Unicorn Poop Source: Jercannabis Grower: Head Water Genetics: GMO x Sophisticated Lady
This is one strain that I found that did not have to strong of an aroma profile. What I could smell was floral and earthy profiles with a hint of herbs (couldn’t quite put my finger on which to be e...xact). Upon inhale the smoke was pretty smooth, with almost no cough, and a pretty strong floral aftertaste. Would recommend this to be smoked via joint and not bong. I found the smoke to be a bit harsh via bong.
The colouring is quite eye catching. You are drawn in by the combination of colours and how they integrate with one another. You have the greens and purples just blended so well with a heavy blanket of trichomes coating the entirety of this bud. Breaking this apart you are able to truly appreciate the amount of trichomes present, coating everything even the stems!
If anyone is looking for a well balanced hybrid that allows you to continue on your day as normal, then look no further. Unicorn Poop is a slow to start high (it creeps up on you). You can begin to feel the cerebral effects—which are subtle and not over the top—that then melts into your body, for a generalized relaxation. As I said above, this is easily a strain you can smoke, and still go about your day. Overall, you will experience a relaxation of muscles and pain, your mind eases and lets go of any negativity you may have been focusing on or letting eat away at you.
MKU (AAA) Source: @onetwotreezhq Genetics: OG Kush x G13
When comparing to what people smell when they get their hands on this strain, I kept wondering how the heck I was smelling something completely different. I get a very sweet berry and diesel aroma that just jumps out of the bag wh...en opening. I know that isn’t anywhere near what others state they smell, but maybe my nose is just one of a kind. ?
All of the flower came small in size, with some having standout colours. This bud is mainly covered in light green, but I did have some that had purple just popping through, which was very appealing to the eye. Upon breaking them up, you get to experience the true stickiness of this one. I did find this one to be difficult to photograph, as the colours and the lighting was just not on my side.
I first decided to try this strain in a joint form and I experienced a sweet on inhale, that tickled the back of my throat a bit. The effects are immediate with it setting into your head to start. You feel it building behind the eyes, and then slowly starts travelling towards the rest of the brain and down into the body. As it is slowly reaching every limb, you can feel each area become very relaxed and “heavy”. After about 40 minutes the high dissipated in intensity and just felt relaxed. When I smoke this out of the bong, the high is a bit different. I found it to be less intense on the cerebral and body highs. I was more focused and a lot more chatty when engaging in social interactions. If you increase your intake, that I can see this helping you sleep at night but I wouldn’t pick this as your main choice for sleep aid.
With all that in mind, I would recommend this strain as a day-time-evening smoke. If you are looking for a more intense high then roll one up, and if you’re looking to socialize and enjoy your day with friends and or gaming then pack that bowl. Either way does help relax those muscles and decrease any discomfort.
Dude Where’s My Bike Source: Jercannabis Grower: Better Bee The Best Genetics: Amnesia x Biker Kush
I don’t know about about all of you, but boy, do I love me some strong smelling bud. Dude Where’s My Bike is extremely pungent, with a strong aroma of orange citrus (cleaning products...) and I even sometimes get small wafts of floral. I could not stop smelling this, and it was pretty quick to stink up my room. We also can’t forget the perfect naming of this cross between Amnesia and Biker Kush… seriously Dude, Where’s My Bike? My bike is still MIA as of one year ago.?
The feel and look of this bud is very typical of a Sativa. The bud is fluffier and not as dense looking. You’ve got more subdued green shading with, the lighter green being absolutely dominated with trichomes coating it. When you grind down the bud, it reminds me of that Magic sand, kids have? Where you can mold it but then, one slight touch and it can come crumbling down. The real beauty in this strain comes out when you smoke it.
I’d like to call Dude Where’s My Bike a shocker strain. I say shocker, because I was completely blown away with how this hits your body in every aspect. This is a Sativa Dominant (90%) bud that has strong cerebral effects that hit immediately—heavy behind the eyes, clearing of the mind—BUT confuses you when you feel this couch-locking effect take over. I had to quickly look this up on the website to confirm, that this was indeed a Sativa. Don’t fret, as the couch-locking is not at all sedative, but just a complete mood of “my body is so blissfully content, that moving is just NOT an option”. This strong couch-lock lasts for around 45 minutes to an hour, before it lifts away and just has your body completely relaxed with your mind uplifted and euphoric.
