Gonna sip some of this tonight and review, anyone had this before? Any recommendations on how much to take? Thanks errrbody happy Friday! Edit: forgot to say their customer service is great. One flavour I ordered was out of stock and they emailed me I think within half an hour to offer another higher priced item instead. Because I ordered kind of late in the day Tuesday I probably wouldn’t have this by the weekend if they slacked emailing me about a replacement. So that’s a big plus to TCC already ? good looks to them.

Packaged well in a mylar bag that had enough air to protect the bud structure and making them appear untouched upon arrival. Buds themselves were medium sized with a near perfect trim and moderate density. The buds structure appeared wild with bright green backgrounds, winding rich orange pistils and a small amount of purple/black sugarleaves. The entirety of the nugs were coated in a dense layer of complete trichomes which were an array of multicoloured heads (amber, milky and clear). Smell was a mix of pleasant sweet aromas alongside some mild berry undertones. In a joint produced a thick sweet berry smoke with a slow even burn and a greasy oil ring that popped up a 1/3 through smoking. Found the buzz hit with some enjoyable uplifting vibes that had me smiling ear to ear and erasing any stress from my mind. Found the high became more balanced 40 minutes later, with a heavy body load that had me feeling much lazier and more relaxed. A crazy bud structure, sweet aromas, smooth smoke with berry flavors and a nice hybrid high make this a strain I'll be searching for in the future.

The name of the strain is fitting as the buds appeared completely "caked" with resin which gave the nugs a whitewashed appearance. Bright and dark green backgrounds had to fight to be seen beneath the thick frosty coating. Some well placed dark purple sugarleaves helped provide contrast to the white exterior and fiery orange pistils. Stunning visuals all around. Smells were distinct sweet and creamy vanilla aromas which had me anxiously waiting to smoke a jay. Burn was impressive being slow and even with a oil ring well below the ember after only 3 tokes. The flavor mirrored the smell well with similar sweet vanilla tastes plus some nutty noted on exhale. Effects were a heavily indica leaning hybrid which initially hit with some hazey eye and uplifting vibes. However, soon had me feeling overly relaxed with some strong sedative effects that had me fighting couchlock an hour later. Thick coating of resin, tasty smoke and potent Indica leaning effects made this my favourite flower of this round.

Tight olive shaped buds presented with a sugared exterior atop a light green background and long winding rusty orange pistils. There was also some dark green fringing on black sugar leaves that were again coated in a large amount of visible trichomes. On closer inspection there were numerous densely packed cloudy heads with some smaller quantities of amber and clear heads. While breaking the buds apart it was hard to ignore how sticky the interior of the buds were. Smells were less noticeable upon arrival but as the buds were broken down; it had a powerful nose of bright sour and citrus aromas alongside some sweet herbal undertones. The strain burned well producing a thick flavorful smoke; decent oil ring well below the ember ½ way through the joint and finishing with a white ash with minor peppering. Flavors that came through were identical to the smell as the buds were busted up; bright citrus and more noticeable herbal notes. Found the buzz on this strain hit mainly above the shoulders. With dominant Sativa effects providing energy to burn and a uplifted vibe felt between the eyes. I didn’t notice any sedative effects with this one at all which has me leaning towards daytime use in the future.

