Canada Post’s shenanigans continue; the package was rerouted due to an error on the label, the site said it wouldn’t arrive until the 18th, and yet here we are, many days pre-Thursday. Perks for me - This package was free of charge, offered by The Green Ace so I could review the rest of their strain selection (however in the time it took me to write the review they added three strains! Rats!). I have done two previous reviews of orders which included a couple of free samples. Perks for you - Free shipping over $150. Free gifts at certain price points include free papers, free extra grams and free rollies. Referral option to split $40 reward points with the referrer and their friend. Affiliate option. Reviewing on the site, purchasing, etc gets you reward points towards free weeds. Doing those basic things with my purchases net me $19 of weed points without any referral bonuses. Buds - A beautiful array of magnificent beasts which range from a tiny dense rock hard nugget that somehow weighs a gram to a huge 2 gram fluffy monster. They’re all attractive. Black Diamond is exceptionally gorgeous, exactly the photos suggest. God’s Green Crack - The trim on this is stunning. This could win an award. Yet SOMEHOW, at the time of writing, this is on sale for $130 an ounce. The aromatics are less intense, more of a grassy experience than a toe curling one, and the flower is lime green through to the core. The flavor is light but lasts for a long time in a vaporizer, diesel and gassy. 4.2/5 Blue Cheese - The aromatics are potent. Opening the bag emits a waft of stanky cheese. Sticking your nose into the bag and inhaling is dangerous, one might almost be knocked unconscious by the sheer force of dank! Magnificent. I would consider ordering more of this. Definitely a quad in odour… I find myself returning to it just to smell, and definitely to consume. The flavor profile is cheesy with some fruity notes, the name is on the nose. 4.8/5 Skunky Diesel - Extraordinarily dense. Powerful odour that’s more diesel than skunk, but there is some skunk in there. It wouldn’t convince anyone you have a skunk problem, but it does have some of those marijuana skunky notes present in the aroma. It tastes like skunk immediately, however. Like a skunk just up and farted in your mouth. The skunk is tempered by some gassiness and a bit of a creaminess. I don’t think it’s the skunk from your teenage dreams, though it’s worth a try. At least it’s not the skunk that was around when I was a teen. Personally, I am not a fan, I’ve never liked my cannabis on the skunky side. Gives a head pinching sort of effect. 3.5/5 Bubba Kush - Powerful diesel and pungent aroma when you initially sniff, and on breaking up the buds it gets only stronger. It tastes like it smells, with a warming effect and enormous clouds of mouth-tingling vapor. The flower I received is springy and sticky, with a thick trich coating. Everyone’s had a lot of Bubba Kush. This is a nice example of it. I didn’t find it the flawless sleep strain that Death Bubba is, which made it more enjoyable for me. 4.5/5 Black Diamond - Mildly aromatic with a bite of pepper present in both the smell and taste. Slightly creamy. I didn’t find it notably pungent, subtle and sits nicely in the mouth, an example of a refreshing cannabis. I think it’s a great price for the quality, and a truly beautiful example of cannabis. The flower looks exactly like the photo on the website in terms of its overall rich deep color profile, no disappointment in bag appeal. Having had a few various Black strains, I found this one a little lacking in the flavor department. The effects were markedly body-high. I am in a lot of pain at the moment and it helped out a lot, but, at the cost of gluing me to the couch. I can do nothing but sit here, there is no difference between me and the couch. I have become one with everything. If you do a really small bowl, you can get away without the couchlock, I tried a bowl when I had a light headache coming on and good news, no more headache. 4.2/5 Pink Star - Toppest of shelf. To be fair I did already review this but I won’t hesitate to say again that this is one of the best indicas I’ve ever tried. The aroma is pungent and gassy. The flower is springy and breaks apart, not crumbles, into tidy well cured petals. Pink Star is a true star, and I won’t back down on that one; I’m not just being like “oh well I like it”… it’s really good. 5/5 White Castle - This was included as a freebie with my freebie, a sample of a product that will not be sold because it didn’t meet the Green Ace’s quality control. So they sent me two grams of it to see how I felt. It’s beautiful, aromatic, pungent, with a flavor profile that reminds me of licking the inside of a hamburger bag, or a gas station burger patty. It’s not good but once the initial terpiness dies down it’s a comfortably creamy, easy vape. The bud is a little on the dry side and vapes harsh, but the effects are powerful and come on hard. I would see this being sold as an AAA on another site. It was actually quite interesting to me to see what they consider to be not good enough to sell and I figured I would comment on it. AND this is the Pineapple Express from the movies :P The bud was hard as a rock, but despite it being really really dense, it was very airy. Weighing it on the scale was \~2g, could have easily been 4g as I've seen from other MoMs. The smell tho, thats where your money goes. Smells sweet like candy and really really pineapple-y. It's like you opened a can of pineapples and you get that first wiff. I've never had tropical bud but I didn't know it could do things like this. In the vape was just like how it smelt, really sweet, pineapple, and a tad bit citrus. Was like you were drinking the pineapple juice, really strong and made me sad when I was done vaping. Burning obviously you dont get as much of the taste but was reallllll smooth, and super light on the lungs. You get a hint of pineapple on your tongue when exhaling. No coughing, no itchy throat. The effects kicked in real fast, within the first 30 seconds and continue to creep up. The question ... is it worth 30$+ for a HQ? Well this is def. Comparing it to OCS of that price, it's a clear winner. This is the stuff that OCS should be charging for 56$ a HQ as it really knocks it out of the water. Highly recommend even just to have around and to WOW guests :D

