Blue Lights - The Natural Remedy - January 2021

This gorgeously caked out and purpled out bud is called Blue Lights. It's parents are Northen Lights and Blue Dream resulting in the creation of this fabulous strain. It's trimmed decent enough and cured to absolute perfection. The buds are of a semi denseness with a nice spongeyness. Buds were on the small to medium size. Has a sweet blueberry aroma almost candy like. Upon smoking I tasted a succelent sweet blueberry taste. The blue gene comes out very well. The smoke was ultra smooth. Burned perfect in a joint being even, slow and continuous. Had a gray ash and a grease ringer. This is a medium potency balanced hybrid. I was a bit angry until I smoked some Blue Lights. It immediately calm me down. It had me feeling a bit happy and focused. I had a short boost of engery from this. After a bit a relaxation crept up and washed over me making me lazy like. Quality - 8.6 Value - 8.4

*This was part of a sample pack kindly sent in exchange for an honest review These visually didnt look the best when it came to shape although to me the main things that matters is the effects and taste of an edible. Gummies with an even coating of sugar with a variation of fruit flavours. These had a very interesting airy light texture that had a bouncy back. I thought the texture was enjoyable although the taste had a very noticeable weed presence that made it unpleasant to eat. It did have a sweetness that came through although it was really dominated by that weed taste. It also left a very mild numbness on my tongue after chewing a couple of them. Ended up eating 2.5 gummies which would equal to 125mg (half of the container). When it came to high they hit me after about 40 minutes getting a slight calmness and pressure type feeling around the eyes. An hour in I felt a little more dopey/zoned out although not at a high intesity, eventually leading to a light couch lock wanting to kick back and relax, although I could still do any tasks needed. It also did a good job at relieving pain in my back really starting to notice it a bit farther into the high. Overall expected a bit more potency from 125mg going by some other edibles ive had. It still had a decent high and I was definitely happy with the pain relief it provided. The taste was also pretty weedy which was a big negative to these as it was not pleasant to eat. Quality: 6.5

Very photogenic and impressive bag appeal with a cure that is equally as great, leaving them with just the right amount of stickiness. A little extra sugar leaf on certain nugs but overall the trim is decent. An aroma profile that borrows traits from each parent as it offers notes of sweet, earthy kush, followed by nutty, herbal undertones. Reminiscent of certain herbal tea's in ways. The terpenes carry over to flavour, providing the same sweet, kushy nuances and ending with an earthy, herbal exhale. An effortlessly smooth smoke, burning to a fluffy white ash that's followed by a quick building resin ring. The high is somewhat of a creeper-not in the sense of delayed effects, but rather the potency as time progresses. Real heady and euphoric, provoking wandering thoughts, making it difficult to offer your attention to multiple things at once. Very relaxing as well, which only attributes to the calming body buzz it eventually delivers. Would definitely recommend this indica hybrid for afternoon or evening use as it leaves you happily lazy and not too functional at all.

Michelangelo Hash - The Natural Remedy - December 2020

https://imgur.com/a/SvAVo1E Made from a Moroccan strain called Ardela, this Michelangelo is another beautiful hash that I've tried from TNR. A very soft and malleable, clay like texture that's easily sculpted into any desired shape or form. Dark brown in colour with a lighter reddish-brown center, resembling a tootsie roll. Extremely strong smelling hash, expelling rich aromas of fresh earth, mint, and dark chocolate. Very pleasant and amongst my favourite hashes to date. The flavours it produces are just as enjoyable, whether it be mixed with flower, tobacco, or simply on it's own. Silky smooth and easy on the lungs. A relaxing and mellow high that brings on a perfect balance of cerebral and euphoric effects. It's not overpowering in a knock out sense but there is a body buzzing couch lock that can creep up over time, offering a little sedation to the mix that can leave one in a sleepy, tired state. Another quality hash from TNR that I would surely get again in the future.

