I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website prior to sales - Quality: 7.5/10 Value: 8/10 Appeal: Dense nug with darker yellowish-green tones and some purple coming through on the larger leaves. The trichomes have developed amber heads, which are usually associated to more of a couch-lock high. Smell: This one smells like lemon drops! Very strong lemon terps coming through with a hint of diesel that lingers at the end. Grinding up the bud brings out some sweetness which I like. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls salt and pepperish. The bud is a bit too dry which makes for a slightly harsher hit. High: Very nicely balanced hybrid. The high is uplifting and relaxing, it's a nice smoke to play video games with some friends. It unfortunately leaves me quite drained and somewhat couch-locked after a few hours, I'd recommend this as an evening smoke. Notes: All in all I've had a positive experience with The Smoking Monkeys. I recommend them if you're looking for reasonably priced flower and good customer service, which seems to be lacking with some moms these days. God's Green Crack / The Smoking Monkeys / December 2020

I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website prior to sales - Quality: 6.5/10 Value: 6/10 Appeal: Visually very appealing nug, the leaves are a healthy mix of greens and purples with nice orange pistils sticking out here and there. The leaves are covered in crystal trichomes, the bud may have been overtrimmed leaving very few heads on the outside. Smell: I get mostly earthy/musky tones from this one, maybe a little bit of spice at the end. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls burn salt and pepperish. The bud is a bit too dry which makes for a slightly harsher hit. High: Unfortunately a hit and miss for me on that one. I don't really feel the effects hit me, maybe it's a bit too much of a light smoke. I tried it a few different times at different times of day to see if it was me but I had the same results every time. I haven't tried other versions of this strain so I unfortunately can't say much more about how the high should be. Notes: All in all I've had a positive experience with The Smoking Monkeys. I recommend them if you're looking for reasonably priced flower and good customer service, which seems to be lacking with some moms these days. I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website prior to sales - Quality: 7.2/10 Value: 7/10 Appeal: Nicely grown bud with a dense structure, the leaves are mostly bright green with some colourful purple leaves scattered around. The leaves are covered in a healthy amount of clear trichomes with bright orange pistils. Smell: Love this one, I'm immediately hit with tropical terps. Mango, papaya and some citrus undertones really come through as soon as I opened the bag. Grinding the bud seems to have muted the smell a bit and brought out more earthy/grassy terps. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls salt and pepperish. It's a decently smooth smoke, maybe a bit on the lighter side making it not too harsh. High: The high on this one is a bit more subtle than others, maybe even a tad too much for my liking. Being a sativa-dominant flower, I get a mostly cerebral buzz that takes a bit to kick in but once it does I feel alert and I'm able to be productive. Nothing extra, this one is good anytime of day with moderation. Notes: All in all I've had a positive experience with The Smoking Monkeys. I recommend them if you're looking for reasonably priced flower and good customer service, which seems to be lacking with some moms these days. Gelato #33 / The Smoking Monkeys / December 2020

I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website prior to sales - Quality: 8.2/10 Value: 8/10 Appeal: This Gelato 33 is not as purple as some other examples, the flower itself being a nice mix of greens with a healthy amount of orange pistils coming through. Once you crack it open you can see the leaves are covered in crystal-like trichomes. I'd say the cure is one of the nicest out of the strains I received. Smell: I get mostly earthy tones coming out of this one, with a little bit of pine smell coming through at the end. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls burn grey/white. It is a very smooth smoke, the bud seems to have been properly flushed and cured which makes it easy to grind and makes for a nice smoke. High: I can pretty much copy and paste wikileaf's description of its effects in here, the high was spot on. Instant rush to the dome that nestled behind my eyes while it fuzzed my brain. After a while it settled down, leaving me smiling and happy without feeling too heavy. Probably my favorite high from all the strains I received. I'd say the biggest downfall is the effects don't seem to last very long, kind of a one punch strain. Notes: All in all I've had a positive experience with The Smoking Monkeys. I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website - Quality: 7.7/10 Value: 8.2/10 Appeal: Very frosty nug, covered in trichomes from top to bottom, although the bud itself seems to have been over-trimmed a bit. The leaves have nice purple and green hues with some orange and green pistils poking through. The nugs are quite dense and the cure isn't the best, leaving the bud a bit too humid. Smell: This is a great example of a Pink related strain. I'm immediately hit with gas that stings the nose in the best way. This bud also has a faint musky smell to it, almost reminiscent of the Breath lineup. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls burn mostly black. Definitely not the smoothest smoke, probably attributed to the cure. High: Along with the smell, the high is spot on. Immediate cerebral effects, it hit me right behind the eyes and left a tingling sensation around my face. Once the first effects mellow down I'm left quite tired, unfortunately the effects don't last very long so it's definitely a late night toke. Notes: All in all I've had a positive experience with The Smoking Monkeys. I'll be rating value based on the price posted on the website - Quality: 7/10 Value: 8.5/10 Appeal: Very dense bud with an equally dense covering of trichomes, the leaves are a mix of yellowish green and dark purple with dark amber pistils squished around the dense flower. The bud structure is a bit too dense, making it harder to finely grind. Smell: This one smells very meaty with a citrus undertone. I can almost compare it to cured meats or something, I really enjoy it as it's a little bit unique. Definitely has a spicy vibe to it. Smoke: I smoke out of a bong so I can't really say too much about the quality of the burn, but my bowls burn salt and pepperish. Nothing much more to write about here, very standard smoke. High: This one is a mild hitter. At first I didn't feel much but the high sorta crept up on me and settled into my body. Doesn't really make me tired as it's not the most potent smoke but this makes it perfect for an anytime relaxation smoke. I still feel decently energetic and I'm left with a small case of the munchies. I assume the more bowls I smoke the hungrier I'll get, so pace yourselves! A surge of Mike Tyson has popped up all throughout our community on numerous occasions. Despite that, this particular cultivar has eluded my grasp so I am very grateful for @the.smoking.monkeys for allowing me to indulge in these genetics. A full bud structure dominated by darker forest green and muted midnight blue leaves is speckled with trichomes that lend a noticable stickiness to this flower that when paired with the density, will prove to be a challenge for even the most seasoned grinders. Deep, complex hash and spice notes lend themselves well to the more dominant aroma of pure fuel that when ignited, tastes good enough to make your mouth water. In regards to potency, there is a particular set of shoes to fill with a cultivar that carries this type of name, and I'm happy to say that after being put through the process, it fits exceptionally well.
