continues to lounge on the palate post release. Burning causing a fluffy light grey ash, and wearing a ring of greasy resin High/Effects - Super Soaker definitely brings on a high powered by its indica favored properties. Taking little time for the stone to commence, feeling the stress lift away within a few tokes, with its euphoric influx. Further into the bake it eases in while allowing you to unwind to a more relaxing, mellowed out state. Proving to be most beneficial puffed on later day or during the evening

Strain - Island Pink Kush Vistual/Texture - this zip of smalls definitely having some decent sized spear shaped nugs. Crisper shell texture allowing for slight give when squeezed, cracked open to a sticky lining. Bright neon dressed buds being accompanied by sections shaded with light lavender hues, and undertones of dark forest green. Sporting shorter copper hairs scattered throughout, and caked out in a generous amount of frosted sugary trichomes Scent/Burn - bringing on loud terpene emissions, having instant captivating properties, properly reeking up the room. An aromatic nose filled by sweet floral herbs, together with a skunky earthiness. Those vocal fragrances converting over to taste quite accurately. Inhales leading off with deep floral notes, floating with hints of sweet vanilla, and herbal earthiness coming through. Exhaling out to more of a sweetened floral earth flavor. Smooth with a long consistent burn, clean light grey ash with tiny specks of pepper, and a resin ring that grew with the session  High/Effects - Island Pink is an indica swaying hybrid (80/20) only a few tokes in, feeling the stress lift away being replaced by an uplifting euphoric bliss. Moving deeper into the stone a relaxation courses through the body, allowing you to unwind to a more mellowed state. Being left with little motivation post smoke, this strain is best left for later day or evening time use