Red Lebanese Hash - The Natural Remedy - December 2020

More Pictures : https://imgur.com/a/CknZv7x My second time having this Red Lebanese from TNR. This one is less reddish in appearance, sporting more of a burgundy shade with a lighter hued interior. The texture is a little solid at first but even holding it for a couple minutes leaves it pretty malleable and workable but still of a harder density than the prior time. The picture above is after splitting it in half as the 3.5 chunk came in a very neat little brick which can also be seen in the album. Other than the appearance, everything else is identical to last batch. As soon as I smelled this hash I knew I was in for a treat. Aromas of fresh earth and soil as it's so rich and herbal, with sweet and spicy undertones. Also translates to flavour where it really shins. Very tasty hash, with a silky smoothness that's unrivalled by any I've tried. Amazing by itself in a pipe where you can really taste everything but also mixes and compliments flower in a bowl or joint where it fills the air with a pleasant and aromatic, incense like aroma. The high it produces is excellent even though it doesn't excel at being a super potent one. It acts like more of a euphoric, sativa driven buzz at first, being very uplifting and noticeably social, with a mild and mellow body stone that gets stronger with time and amount consumed. I can smoke on this stuff all day long and feel great. A slight burn out afterwards but no major crash. I've tried nearly every hash TNR has and they all have been of exceptional quality, this one being my favourite so far. The only one I've yet to try is the Michelangelo hash which will be next.

Watermelon - The Natural Remedy - December 2020

More pics : http://imgur.com/a/Gts52sT Just like the Blue Lights, this Watermelon is one I thoroughly enjoyed and it looks even better this time around as the nugs are plumper. Everything else is identical however. Gorgeous, vibrant colours on display as they sport a combination of soft greens with dark purple accents, accompanied by a mix of orange and brown pistils. A bit of remaining sugar leaf as well. Frosty and sticky to the touch, definitely most suited for a grinder. The profile on this Watermelon is it's strong suit as it smells absolutely delightful. Not necessarily like watermelon but it's very sweet and fruity, reminiscent of juicy red berries, maybe even a little strawberry. The flavour is equally as enjoyable, offering those same sweet berry terps with an added herbal touch upon exhaling. Very smooth and clean burning, producing a milky smoke and resinous oil ring. A strain with unknown genetics but is said to be an indica dominant hybrid in it's effects. I would say that sounds very accurate to what I experienced as it definitely embodies a few telltale indica traits. An extremely relaxing and easy going buzz that gets stronger with time, washing away any negativity or anxiety as it's also uplifting and upbeat. Not a knock out or sedating type at all but more so an indica that can be enjoyed at any time.

It's identical this time around as well. Dense, greasy, super photogenic buds that are wonderfully coloured and coated in purple streaks and sugary white trichomes. Extremely caked and sticky with a precise trim and terrific cure to follow. One of those times where you can't put the jar down as the aromas are very addicting. Sweet fragrances of blueberries that are accented by earthy and herbal undertones. Very aromatic and full flavoured, providing a tasty smoke that remains smooth from start to finish. Great burn as well, leaving behind a clean white ash and greasy oil ring. I found the effects to be equally balanced in the early stages of the high. An even mix of cerebral and euphoric qualities that make it great for focus related tasks as well as creative ones. It's also uplifting and relaxing, giving it a mellow and happy demeanour. As the high wore off, it left me slightly burned out and lazy, enforcing it's indica dominance in the long run. A very enjoyable strain altogether and one of the best I've had from TNR.

Cherry Blossom - The Natural Remedy - December 2020

More Pictures : https://imgur.com/a/0HXEeo7 Saved my favourite one for last. Cherry Blossom. A strain with unknown genetics, although rumoured to involve Berry Blossom and Cherry Pie. A beautiful forest green appearance, sporting a dense, tight bud structure, topped off by a magnitude of cloudy white trichomes. They are also populated by a plethora of lovely orange pistils and subtle shades of purple. Moderately sticky and trimmed very neatly. Staying true to it's name, this one smelled remarkably like fresh cherries at first. There are other fruity nuances detected after a long sniff as well, adding notes of sweet berries to the mix, followed by a touch of earth. The same terps carry over to the taste, just a little less pronounced, offering a sweet, berry accented smoke that fades into a bit of a pine flavour. Effortlessly smooth and easy on the lungs, burning with a light coloured ash and decent grease ring. An indica leaning high, although one would never guess it to be so, as it begins feeling rather sativa in nature. Opening up with a cerebral stone that feels very focused and clear headed. Halfway through the high is when it starts exuding more indica themed tendencies as it transitions into a super calming, relaxing stone. It's not an instant knock out but it's definitely the type to have you lazily yawning afterwards.
