Comatose OG from One Two Treez

Cross: OG Kush and another heavy Indica

90% Indica Dominant Hybrid

Visual: It looked great for a AAA. It had lots of frosty sparkly crystal all over. It was a bit loose and there was a tiny bit of leaf but it still had great visual appe...al. There was lots of orange and brown hairs in patches all over. It was actually a bit dense but with a lightness to it.

Nose: The nose was very piney and earthy and a bit gassy. It was also a bit woody when I opened it up.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It was easy to grind and it fluffed it up a bit. I could feel the fluffiness when I was cutting it. It was a bit sticky and it had a great moisture level.

Taste: The taste was piney and gassy with some punky woodiness and some spice. The taste was more pungent that the nose.

Burn: It burnt well. It was slow and steady and it gave a heavy smoke.

Potency/Effects: This Pine Tar gave me a good hit in my nose and it had a great potency level for me! It was very relaxing and it weighed me down right away. It didn’t mess up my brain very much, but it still had a great all over buzz. This one would be good for nighttime, hanging on the couch.

Pine Tar from One Two Treez

Cross: Direct descendant of the infamous Kush strain.

100% Indica

Visual: They were small to medium buds that were a forest green overall but had some medium greens and lots of sparkly crystal all over and throughout. They were very dense... buds.

Nose: The nose was very piney and gassy and sweet with a little bit of a woody spiciness. It was very pleasant and it was more pungent with the pine and the sweet gas when I opened it up.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It held back a bit in the grinder but it still fluffed it up. It squished a bit when I was cutting it with scissors. It had a great moisture level and it had a nice feel to it.

Taste: I got lots of pine and gas and some of the woody spice. It was very pungent and it filled up my mouth with the flavour.    

Burn: The burn was good. It was just a tiny bit salt and peppery but it burnt forever and gave a lot of smoke.  

Potency/Effects: This Pine Tar gave me a good hit in my nose and it had a great potency level for me! It was very relaxing and it weighed me down right away. It didn’t mess up my brain very much, but it still had a great all over buzz. This one would be good for nighttime, hanging on the couch.

Overall score – 9.4/10

Sunset Pink from One Two Treez

Cross: Phenotype of Sunset Sherbet

70% Indica Dominant Hybrid

Visual: It was a huge bud with a beautiful structure to it! It had lots of fox tailing and lots of sparkly crystal all over and throughout. It had a look like it was going t...o be sticky. It had some bright greens and forest greens with light brown hairs all over. It was very dense.

Nose: The nose was sweet floral gas. It wasn’t super pungent, but it had a pleasant smell to it.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It ground up well and it squishes a bit when cutting it with scissors.  

Taste: I got quite a bit of the floral and lots of the sweet gas and a hint if spice.  

Burn: The burn was good. The ash was a little bit salt and peppery, but it stayed lit and gave of lots of smoke.  

Potency/Effects: It wasn’t very punchy, but it built up well to a great potency level for me. It continued to build up through the joint as well. It was very relaxing and it weighed me down in my body. I felt a bit of a creative and energy boost in my brain. My upper lip felt fuzzy and my eyes and body felt heavy. Good for evening or nighttime.

Bag appeal through the roof

Pine Tar AAAA- 100% Indica

I found myself pleasantly surprised with the smell from this bud. I’m usually not a fan of piney smells, but this one definitely took my breath away (in a good way). The pine is not overpowering as there is a sweet and citrusy (tangy) aroma coming off these b...uds as well. The buds themselves feel sticky and came at the right level of dryness. Visually, Pine Tar is nothing to look at. It’s a pretty dull looking bud, with not much colour to show off. However, don’t let the lack of beauty steer you away, as this bud has more to offer once inhaled.

The smoke on this strain is smooth and gives off thick white clouds (when smoked from the bong). I have yet to try smoking a joint with this strain, as I’ve been saving this for before bed and lately its been a little too chilly and windy for me to have a night time smoke outside.

As soon as the smoke hits those lungs, the effects are immediate! You get an instant head rush of euphoria that slowly settles over your entire body. This leaves you feeling quite happy and uplifted, lasting for around 1-2 hours, before the other effects start to take over. Because, I chose to smoke this after my dinner and my “bedtime” snack—as I didn’t want to completely munch out—I found I was able to avoid that feeling of hunger as best as possible. Another trick to avoiding that rush to the kitchen, is to let the sleepiness that kicks in take over and drift off into a blissful sleep. If I fought the tired eyes, I would have found myself in the kitchen raiding the fridge and cupboards for sure.

Overall, I am surprised at how well I enjoy this strain. I picked it out on a whim; and it will definitely be something I will have in my stash from time to time. If you haven’t already tried it, I recommend you do! Just remember, this is best used in the evening before bed and be ready for these effects to take over as they are pretty powerful.
