Death Mint Cookies from High Grade Aid, $192/oz

Picked up a half oz of this batch and it’s as good as the last batch but a bit different. Nugs overall were larger but a bit less trimmed. Smoke is still very tasty, clean burn, and super_potent high. The nose on this one seems more dank and... less cookie smelling than the last, which I like.

Bought another oz of this once I received the 14 and it’s on the way! I definitely enjoy this strain.

HGA helped me with some questions over the long weekend when they’re not supposed to be working. Quality service as always from these folks.

**Death Mint Ultra by High Grade Aid** - $140/14g, discounted to $60 with coupons

Grabbed a 14 of this while the 30% off sale was running. Paired coupons and points and got a very good deal on this lovely flower.

Looks similar to the Death Mint Cookies except slightly chunkier buds.... This is a cross with LA Ultra so it is a bit more indica-leaning. Smokes very nicely in a joint, with mainly white ash and a decent oil ring.

Buds weren’t too large, the biggest is the one pictured but I honestly love the taste too much to care and even the smalls smoke wonderfully. Great cure, great manicure.. can’t say anything wrong about this one.

Pine Sour from High Grade Aid, July 2020 - $88/ half oz

Nice big, bright green buds with a sweet, piney/diesel smell. Buds were well trimmed and coated with crystals. Had a pretty good burn and solid sativa buzz, not as potent as the White Congo but a smoother smoke. Was discounted due to s...eeds, I looked through all my buds and only found 2.

With discounts and points I only ended up paying around $65 for the half oz and some sativa gummies so it was a good deal overall. Shipping and service from HGA were on point as usual.

Big, round nugs that smell piney/ earthy. Dark green with purple hues. Decent manicure.

Strong hybrid effects that get overwhelmed by the indica dominance. Was going to review this last night but fell asleep.

Again, as with the White ...Congo I’m not 100% satisfied with the burn. The ashes are not really white but more grey and as a result the flavor is somewhat burnt tasting. I’m hoping a few days in the mason jar will improve this, and I’ll edit the review if it does. So far, the first strain I got from HGA (Death Mint Cookies) has burnt by far the best.

White Congo by High Grade Aid

Smell: A-

Skunky/ cheesy/ fruity, really interesting mix of smells. Bit of a harsh smell to the smoke.

Appearance: A-

Big bright green buds with lots of dark orange hairs. Very nice trim to it. Mostly good sized buds but the top of my... biggest bud was kind of just.. pinched off? Not sure if someone wanted to smoke it or it suffered from mold.

Taste: B

Kind of disappointed that it didn’t take like it smelled but maybe it needs some time in a jar. Only smoked one joint so far I’m hoping it improves a bit. The ashes were salt and pepper, not as white as I hoped.

Buzz: A+

Awesome cerebral sativa high that left me baked but functional, lasted quite a while.

House of Glass Shatter (5 pack) - High Grade Aid

Ordered these before the end of the sale because the price was pretty great. I ended up paying $17 a gram for these ones after I redeemed points and a coupon.

Delivery was quick, I got it in less than a week while the flower I ordere...d in mid June took nearly 3 weeks.

I’ve only tried the blue moon rocks so far but it’s a very nice consistency, easily snaps, yellow/ blonde colour and packs a solid punch. ripped a medium-sized dab two hours ago and still feeling it.

Bubba Skunk by High Grade Aid

**Smell: A**

Very skunky with kush notes. As soon as I opened the packaging I could immediately smell the dankness! Smoked in a joint and the yard was stinking of skunk.

**Appearance: A-**

I got my order in bags of 7g due to a Mix n M...atch deal so I did get quite a few small buds. The buds themselves are very crystally, dark green with orange hairs. Well cured and proper humidity.

**Taste: A-**

Not the smoothest smoke on the first joint but my second burnt better, a bit weird. I expected a bit more skunk taste but it was more on the kushy side. Still very nice.

**Buzz: A+**

A very quick hitting high that starts behind the eyes and soon wears into a heavy body buzz. I got some serious munchies after eating this.. beware.See More

Sweet, flowery cookie smell with a peppery skunk undertone when you break open the bud. Smoked a joint and that stunk up my backyard pretty bad in a good way.

**Appea...rance: A**

This sale was on for small nugs so I expected to receive a lot of .5 - 1g buds but I was honestly pretty impressed. I got 4-5 buds over 2g and one really solid top that I’m looking forward to blazing up. Some nugs are a bit stretchy but the manicure is very nice and the trichomes are insane. Super sticky buds and well cured; the stems snapped clean but the buds weren’t crumbling apart.

**Taste: A**

Smooth smoke. Sweet and fragrant on the inhale, nice gas/diesel taste on the exhale. Burned very clean down to the roach, super white ashes.

**Buzz: A+**

Damn, this shit hits hard. I’d been on a bit of a tolerance break the past few days and this might not have been the best thing to smoke. But it was pretty awesome. I had a smile plastered on my face and felt energetic enough to go play basketball although couldn’t hit a damn shot lol.