Harsh on the throat, dark ash, but a great nose.

Bubba Kush is a strain that I probably don’t have to say a whole lot about in terms of its effects. The bubba is a Canadian staple crop, and I do believe that every man, woman and child in this country has smoked it (hopefully not children, but probably). The Green Ace’s Bubba Kush is masterful--I got completely lost in the magic of the photo that it offered me--observe the complete lacquering of trichomes! The bud I received was stupendously dense without being a rock--it has the The Green Ace expert-level cure that I will often rave about in this review. The aroma and flavour is extremely gassy, and the vapour was flavourful even after a 5 minutes in the Solo II! In fact, this bubba was still producing proper clouds well into the second 5 minute session, beginning at 220C--that’s bloody unheard of! If you like Bubba Kush, and are looking for the absolute highest quality, I would put this way up at AAAA+... I got really, really stoned off of this bad boy--for a long, long time. It is a deeply relaxing stone that is perfect for drifting off to sleep.

Smooth smoke, dark ash, great flavour, nice colouration on the buds.

I think Green Ace was out to prove a point here: I wanted to have this bud cast in acrylic resin and save it for all time! By far the most impressive looking bud with which I have ever come in contact. You see pictures of this type of quality, but I half assumed they were hoaxes. The mature trichomes are off the charts--the bud looks like it has a worm infestation--tentacle porn! Vapour was less dense than the Tom Ford Pink, but jurassically potent and ultra smooth. For me, this buzz creeped HARD; after 10 minutes I was a whole other level more intoxicated than I was off of the first few puffs--it was quite surprising and I’d caution people to keep that in mind before they blast back ten joints of this cannamadness. I had never heard of the Black Diamond strain prior to Green Ace, and now I think I need an Antonov carrier jet full of it. Both the Tom Ford Pink (reviewed in Part II) and Black Diamond had a strong body stone, but I found it to be more intense with Black Diamond. I could feel the tingling effects all throughout my body, even down through the bottoms of my feet, but without the heavy couchlock (in my case, anyway). I’ve seen some good quads at this point, but this might be beyond your typical quad. The Black Diamond was a dark horse in my Green Ace experience, and it won the bronze, silver, and gold trophies simultaneously. It’s hard to remain reserved with the rating for posterity when the cannabis blows your mind to this degree. Black Diamond is on sale for $130 an ounce presently, and if you have the money sitting around, you need to go buy one, because that price for this quality weed is bloody unheard of; no exaggeration.

Nice light grey ash, heavy pink kush nose, little pink but plenty of kush taste.

Amazing nose, grey ash, oddly tongue numbing. Caused one of the boys to green out on the fourth joint of the night.
