$140 an oz for AAAA Black Gas... count me in. Super nice buds, great colouration, great trichome coverage. It was fresh and sticky. Offered a nice clean smoke with solid ash and a great heavy hit of potency. One thing lacking for something such as Black Gas I was expecting it to be a bit more loud coming out of the back and coming through flavour. Quality 8.5/10 Value 9/10

Strain - Slurricrasher Smalls (Slurricane x Wedding Crasher) Vistual/Texture - an ounce of small rounded grape shaped buds. An exterior with a lightly crisp feel, airy spongelike density, casing up a sticky lining inside. A division of colored shades split between darker forest green, that's complemented by shades of sharp casted vibrant violet hues. Flaming orange hairs smothering the structures, and dusted up in a healthy layering of thick snow frosted trichomes Scent/Burn - a wonderful aroma collaboration creating this delicious terpene profile. Flowing with a tasty fragrance accented by sweet vanilla along with a fruity grape scent, having a less pronounced smell of lemon citrus herbs. That terp infused nose carrying nicely over to the smoke. Toking in a sweetened vanilla grape fruitiness, followed by earth herbal lemon. Exhaling out to a more robust sour citrus earthiness. Combusting to a medium grey ash, and forming a greasy ring of oil High/Effects - Slurricrasher is a hybrid (60/40) with its balance tilting towards the sativa side. Embraced with a wave of uplifting energy, experiencing increased focus brought on by a  cerebral influx, and an enhanced mood lifted by a euphoric surge. The stone rounds off towards a more calmed, relaxing demeanor deeper in. Working out perfectly as a day toke, or an elevated evening blaze

Black Gas - OnlyGas - 10/29/22

Another review from a recent OnlyGas drop. This Black Gas strain was $140 for a zip, and was rated as AAAA+ flower. Overall I was left slightly underwhelmed by the offering here. With a rating above quad status you truly expect exceptional smoke. This for the most part was only slightly above average in the categories that matter to me. Bag appeal upon arrival was solid. Flower had mostly dark green and purple hues. It was very sticky for the first week, but dried out significantly over time in the glass jar I keep my bud. Nose was earthy, gassy, and slightly floral. Taste was a mirror of the smell. Joints burnt wonderfully, ash was very white, and resin rings formed consistently. High was very heavy, and what you’d expect from a gassy Indica strain. If you’re looking for something euphoric and uplifting find something else. Smoking this bud was equivalent to getting shot by a low dose tranquilizer gun. Nothing really negative about this flower, but also nothing truly exceptional. I’ve had better strains from OG that were cheaper and of better quality. TLDR… Smell: 7/10 Taste: 7/10 Bag Appeal: 8/10 Burn: 9/10 High: 8/10

Monkey Mints - OnlyGas - 10/29/22

This ounce of Monkey Mints from OnlyGas was included for free with my order as part of a limited promotion deal. I’m imagining quite a few reviews on this strain have already been posted, so I’ll keep it brief. Surprised at the quality here, buds had above average bag appeal. The flower was fresh and decently sticky upon arrival. Sizing was also a positive, most the nugs in my bag weighed in at over 1g. Nose on the bag was very gassy and chemically with some spiciness on the backend. Taste was similar to the nose, I personally didn’t get much minty flavour from my joints. Burn was incredibly good, ash was unbelievably white. Overall can’t complain about something I got for free, and to be honest I wouldn’t have much to complain about anyway. This Monkey Mints is my preferred smoke right now, more so than the Black Gas which I also have, and OG rated as AAAA+. Would I go out of my way to buy this strain again? Probably not. However, I was expecting much worse and came away pleasantly surprised at the quality smoke I received.

picked this up on sale for $48 a half oz and for that price it was unbeatable. this was a aaa+ rated strain so it wasn’t as flavourful as their aaaa offers. but it still smoked nice. the high i found to be pretty hybrid like, not too heavy for day time in my opinion.

one of my favourite day time strains and this was a great batch of it. just absolutely covered in trichomes. nice citrusy smell and taste on the smoke. the high is that true mandarin cookies high. clear headed and focused. great stuff from onlygas.

Tina smalls - OnlyGas - September

Didn't expect a lot paying 60/z for this, but i am pleasantly surprised! got it to mix with nicer strains but its totally enjoyable by itself. light green and very sparkly, nice trich heads for such small buds. moisture and cure seems good, was actually pretty hard to roll into joints from how sticky it is. Terps in smell and smoke are super nostalgic, reminds me of smelling some dank in highschool and being amazed lol. Lots of sour berry and soapy-ness . very nice. Burns cleaner than i expected, not perfect but i would say 85% white ash. oil production isn't bad, I've had more pretty rings though. The strength on this strain is really something, i smoked it around 11PM and it fucked me up. I would say it hits harder than other indicas I've had recently, nighttime for sure! For the price i cant help but give this one a 9/10. tasty, strong and pretty clean. if it had whiter ash it would be a hard 10 at the tag.
