Chem dog - Pink Joint Shop - January 2021

Coming in a slick looking plastic screw top container. These gorgeous buds are pretty dense with a nice spongeyness to them. The color is of a vibrant olive green with a noticeable caking of trichomes. Buds are manicured well and the cure is decent. Upon cracking open the container I was greeted with a ever so pleasant aroma of dank sweet spicy diesel earthyness. While smoking I was hit with a nice tasting dank diesel taste with spicy notes. The smoke was pretty smooth but a tad harsh. Burned relativity well being slow and near continuous only having to re light the joint once. The ash was gray ash and had a slight grease ringer. This is a medium potency balanced hybrid. After smoking I felt europhic and creative. Then I felt clam and relaxed for a good while. This Chem Dog took a lot of my soreness away. Quality - 8.4 Value - 8.4

Do-Si-Dos - Pink Joint Shop - January 2021

These beautiful pale green flowers are nicely caked in trichomes. Bud size is of small to medium sized buds with a slight spongeyness to the medium sized ones and the small ones being more semi dense. The cure is proper and the trim job is near perfect. A mouth watering sweet minty citrusy aroma admits from these lovely nugs. Upon smoking in a joint the taste was of a minty cookie with citrusy notes. The smoke smooth with a bit of harshness, but still tasty. Burned near perfect staying light the whole time and having a slow burn. Ash was gray and the joint had a nice grease ringer going on. This is a medium to high potency indica dominate hybrid. Immediately after smoking I felt a nice europhia with being cerebral for a short time. It did not take long for me to become spacey and very relaxed. I was left with a nice sedation, but not to the point where I was completely couch locked. Quality - 8.6 Value - 8.4

Death Bubba - Pink Joint Shop // Dec 2020

Muted aroma at first that was hesitant to make it's presence known but finally came through when the flower was broken down, giving users that classic Bubba funk with twists of earth, gas and pine. As with what you'd expect from a strain with this name, it's hard to remain awake long after indulging in the effects of this relatively potent and sedative indica. You can expect a full bodied buzz, impaired motor skills, lethargic energy levels and possibly munchies - best suited for late evenings when all your daily responsibilities have been taken care of.

Dense buds generously coated in visibly thick trichomes that dance under sunlight give this flower a visual appearance well above average for it's category. Falling short of the 'sticky' threshold - with humidity levels that resemble an acceptable curing time, rolling was not a problem as the product holds to itself well. Despite the mesmerizing appearance, the highlight of this batch of Violator remains with the aggressive terpene profile that resembles old school Kush flavours dominated by earth, hash and pine. A particular sweetness can be identified that gets complimented well by faint citrus notes that remain hidden underneath the all-encompassing blanket of fuel. When burned, these translate into a wonderful hashy mix of hallmark Kush flavours with that touch of gas that lingers in your mouth long after the joint is completed. Gelato - Pink Joint - December 2020

This one from Pink Joint arrived in a lovely assortment of large nugs, some weighing around 4-5 grams, barely fitting in the included container which isn't small by any means and comfortably holds a half ounce (That's all 14 grams above). Very plump and chunky. Although leafy, there is still a good amount of visual appeal. Mainly light green in colour with shades of purple that can be seen on certain buds more than others. The orange pistils really stand out in contrast against the hefty amount of frosty white trichomes. Semi-dense texture, containing an average level of moisture that didn't come off as dry nor overly sticky. The aromas of this Gelato were a little muted at first after spending some time outside in the cold. A couple days in the jar has done it well although it isn't exactly the Gelato I'm used too. It has a general sweet smell that does have hints of a more familiar Gelato but it's dominated by overtones of dank earth and roasted nuts. The flavour is extremely similar as it produces a very earthy, herbal tasting smoke with a touch of sweetness on exhale. It burned nice and smooth, offering a light ash and decent sized resin ring. I just wish it had been a little terpier. I felt the high to be the highlight of this Gelato as it's rather potent with it's plethora of euphoric driven effects. Everything seems to loosen up shortly after smoking, mentally and physically, as it's relaxing and uplifting in nature and can turn a lousy mood upside down. Great late afternoon or after dinner smoke as it's balanced enough to enjoy all evening without falling asleep, perhaps just a slight burn out on the comedown.

Remaining true to it's name, the faintest of pink shades decorate the underskirt of this modest batch of Island Pink, or Pink Kush. A familiar expression that anyone on the east side who cares about cannabis can relate to, a gassy aroma with light floral notes and just a twist of funk to top it off. Arriving slightly on the dry side, these closely manicured buds did not meet the sticky threshold, but with a crisp exterior hiding acceptable humidity levels beneath. Breaking down the flower allowed for terpenes to present themselves in a more noticable manner, with dry pulls being filled with a reasonable amount of flavour. Sitting on that sweet spot between harsh and smooth, this smoke accurately represents the AAA tier with relatively strong potency levels that match up to the classic Kush stone that we've all come to know and love. Sweet Tooth - Pink Joint - December 2020

Arriving in small to medium sized nugs, displaying shades of light green and sage. Drowning in an ocean of thick, noodle like pistils that are brownish-orange in colour and doused in a modest layer of crystals, leaving the texture an average stickiness. Not necessarily dense but also not loose, giving the buds more of a fluffy composition. The profile of this Sweet Tooth is strangely unique and a bit of an acquired taste but it definitely has grown me. Aromas of sweet and flowery-earth, followed by peppery and woody-herbal nuances. It also tastes very herbal and woody with a touch of sweetness on exhale. Noticeably more enjoyable when smoked through a joint rather a bong, specifically because of the added sweetness and smoothness. Super clean burning regardless, providing a snow white ash with a hefty grease ring. A decent potency with almost instantaneous effects, beginning with a bubbly and euphoric high that can quickly uplift ones mood. Invigorating and elevating, all while offering mellow, nerve calming qualities. Good for wake and bakes but consuming a large amount has it feeling more suitable for afternoons as it can leave one slightly lazy afterwards.