I personally, would not suggest this as a typical “wake’n’bake” sativa because of the laziness that comes with it. I would instead recommend this for gaming or a day off, where you don’t have any to-do items on your agenda. Great for those, needing to take their mind off of a stressful moment or day.
G41 x Dosi Source: @coastalwildfire_ - Black Edition Genetics: Gelato #41 x Do-Si-Dos
I already knew this was going to be a solid pick, because of Gelato being one of its parents. This beautiful strain is a cross between Gelato #41 and Do-Si-Dos. The combination of these two bring out a ...pretty unique flavour profile. At first you are hit with a fruity and earthy aroma, that is replaced with a piney almost nutty smell. Personally, I am not a huge fan of this combination of as the nutty/pine aroma that takes over isn’t as pleasant, as the sweet earthy aroma to start with.
When I say I’m absolutely blown away by the shape and cut of this strain is an understatement. The colas are so beautifully structured with a hue of light to dark greens and a dark red-wine purple bursting through. Its covered in very generous amount of trichomes that leave it looking like a fuzzy pussy willow tree. The buds came small to medium in size, with a very dense body and a small bit of stickiness
This is an absolute banger of a Hybrid strain. First off upon inhale you are hit with a lavender taste that is a very clean, smooth smoke with NO cough. This could very easily aid in sedation, so I would be cautious in the amount you inhale on your first session. If you are looking for an all around hybrid then this is a solid option. The high envelops your entire body for a balanced body and cerebral high. The cerebral effects are not at all overpowering, which allows your mind to focus on your task at hand, all the while still being able to keep a social presence. Super talkative on this strain, giggly and thoroughly enjoyed gaming on this high as well.
Recommend to anyone; just be cautious on the amount you intake, if you are not an experienced smoker. Great for anytime of the day but would become more of an evening strain if you plan to smoke a lot.
Death Bubba AA+ Source: OneTwoTreez Genetics: Death Star x Bubba Kush Grower: Private
Death Bubba is an Indica dominant hybrid that is bursting with a flavourful profile. When you open the bag you are hit in the face with a strong skunky, diesel but very sweet aroma. The smell fills your... room instantly and I am not complaining.
They came small in size and a tiny bit on the dry side. Nothing a little boveda pack can’t help in a timely manor. I don’t find these too exciting to look at our photograph. They colouring scheme is of dull greens and the pistils making a big appearance. They have a decent dusting of trichomes and are actually quite dense considering its colouring. Previously, when I’ve gotten my hands on any strain that is AA, I usually don’t expect too much from them, however I was pleasantly surprised with the capabilities behind this strain. Firstly, this is not the strain you would smoke for any social setting, and because of this I probably wouldn’t get this on my own free-will myself. The inhale is a bit harsh and made me cough a little bit, but the high it produces overpowers the harsh throat. I found myself zoning in and out, which made it hard to follow conversations. The high is sedative for your body and mind, but it isn’t overpowering—you still feel energetic— unless you smoke a lot in each session. My appetite did increase noticeably, and for that I would recommend this to people for evening to night use. With all this in mind, I do think this deserves an AAA rating and not AA+.
Mike Tyson is a 100% Indica and boy will you know it when you smoke on this. Its genetics are unknown but are believed to be a descendent of an OG Kush strain, but thats about all that is talked about. Now I normally, steer away from pure Ind...icas as I am a big day time smoker; however, I recently found a new love for Indica strains and I am completely blown away at the power house of this bud.
The colour popping on these buds was quite the eye catcher. The bud is extremely bright to look at with all the shades of green complimenting each other so well. You’ve got a healthy amount of trichomes visible on Mike and lets not forget about the structure. The pistons seem perfectly placed to compliment the shades of green giving it that extra bit of pop. When you break them apart you are surprised with small bouts of purple closer to the stem. Extremely dense buds, that came ready to smoke.
The aroma on Mike Tyson is quite prominent. You are immediately hit with a strong Pine and skunky scent that envelopes your nostrils instantly. It is followed up with a sweetness that takes over near the end; sending your body into a pre-bliss state. I knew this was going to be strong but I didn’t know exactly how strong until I got to smoking this bad boy.
