This flower came nice and fresh, spongy without any crispness. The aroma/terpene profile is also lively and hits you with a minty gassy funk. I feel like it was rated AAAA- instead of full AAAA mostly due to its bud... structure as the DMC, DCM, and rain of frost seem to all be on the same level of potency as this, however these earth bind cookies lack the nice full dense structure of those other strains. The high is a very good one for any indica lover, feels close to 90% indica with heavy handed potent effects. Great night smoke awesome for insomnia or just lounging on the couch. Awesome bag appeal, super frosty, dense compact buds. The aroma and terpene profile is similar to the DMC/CVL strains. Mint cookie with hints of chocolate and a background of gas. The cure is pretty on point, burns great in the bong quite smooth for its potency and burns really white ash from what I... can see smoking 1 toke popper style in my bong.

If your familiar with the DMC(death mint cookie) /CVL(chocolate vanilla lover) strains this is on the same level with a more of a sativa vibe too it as I recall the strain is CVL x platinum GSC if you had purchased it when sold by jj for cookie grower you'll notice a very significant improvement in quality over the years. This batch of LA confidential came as very large bulbous buds with good moisture and they are fairly sticky. However there is a complete lack of any terpenes possibly due to being shipped during the heatwave but that's only a guess. The buzz is actually quite decent for lacking terpenes has that... classic trippy cerebral indica high the strain is known for. The other downfall is that the buds are quite leafy. I'm never pleased when my buds are not tasty but I can't be too upset having bought this during a flash sale that knocked it down too $115 (maybe terps were gone before shipping?). This batch of GSC was slightly mute but still has a nice mild cookie terp profile. Bag appeal is great with lots of purples and caked trichomes like I would expect from a quality batch. Smokes smooth with a fairly potent buzz. If it was fresher or restocked I would reccomend this to any hybrid lover...s. I dont buy GSC often but this is truly one of the better batches I've tried, would have been nice to experience the full terpene profile. So before opening the bag first thing I noticed was very appealing frosty flowers with a lot of glittering trichomes. Unfortunately upon opening I wasn't met with much odour at all. I get a very mild creamy nutty maple-like flavour. Very unfortunate that the terps were muted as I looked forward ...to this uniquely terpy sounding flower. The buzz I received from it was quite hybrid leaning strong cerebral effects although it is very apparent that it is indica dominant. First thing I notice with this flower is a very great bag appeal. Very colorful buds forest green with purples, and firey orange hairs. Sparking trichomes. My least fav. thing is that it's slightly muted and not the tastiest (strength wise). This is unfortunate as the terpene profile smells of a... delicious sweet cookie profile. The buds are very slightly too dry, although still spongy inside and sticky. The high as well as the flower overall reminds me of Gwiz particularly the batch available here at HGA many months back. The type of indica that I personally prefer to smoke throughout the day very mild couch lock and decent sedation but nothing thats going to force you to change any plans. Overall great buy with the sale but like usual with HGA I would be very upset paying their regular price. (not that there's anything upsetting about the flower)

Have bought this many times not sure if my tolerence is jacked up but does not seem quite as good as my previous batches comes off as being slightly old. However if it is older it certainly holds up better than most bud still has good flavour, taste, and potency just not quite up too par with prev. ...batches. As usual creamy, chocolate flavour heavy hitting indica buzz.

The main thing that makes me feel it's old was the texture of the bud when breaking it up into the grinder. The other qualities lacking kind of make me a little more sure of this. Still a great buy with coupon and some loyalty points @ $152/OZ. but I will be looking out for a restock before repurchasing

So i just want to start by saying I received 11 week mmj: pink kush, CG: pink frost, CG: Death curse, and this one. The chocolate mint, and death curse stood out the most of the 4 too me.

So bag appeal was by far best of the 4, sexy foxtails(on bigger buds) brightly colored, and caked wit...h glittering trichomes. The taste was quite unique I found it quite similar to the DCM except it has a strong mint that slightly overpowers most chocolatly terps. The buzz was closer to a hybrid although clearly indica Dom. great for an all day indica. Potent high although not too potent has a very ”quality” feel to the high with an invigorating uplifting euphoria.
