Durban Poison is very enjoyable to smoke. When you burn it you get a sweet fruity taste with some skunky undertones. Burns quite light and is definitely a day time smoke. Great for getting shit done. This was my favourite from the mix n match oz i got. Hawaiian punch has a very strong fruity scent with sour/skunk undertones with it. Potency is good for a sativa as 2 dynavap bowls get me going nicely. This sativa imo is more of a wake n bake on a saturday morning to watch your favourite tv shows/play some games rather than the focused and alertness i get from something like Red Congo which would be nice for reading. The high starts off cerebrally but there is definitely a crash in the end with some laziness and munchies on the tail end. When you smoke it you get a sweet and earthy taste with some skunk. The smell comes out a lot when you burn it. Burns quite light and gives you SOME good munchies. Great for evening use. I have tried 5 different AAA sativas from TSBC over the past year or so and found them all to be of very good quality. When I saw this one with the very specific rating of AAA+/AAAA- for $45.00/7grams it was an easy choice to make it part of my next order. The shipping was fast and the packaging good as always. I ordered it with a boveda pack and it arrived very fresh and sticky. The aroma was more cream than strawberry but quite strong. At first I thought I had received most of the 7 grams in one huge nug but it was 5 small to mediums all stuck together and slightly squished. The colors are quite beautiful. Bright green and dark purple with brilliant orange hairs. It was a bit sticky in the grinder but not too bad. Vaped at 190c it did taste like strawberries but more like the greenish strawberries I used to pick from my mom's garden as a kid then like juicy ripe strawberries from the market. It also again had a creamy flavour to match the aroma. I have to wonder if the word cough in the strain name is meant ironically as the vapor is super smooth and there was a lot of it. This is the most potent sativa I have had from TSBC and one of the most potent I have ordered from any MOM. I began to feel noticeably high after only a few draws which is quite unusual when I am vaping. After one session I was pretty thoroughly baked and ready to go out and get some exercise. Like any potent sativa this one should be treated with caution if you are inclined towards anxiety. I was happy and energized though with no noticeable burnout at the end. Overall, and in honor of the AAA+/AAAA- rating I give this one 8.75/10. TSBC as most of you already know offers reward points for reviews.

This one was given to me for the review. Nice buds, good structure, dense but still soft. Really sticky, my grinder had a hard time hehe. Nose is rich but still classic. All the gas notes from the 94 Octane are felt here but we add some kind of floral, Pink Kush type... It's more complex than it's parents. The exhale is quite minty, probably from the OG Kush lineage. Hugh is intense, hazy, I got lost for several minutes trying to figure out what I was doing... Or who was I... Well after a couple minutes all came back to normal haha big couch lock, definitely an evening strain up to late night. I did really enjoy this strain, less straight forward than it's parents.

Another day another strain in the mail! Smelled really good like sweet fruits. Burned hella smooth, and smoked amazing, was really pleasant and smooth. Ashe burnt white and clean. Didn't feel tired or burnt out at all but had a small head buzz. If you're a first time smoker I would recommend this strain!

TopShelf BC order early Feb 2021 REVIEW. Lemon Sour Diesel : Overall rating 5/5 stars. Very potent, does not feel like an AA+ and more like a AAA! A few seeds and stems in the batch, but otherwise it is coated in a beautiful white layer and soft to the touch. Dense weed, not too dry which is unlike some other Sativa's. Bag appeal is amazing with a citrus smell and tangy taste coming from the bright green and orange tendrils. In comparison to TopShelf's Hawaiian Punch, this strain is less tasty with more of an earthy palette. The Sativa hit is very energizing then slowly turns cerebral with a calming effect, overall the high is strong but not overpowering. Lemon sour diesel is perfect for working a dayshift or for a bike ride under the sun! Black Diamond : Overall rating 4.5/5 stars. Bag appeal is really nice with a good smell (a bit cheesy smelling which I’m not a fan of) lots of white trichomes covering the deep purple and greens throughout the strain. Upon smoking, this is a HEAVY hitting kush with a minimal taste that will surely leave you inda-couch. I personally like the minimal taste because you can still taste a bit of berry with earthy undertones. I love to roll this one up with a flavoured blueberry hemp wrap, it burns slow which I found sometimes challenging to clear a packed bowl of this! The effects go straight to the head at first then eases into the body, feeling relaxed the whole way through. In the past, I found that TopShelf's "Kush Berry" strain is super, which is luckily very similar to their Black Diamond but with a slightly better taste.