This smoke is no joke. Upon the first inhale; you are greeted with a strong profile of pine and a hint of diesel that had you wanting to cough slightly. The effects are almost immediate with it enveloping your body. As I said above, it’s a heavy Indica strain that had me easily zoning in and out. Perfect example of just how heavy this is; my friend became concerned when I didn’t speak for over an hour in our voice chat ? as I’m always very talkative. Just after half way through the high, the relaxation turns sedative. Yawning was pretty constant. My body had very little energy yet my mind wanted to keep going as I felt like I was in a state of trance.
Question of the day: Can I take a punch by Mike Tyson?
And the answer is HELL NO. This had me out like a light within 5 minutes of hitting my pillow, when I finally gave in to the couch lock. Not recommended for new smokers. Great for relieving pain and relaxing all those sore and tight muscles. Would be good for high-stressed individuals and anyone suffering from insomnia. Night time usage.
Garlic Butter Source: @coastalwildfire_ - Black Edition Lineage: Garlic Breath x Donkey Butter Cultivar: Harmony Collective
Garlic Butter is from the lineage of Garlic Breath and Donkey Butter. Garlic Breath is known for its citrus, garlic and spicy undertones, whereas Donkey Butter is... known to emit fuel aromas coupled with earthy undertones. Garlic Butter however, gives off a unique scent of a tangy, earthy (slightly piney) and spicy tones mixing all together. I will say, this was a bit upsetting as I REALLY wanted to smell even the faintest bit of garlic ?. Maybe next time ??
Visually, Garlic Butter looks like an offspring to both its parents. You have the light greens mixing in with some darker greens, and you can’t miss the purple pushing through in some areas. The structure reminds me more of Donkey butter in shape and denseness as you’d expect. The can came full with small buds that are just dripping in trichomes that make it look like a fuzzy blanket to curl up under.
Smoking on this strain had me throughly impressed. From the first inhale to the point of exhale, you experience an almost completely smooth smoke. There is just the tiniest urge to cough, but is easily dissipated with a throat correction or by taking a nice deep breath after exhale (no real, noticeable taste upon inhale). This hits you straight to the dome but quickly envelops your entire body, which gives you that beautiful hybrid effect you want. The cerebral effects are prominent throughout the entire high. The body becomes super relaxed as time goes on, which could whisk you away into a slumber if you are not careful. Mood was significantly uplifted; which is in line with the intense euphoric feelings that last throughout the entire high.
I’m extremely impressed with my whim of a purchase on this strain. If I come across this again, I will definitely be adding it to my stash for future smokes. I would recommend that you smoke this in the later evening/during the night. It’s a powerful hybrid that should NOT be smoked by novice users.
Compound Genetics is responsible for breeding this extremely terpy phenotype! As above this is a cross between Apple Cider and L...egend of Apricot. Apple cider is known for its strong smell of diesel, spiciness and sourness. Where as Legend of Apricot is bursting with a tangy citrus aroma. Combining those two together; created this beautiful blend of a sour, diesel and citrusy aroma, that had my whole room smelling just like it, in minutes. These particular buds were grown by @organic__bros who was lucky enough to be one of the very few who got their hands on these seeds. It’s a Sativa-dominate strain that does NOT disappoint. The buds themselves, came medium too small with a generous dusting of crystals all over them. The colours are more laid back for this Sativa; with pale greens and oranges. The buds look almost light and airy, but do not let that fool you… these came sticky and dense. Because of the stickiness it was slightly difficult to grind, but once you get it to glide, you are smooth sailing from there on out.
The high takes a few minutes to kick in, but once it does you know this is a Sativa! It is completely cerebral focused and does not touch your body in any way below the neck. Which makes it the perfect WAKE ’N’ BAKE☀️?. You feel the high start in the base of your skull near you neck, but it makes its way towards your frontal lobe, where it stays for the rest of your high until it fades out. This strain had me extremely alert and wide awake. I found this to also be great for wanting to dive in and stay focused on whatever I needed to accomplish in the moment. My energy levels are through the roof on this strain, but still delivered a calming effect to your brain. The only thing, that bugs me about this beautiful Sativa is the dry mouth. Which I easily fixed by chewing some gum!
If you are ever able to get your hands on this strain; I highly recommend this to any Sativa lover, and those who struggle to have energy in the mornings and want that boost with a side of focus!
