Wedding Crashers - The High Club - October 2021

Wedding Crashers is gorgeously caked out with a heavy matting on milky trichomes. I received a dank aroma of sweet fruity earthy creamyness. This flower has a hard dense structure with the ever slightest spongeyness to the buds. Had magnificent trim job seemingly hand trimmed with a impeccable cure. While smoking in a joint the ash was fairly white and there was a thick oil ringer. Burned expectional in all aspects, perfect. I tasted a dank sweet fruity earthy creamy taste with hints of musk and gassiness. The smoke was crazy smooth and had a pleasant richness to it. I found this is a high potency slight indica dominate hybrid. After smoking a joint (.5) I felt an intense europhia and a motivation to be physically active. I had a creative feeling but was also zoned right out. The high was long lasting and I was mellowed right out. I was so stoned, I drove by my exit for work and nearly arrived late. Quality - 9.5 Value - 9

Grape Soda - The High Club - October 2021

β’ Oct 24, 2021
Grape Soda Review Genetics : Tahoe OG Kush Phenotype Sourced by : @thehighclub.biz Quite the gorgeous bag appeal on this Grape Soda. A Tahoe OG Kush phenotype that packs plenty of character. Exploding with vibrant colours that range from light green to dark purple, eclipsed by a forest of long stalked trichomes and wild orange hairs. An impeccable trim that is matched by a stellar cure as the buds feel healthy, firm, and sticky. Anything named after a drink as tasty as Grape Soda has a tall order to fulfil and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. A delicious, grape-berry medley with herbal, spicy undertones and a faint mintiness. The taste isn't as fruity as the the peppery/spicy side takes the forefront, accompanied by a berry, herbal flavour on the exhale that is ultra smooth and clean, producing a salt and pepper ash and fair sized resin ring. Found the high to be about as balanced as can be. Uplifting and heady but also relaxing, leaving you functional enough to get things done but calm enough to feel mellow and at ease. Smoke a little too much however and the lazy side can slowly creep up but I would say that applies more to the lower tolerance crowd as it didn't seem overly sedating. Made for a great afternoon pickup with medium potency, well rounded qualities.

Chem Jack - The High Club - October 2021

Chem Jack Review Genetics : Chem-D x Jack Herer F1 Bred by : motherchuckerseeds Sourced by : @thehighclub.biz Taking it back old-school with this strain, crossing the timeless Jack Herer with Chem D. Buds are extremely dense and compact, equipped with a neat, tight trim. Predominantly bright green in colour with subtle hues of purple, sheltered under a canopy of chunky orange pistils and milky, THC filled trichomes. Very well cured flower, leaving the buds feeling tacky and fresh while still providing a crisp snap when breaking a piece off. Can't help but to feel very nostalgic with the nose on this Chem Jack. It's sweet, woody, and herbal with lingering aromas of diesel, spice and pine. Smells slightly citrusy and sour as well. It does a swell job at translating to taste but without the sweetness, producing a spicy, diesel, herbal smoke with a slightly woodsy exhale. The smoke is very unassuming as it's expansive and accrid as most chem strains so packing a huge bowl will make any vet bust a lung. Joints burn with an average sized resin ring and salt n pepper ash. A soaring cerebral high with minor physical effects and whole lot of sativa influence. Certainly a daytime smoke that demands a higher tolerance as the racy head high can feel overwhelmingly potent to some. Especially if you just sit there after smoking as it's the energetic type that encourages and promotes productivity. A great strain for carrying out daily activities and chores when correctly applying it's tools of the trade.

Wedding Crasher Review Genetics : Wedding Cake x Purple Punch Bred by : @_symbioticgenetics Sourced by : @thehighclub.biz Pale, olive green nugs with dark purple patterning, covered in an off-white layer of long stalked trichomes and bright orange hairs. Some surface trichs are slightly squished but she's overall pretty frosty. Dense and slightly sticky with a snappy texture, followed by a neat trim and decent cure. A nose that leans more towards the Wedding Cake side as it's sweet and slightly creamy with underlying hints of herbs and vanilla spice. Flavours are also Wedding Cake leaning, delivering a slightly sweet, cake accented smoke followed by an earthy, spicy exhale. Smooth burning with a salt n pepper ash and medium sized oil ring. Very cerebrally driven, my type of jam for a daytime smoke and more specifically for wakes and bakes. It's clear headed, creative, and slightly energetic in smaller amounts, perfect for multitasking and getting errands done, while in larger doses it's very heady and spaced out. Not the least bit sedating although there is a mellow sense of relaxation towards the end of the buzz.

MAC - The High Club - October 2021

MAC Review Genetics : (Colombian x Starfighter) x Alien Cookies Sourced by : @thehighclub.biz If I were to briefly summarize this MAC in a limited amount of characters I would simply say it's an absolute masterpiece. But that would be a complete injustice to just how good it really is. It demands a complete breakdown in every category, beginning with it's otherworldly bag appeal. Saying caked is an understatement as the buds look like they've been submerged in a layer of sugar, Fun Dip style. Extremely dense, in true MAC fashion, followed by a very sticky, snappy texture. Some of the stickiest flower I had as of late, really gums up your fingers good. The buds nearly appear white from the sheer amount of milky, full headed trichomes, barely allowing for her shades of green and purple to come through, at last, followed by an arrangement of long, thin orange hairs. Both the trim and cure are A+. One quick whiff of these buds and I'm immediately reminded as to why this is hands down one of my favourite strains of all time. It's never easy to describe but you just know it's MAC as it's a unique terpene profile. A nose that perfectly translates to taste, leading with complex aromas and flavours that are sweet, creamy, herbal, and fruity, delivering that super familiar lemony-citrus funk. Full-bodied, pallet lingering smoke, burning to a clean light coloured ash paired with a sizeable resin ring. I usually find MAC's to perform better in a joint vs a bong and that's also the case here. A highly potent, well-rounded onset of hybrid leaning effects, starting with a surge of euphoric, mood enhancing qualities, noticeably lifting my spirits with a powerful head high to match. It's eventually accompanied by a calming, heavily relaxed body buzz, perfectly combining with it's aforementioned effects to efficiently negate any lingering stress and anxiety. Honestly would be my go to strain for any time of the day as I love it that much but it can certainly leave you a bit lazy and burned out afterwards so ideally it would be better suited for afternoons and evenings.

