Sweet Jesus - The Natural Remedy - July 2020

This is my first time trying this strain which is a 2017 High Times Sativa winner and a cross of Jack the Ripper X Hell's OG. Very dense and solid bud structure on this cone shaped nug, feeling the weight when handled. Olive green in colour, topped with a decent layer of long stalked crystals and rusty orange hairs. Not extremely sticky but not dry either, sitting somewhere comfortably in between.
Definitely not a common aroma/flavour profile, with the closest strain I can compare it to being Crunchberries. The smell is a mix of sweet and sour berries with hints of pepper and herbs. Identical taste when smoked as well, with it's spicy nature giving the throat a bit of a tingle. It was still very smooth, with a light smoke that was easy on the exhale. Also a hint of citrus in there that wasn't noticeable in the smell. Burned with a salt and pepper coloured ash.
The sativa effects were very much highlighted early on in the high. An almost immediate reaction after smoking one average sized bowl. Definitely the Jack at work with a racing kick of energy and a powerful, potent head high. As time went on, the high transitioned into more of a body buzzing stone that had relaxing, euphoric traits as well, treading more into hybrid waters. Great wake n' bake or getting things done strain as there is next to no burn out.

I first thought to myself gosh this Gosh taste some good. This strain comes from Green Crack and Sliver Haze. Another strong Sativa dominate strain, this is ridiculously tasteful. A smooth smoke with piney/minty/citrus taste.

Triple Cheese - The Natural Remedy - July 2020
by /u/thechronickid_00
β’ Jul 05, 2020
This Triple Cheese is a potent cross of Original Cheese x Blue Cheese, and is new to TNR's menu. Like most cheeses, it's not going to win any beautify contests as it sports a bushier appearance with some extra foliage. Definitely has those familiar pink/pale orange pistils that I've come to recognize after having cheese strains multiple times. Decent trichome coverage and a real nice density to the buds which are slightly sticky and break off the stems with a good snap.
The aroma is a pungent mix of cheese, dank earth, and a slight berry sweetness. Not really your pungent or rancid type of cheese, but rather more gentle and herbal. As for the taste, it isn't mainly cheese but rather a mild combination of sweet earth, followed by subtle hints of berries and cheese. Burns fairly clean and smooth on the throat despite it's thicker smoke which can pack a punch to the lungs, especially in a bong.
The effects are indica dominant, but not in an overbearing or sleepy fashion. Instead, this one promotes a very relaxing and happy go lucky type of buzz that enables you to put your worries to rest. Offering both mind and body effects but in a tranquil and balanced manner. Great choice for wanting to wither away on the couch after dinner and wind down until bedtime.

Nepali Temple - The Natural Remedy - June 2020

I always love trying a new strain such as this Nepali Temple which is a cross of Nepali OG and Temple. Beautiful looking, uniformly shaped buds, with a vibrant combination of light and dark greens. Very good trichome coverage as well that really allow the thick, colourful orange pistils to stand out. A moderate moisture level that makes for a semi sticky texture and grinds up to a fluffy consistency.
The profile of this strain is very reminiscent to a few old-school classics I've had. Nothing exotic or gassy which is sometimes nice, and instead offers a very aromatic, almost incense like smell and flavour. Sweet, kind of like honey, with peppery, nutty, and piney undertones. Smooth smoking with zero harshness other than the typical throat tickle a peppery strain can cause. Burns with a salt and pepper ash, mostly salt.
Known to be a hybrid and I would definitely agree to that as the high seemed very balanced and even keeled. Actually quite a potent one too and it took me by surprise in a bit of a creeper fashion. One minute you are wondering if you feel high and the next you are quickly reminded that yes, you are indeed high as a kite. Very euphoric and conversation promoting when smoked with company. Spaced out head high and a slightly couch locking body buzz all come together over the course of the relatively long lasting stone.

Stoney Patch Gummies - The Natural Remedy - June 2020
by /u/thechronickid_00
β’ Jun 17, 2020
These Stoney Patch gummies taste nearly identical to actual Sour Patch Kids but also with a flavour of cannabis that is somewhat strong since these are 35mg a piece. The very sour nature of them helps to balance it out and they are rather tasty for an edible gummie. The entire contents of the package was 350mg THC Distillate (10 gummies of 35mg)
The effects were mellow but offered a tingly buzz with a clear headed, functioning high after eating half the package. Similar to smoking distillate. Definitely more effective on individuals with a lower tolerance as THC distillate usually is a 'gentle' high if you will, opposed to full spectrum which I would love to see a version of in the future. I can see these being ideal for someone who isn't familiar with edibles looking to microdose discreetly.
