REVIEW :) Price - 8/10 - Bought myself a not so little Christmas/New Year order :) Got an ounce of the Island Pink Kush for $165 with some discounts. Not sure what the regular price is, but there have been some pretty big coupons available during the holidays. (Price would be 9 for me, but th...at seems unfair because of the discounts I got.) Looks - 7.5/10 - Looks dank! Lots of nice calyxes, no weird super dense buds, which I appreciate. Frosty, happy with trichome content, good visuals under my phone light. I was pretty content with my choice based on the looks when I got my bag. Smell / Taste - 7.5/10 - Smells like Pink Kush, but has a bit of an OG Kush undertone or maybe even Rockstar or something. Bit more of a dank smell when you break open a nug, compared to a bit of a sweeter smell with regular Pink Kush from my experience. I guess that’s where the Island cross comes in, but anyways, no complaints! Taste matched smell. Both were distinct, yet neither was super strong, which made it lose a point or so for me. I think maybe a Boveda in the bag could have made a difference, but I ran out! Burn - 9/10 - Burn was smooth, nothing too hard on the lungs. The joint was pretty resin-y, started to burn slowly and taste more dank. I like that it didn’t get more harsh though, so the burn is good to me. Effects - 8.5/10 - Heavy eyelids right away, but not sleepy. Very strong head high half way through my joint. Not a huge couchlock, but things slowed down, becoming more tired after 60-90 mins. I would say it’s a good Indica-Hybrid strain for the evening, maybe before a movie. But it doesn’t stand out as a pure sleep strain, like Chemo or MK-Ultra (for me anyways). Overall - 8/10 - Would buy again around this price, definitely (under $200 for my budget). When I think of Kush, this fits the description pretty well, so I would recommend to anyone else who likes their kush :)