**Grand Daddy Purple (AAAA) from True Craft Cannabis** **Visual:** It was dark forest green in colour and it had patches of bright green and dark purples. It had more of a tight compact crystal and patches of brown hairs. The buds were very dense. **Nose:** The nose was almost like a savory cheese with some sweet fruitiness and earthiness.  **Cut/Roll/Grind:** It was very easy to bust up and to cut and it was a bit sticky. **Taste:** The flavour was mainly earthy and a bit of a sweet berry exhale. No cheese or anything funky in the taste. **Burn:** The burn was pretty good. **Potency/Effects:** Good potency on this Grand Daddy Purple. It wasn’t punchy but the potency built up well. It was a relaxing and chill effect that slowed me down a bit but I still had an alertness in my head. **Grapefruit Cookies from True Craft Cannabis** **Visual:** The colour was a light army green with some dark green/purple leaves near the tips. There was lots of nice crystal all over and throughout. It was a bit of the fuzzy crystal and it had a creamy colour to it. It was a bit squishy with some denseness at the tips. **Nose:** I got a bit of that cookies smell which was baked goods but it was a bit sour as well. When I opened it up it was much more pungent and it had lots more of that cookies smell. I also got a creamy vanilla, cookie, sweet and sour and a bit of citrus even. **Cut/Roll/Grind:** It was easy to grind and to cut. **Taste:** It had some good flavour! I got lots of the cookie and some herbalness to it and a tiny bit of the sour. Very nice! **Burn:** The burn was good and it had a nice heavy smoke. **Potency/Effects:** This Grapefruit Cookies hit me more so in my head than it did my nose. It was very uplifting and energetic and it made me very chatty, haha. I got some neat creative thoughts from it and I was ready to go with its energy boosting effects. There were tons of fat crystal all over and throughout and it had a creamy look to it. It had some light green colours and some dark green/black leaves. It looked good enough to eat and it had a very craft look and feel. It was a bit fluffy and it had a bit of a stiff crystalized structure. Nose: The nose was a creamy vanilla and baked goods smell. When I opened it up I got more of that and also some sweet earthiness. Cut/Roll/Grind: It was very easy to bust up and to cut. Busting it really fluffed it up. I really liked the structure. Taste: The creamy vanilla came through well with a bit of the earthiness. Burn: It burnt great. Nice and slow and steady. Potency/Effects: This Ice Cream Cake was amazing! Great visuals, great nose and flavour and nice potency and effects! It had a bit of a punch and it was a bit of a creeper as well. It had some good all-around buzzy effects that I could feel in my head and in my body. It was very relaxing and long lasting. Loved it! This was my first order with True Craft Cannabis after hearing lots of good things about their flower, and I was not disappointed. I placed an order for an ounce of Ice Cream Cake and an ounce of Grape LA last Monday which shipped the next day and arrived today, the following Sunday. I didn’t expect it to come today; it was originally slated to arrive Friday then was delayed until Monday. The tracking hasn’t even updated, it still says it’s going to arrive tomorrow. It came well packaged, not in jars which I had expected but I don’t mind at all. I talked to Rick before ordering and he recommended me the Black Diamond for my needs even though I was interested in the Ice Cream Cake, which is much more expensive, so that was great of him. He also threw in a few extra grams of Grape LA since it was going on sale even cheaper the next day, so just great customer service! I ended up getting the ICC anyway and asked for a sample of the Black Diamond which he included along with a sample of the Gorilla Glue. Have yet to try them but will review them when I review the Grape LA. The Ice Cream Cake is some beautiful flower, it’s completely coated in trichomes and has a nice light green coloration with some purple leaves underneath all the white. It’s denser than I was expecting based on appearance. The buds are small to medium sized, and very very sticky. Despite being well sealed (not squished) they were all stuck together when I received them. Very impressive flower. Someone asked me if it was covered in kief when they saw the pictures! The smell is very nice as well, strong and pungent, a nice scent that’s hard to describe. Most people would say vanilla I think; it reminds me a lot of wedding cake, but gassier. It is a very strong, complex smell for sure, and it does translate into the taste. It fills your mouth with flavour that lingers, hard to describe but very nice. It smokes just as well as it looks too, completely smooth tokes, no harshness in the throat. The ash isn’t completely white but this smokes smoother than some strains I have with whiter ash so I’m not sure how much that matters. The high is potent, but a bit of a creeper. It starts with a head rush after the toke that develops into a full body stone. I didn’t notice how high I was at first, when it hit me it hit me though. It didn’t put me to sleep but I think it would later at night. Seems like a very nice hybrid strain that certainly has some painkilling ability as well. A nice daytime or nighttime smoke in my opinion. Overall I rate this strain a solid 10/10, it exceeded my expectations. Amazing appearance, great smell and taste, very strong high, this is absolutely some craft quality cannabis. I’ll certainly order it again at some point, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet!