GG#4 - The High Club - October 2021

β’ Oct 16, 2021
GG#4 Review Genetics : Sour Dubb x Chemβs Sister x Chocolate Diesel Sourced by : @thehighclub.biz It's been a while since the last time I've had some good ol' GG#4. It's a strain I grew up with so it's always had some sentimental value to me. Never had a Glue with this much of a purple influence to it and it's extremely easy on the eyes as are the overall looks. Caked to the 9's, covered in milky, greasy trichomes from top to bottom, efficiently lining every nook and cranny. An ideal density with a perfect trim, cure, and texture, feeling slightly crisp on the outside with an extremely sticky interior. It's colours are a mix of faded greens and purples that nearly appear washed out under a heavy abundance of juicy, snow white trichomes, further enhanced by an array of gorgeous, peach-coloured pistils. The nose is a combination of rich cedar wood and sweet pine, backed by herbal, nutty aromas. It's quite pungent, especially when breaking it up. The flavours are similar but with the inclusion of a peppery spiciness that accents it's initial woodsy, pine sweetness. I love my exotic terps but sometimes the simple things just click. Like a good, nostalgic comfort food. The burn is smooth and moderately greasy, producing a salt and pepper ash. I've had my fair share of GG#4's that lean to opposite sides of the spectrum in terms of effects. I feel like this one is pretty balanced overall with a medium potency to boot, maybe even a little sativa leaning. Uplifting and euphoric, feeling a tingling buzz build behind the eyes, letting you know it's going to be a cerebrally influenced stone. Very focused and creative, also a little talkative, perfect for a wake and bake or social outing. Just enough of a relaxing side to keep it balanced and mellow throughout it's entirety.

Ice Cream - The High Club - July 2021

Full album : https://imgur.com/a/hdDpuOn Genetics : Unknown These gorgeous nugs of Ice Cream are real easy on the eyes with their attractive colour scheme and beautiful bud structure. A combination of delicate light greens and purples mixed in with shades of darker green. Plastered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes and complementary orange pistils that really pop underneath a terrific trim. The cure is on point, leaving the buds feeling dense on the outside with a super sticky interior. Despite just being Ice Cream, this certain cut has an uncanny resemblance to my favourite strain ever, Ice Cream Cake, in both smell and taste. Sweet and creamy notes of vanilla cake followed by an exotic spiciness. It's even a little gassy when you crack a nug apart. I've only had it one other time and it certainly wasn't like this with more of a vanilla/amaretto profile without the creamy dessert features. Amazing flavours on this Ice Cream, offering a pallet coating smoke that brings forth a creamy, sugary, vanilla cake taste followed by dank and spicy undertones. Terrific in both bong and joint as it's incredibly smooth and milky, providing an almost pure white ash with the smallest amount of pepper and a greasy oil ring. The high is a great balance between relaxing and euphoric, bringing on a myriad of effects with a decent potency to accompany them. Calming and uplifting, feeling loose and upbeat after smoking as it helps with minor tension and forces you to ease up and kick back, even feeling extra social and chatty at times with It's stoney cerebral side. I didn't find it to be necessarily heavy or sedating but there can be a minor couch lock if you're already feeling tired or have a lower tolerance, making it the perfect afternoon/evening dessert type strain with a delicious profile to match. Another stellar offering from THC.

Ice Cream β’ Lineage: Unknown β’ Bred by Paradise Seeds β’ Cultivated by Private ACMPR β’ Sourced from @thehighclub.biz β’ ? β’ Bag appeal - medium to large in size these immaculately trimmed buds have a pristine cure and are extremely dense with a slightly sticky snappy texture that is even more sticky inside as well as greasy. A couple different shades of light green with hints of darker green and light pastel purple streaking all throughout and highlighted further by soft orange pistils. Also well kept as adding even more to the already amazing bag appeal is the coating of frosty trichomes giving the buds a frosted appearance and have plenty of visible outer heads β’ ??? β’ Smell/Taste/Burn - the nose straight out of the jar is similar to an earthy Gelato that starts out sweet and creamy and finishes on the spicy side and once busted, releases some minty gas overtones and smells alot like many ICC's I've had before. The taste to me is also like a sweet, slightly creamy, and earthy Gelato profile but with minty overtones and an exhale that becomes more spicy than sweet. Joints burn perfectly even with a nice oil ring and produce a light grey colored ash with some minor peppering. β’ ? β’ High - you can feel your eyelids start getting heavy about the same time as finishing a spliff along with a calming haze of euphoria that is sure to ease away any stress, depression, and/or anxiety. Very quickly relaxation starts to build making for a slightly indica dominant high that helps alot with my chronic back pain and has a sedating head stone to go with it. Consuming larger amounts can result in deeper relaxation and even couchlock while when consuming in moderation will still allow you to fully function β’ ? β’ Overall this is yet another amazing offering from THC and these guys just keep blowing me away with the premium flower they source, not like alot of these other bulk moms. Amazing bag appeal, a great terp profile that translates wonderfully, light grey ash and greasy burn, and has nice potent effects that last long. I rate this Quality 9.4/10
