MOM - Always good to work with, have to recommend them.

Smell - Not a big weed connoisseur so I can’t reputably place the smells to words, though the smell doesn’t jump out at you very much, it isn’t super dank or fruity, smells like a tree (whi...ch the MOM description notes oak as its primary smell), but it still doesn’t smell like a plant you just pulled out of the ground, still smells like good weed.
Bud Quality/Bag Appeal - This bud was labeled as AAA- and I’d consider it AAA compared to many other actual AAA’s I’ve had. As you can see it is quite sugary and hairy and perfectly trimmed. Some of the big buds had really compressed and small leaves on them but barely anything to notice. Both the big and small buds are dense and not scraggly though there are some small buds with big stems and another small thing is sometimes there are buds with big stems as if you were slowly pulling bud off a big stem and didn’t break it off.

Smoke/Taste - Again not a big bud connoisseur but the ash is salt and peppery and it’s not harsh. Doesn’t have bad taste at all I just can’t place it.

High - Made me want to get out and do things a lot, I had the motivation to work out for the first time in a long time while having this weed but it was still enjoyable for watching shows and video games and didn’t have me craving for more after 0.5g like lots of strains do.

The batch I received was poorly trimmed and kinda threw me off from the other factors of the bag appeal but it was still a decent bud in the end and I’ll try my best to go over them. I have had other strains that are leafy and I am always sure to very gently brush the bud to remove the dried leave...s, I get sugar leaves are meant to stay but lots of the leaves barely had any visible trichomes or none at all.

With a previous leafy batch of a strain, I removed all the leaves and smoked some alone and it was really gross, I add the leaves to my stem collection for edibles, a large collection of the very minimal THC adds up.

TopShelfBC has good customer service and appreciates long-time customers, they offered an additional 5 grams to my next order.

Once the leaves were removed the buds were of good quality, during the removal my fingers got quite sticky, the buds weren’t dry but the leaves that sprung off the buds were a little which helped with removing them.

Usually, leafy buds mean its small buds and stemmy but underneath it was still averagely dense buds with not a lot of stems and about half large buds, half small buds.

The high was quality a 100% Indica high, it was quite relaxing and not too much, I am not used to Indica and I enjoyed this strain.See More

MoM - 10/10 TopShelfBC, always has a great selection and rewards not all MoMs have, often promotions like $20 off right now, on two orders, just cause its April.

Smell - It 100% smells like an orange creamsicle, which was very surprising to me, you can differentiate it between an orange and... an orange creamsicle.

Bud Quality - Not too leafy, the small amount of leafiness you see in the pic is the max amount there was, great long orange hairs, there are large and small buds, it’s pretty sticky and not so dense. The problem is, it has seeds, I don’t know if it will be every batch of this strain but there are some, not a lot, not in every bud. It isn’t a very stemmy strain either, a normal amount of stems.

Smoke/Taste -The smoke isn’t harsh, white ash, I’m not a big taste connoisseur but other buds have still stood out in the taste, this isn’t bad taste but nothing very special.

High - Nice potent Sativa high, hits you hard right after a big hit, unlike some less potent strains I’ve tried.

Price/Grade - TopShelfBC has it for $135/oz at AAA

MoM - 10/10 TopShelfBC is a great MoM, with great descriptions of each bud and always have a new bud to try from each category.

The smell after opening the bag was notably fruity and actually smelt like pineapple. The smell is very dank, smells up my entire apartment just after grinding, bu...t the smoked smell isn’t dank at all.

The buds came out all stuck together, seemed like a chunk right off the plant, was very satisfied with that.

The buds are very frosty and evenly frosted as you can see in the picture but there are some sugar leaves that aren’t as good smoke as the main bud. They flake off very easily so I flaked off some from one bud and smoked it alone and they are not a good smoke alone so that says a little bit but the actual buds smoke is fine and not harsh at all, easy to do big hits of.

It wasn’t too dry upon arrival but could still be ground up with your fingers fairly easily, not all the buds are very dense but the big ones are.

The high is pretty mellow, not something to get blasted on but a good mid-ground hybrid high, probably due to the Sativa dominance, it keeps you able to function but noticeably not as much as a pure sativa, without a big pay off from the indica side to make up for it, this has had me always craving for more after finishing.

Overall the high is pretty mediocre but the bud is slightly above average especially due to the smell and bud size.

Service + Shipping - Good as always with TopShelfBC

Bag Appeal - Initially there wasn’t the greatest bag appeal because there was some moderate stem amount, enough to want to remove the big stems before grinding on lots of the buds, but that is mainly just due to the batch and small buds ...that was noted in the product page.

Besides the moderate amount of stems it is completely fine though, pretty sticky, dense, hairy (as you can see), nicely colourful, and has a refreshing smell that isn’t too skunky but has some skunky tones.

Smoke/High - Great smoke and high, not too harsh to do really big hits out of the bong and has a decent taste, the taste isn’t anything too special. I found the high is a quality hybrid high, at 60 indica 40 sativa, I was somewhat able to focus and be productive but not as much as a pure sativa and gives me munchies and zoning out from the indica. The ash is almost fully white.

Overall - Great strain, I don’t think you can go wrong with it but as a sativa fan its not the greatest.. 7/10

Service - 6.5/10

I ordered a mix and match ounce, I did 3 parts a different strain and 1 part MK Ultra, but received Rock Tuna as they explained they ran out of MK Ultra and Rock Tuna is supposed to be extremely similar. Not a big deal but worth noting.

Bag Appeal/Buds - 6/10

Upon opening the bag for the first time there was a dank smell but the bud doesn’t have a very dank smell after that, the nugs are dense enough and they have a little bit of sugar on them, nothing too crazy but it is all there. The only issue is it is a little leafy.

Smoke/High - 6/10

It doesn’t burn completely white and it doesn’t have a noticeable taste, not really that harsh but harsher than the other strain, I am not a big fan of indicas so I can’t really say much about the high accurately, it is decent though.

With everything combined, despite the disliking of the bud, TopShelfBC is a great MoM and is for sure worthy of ordering from.See More

Website - The site is one of the better MoM sites I have seen, I like the long descriptors of each category of product on their page, the only thing I think could be better is if the bud prices showed the ounce prices instead of the pound prices.

Shipping - They had it shipped out the next ...day that is all I can put on them cause the rest is in Canada Posts’ hands.

Bag Appeal - The initial bag appeal was very good, nice and dense buds along with a wonderful morning coffee type smell, my favourite part of this bud is the smell.

Buds - Big buds and small buds but mostly big buds that are trimmed well and very hairy.

Smoke - Definitely not the type of weed to couch lock you or make you a ’stupid stoner’ type kind of high, it’s hard to feel that ur high but it for sure keeps you focused and on top of stuff, like usually, I have a hard time explaining long thought processes or strategies but I had no problem explaining them flawlessly while high on this.
