Ordering & Pricing: The ordering process was simple I was very interested in their products based on seeing their new logo design on IG!, That was what drove me to their site and how the ’order/review’ process started , I was offered this product for a fair and honest review , The team at Sovrin is affiliated with the Canadian Boxing Association I believe and they seem to focus more on the high end style and function of a medical grade product and beautiful packaging very well designed and thought out for sure! The pricing I can not comment on but I assume if it’s sold at $50-60 would be a fair price range for the quality of product!,

Communication: The communication with this team was top notch in touch from the time of discussion to the point of the pack arriving the products I have had a week to try out and get an honest feel!, So here is my feedback on these beautifully packaged products!

Packaging: This came in very discreetly packaged with bubble wrap and several layers to protect the product. Also had the perfect individual product packages that suited my needs perfectly. As such the little plastic vial type of packaging their vape carts came in are great for leaving the carts standing when not in use. (*For me I hate HATE laying my carts on the side always feeling like especially after a nice long few hauls/uses it sometimes gets warm I worry it will go up along the mouthpiece and clog or run out the sides.. Probably never happen but always on my mind)..So may seem silly to some but a nice bonus to have the little containers IMHO...

Products / Photos: Great start with the cart I have almost 95% gone lol!..

Blue Dream : Vape Cartridge Refill THC Cartridge -> + ClearStick V2 ->

This is a distillate vape cart and I have recently been getting into the Live Resin carts so it was hard to have a preference for these style of carts as of lately but honestly I can say I found the taste to not be too bad at all and have started to really enjoy the subtle ’Blue Dream Terps’ from the blue dream strain as well as the dankness of the Trainwreck!., ,**I dont really usually honestly go for or care for distillate vapes as much any more but for medical use purposes and for someone who needs these for so pain or some form of physical need’This could/would be a lifesaver!!’.

ClearStickV2: What a great unit no buttons on the Clearstick V2 at all = An ease of use to the user of just being able to pull in/inhale lightly for a great full bodied puff of vapor very nice full size clouds are easy to blow with this unit making a very nice mid pull for a nice puff range and getting a very nice medicated effect!!.. Has a very nice distillate effect as well as tastes not to over powering(*If you like distillate or need immediate pain relief this may be the unit for your needs for sure very nice effects and a mildly terpy taste :)!*) you can tell it is not an overly diluted product like some other varieties of distillate vapes/carts I’ve tried in the past and as such possibly why I have found myself nearly finishing this cart and thoroughly enjoying it every puff more and more! , The wife really digs each Sovrin cart and really loves the effects as well for work and easing her pain also the pure ease of use with this device is heavenly when your in a rush or say someone who may not inhale enough or just hold the button to damn long lol and might end up burning out the wick or just make the cart taste of a$$!! & for that we thank you ; - ) !! LOL

THC:CBD 1:1-> Trainwreck : I found this one to be one of the better tasting ones out of the three , I was curious if I mixed this one and the blue dream up as I found more of a nice entourage type of effect possibly with this cart as well found it to be one of the better tasting mixed CBD/THC products I have had :)! , The effects from them all were noticeable even with a huge tolerance.

As such for someone in need of say ’A VERY QUICK’ medicine effect and possibly a patient suffering from seizures who cant press a button may be able to wrap their lips around it and slightly suck hard enough to get them selves feeling better!, Even someone new to vapes I have seen this especially older folks they seem to hold the button in and begin coughing still holding the button thats why I dug the sovrin pen and can appreciate the simplistic ’No Button’ design. I really found these carts + the Clearstick V2 pen to be a nice product all around and to provide a very nice quick relief when needed promptly!!.

CBD: Root Beer : Have not used this one too much overly but have tried it for the review a few times and found the taste was nice for a pure CBD product as from my past experience pure CBD strains and terps are of the a$$ variety usually for flavor lol..

Truly respect and appreciate what these carts and this company has to offer especially aiming more for the medical high end type of style to help the people I get that feel from the beautiful packaging and talking with the team!, Back to the cart It does offer a mild CBD taste but the Root Beer flavor covers any unwanted flavors the effects are almost instant within a few hauls although I still can’t pinpoint all of CBD’s effects on myself personally ever lol I can say I did for sure notice a slight ease of mind come over me and my body an almost free of pain. ’Likely just perceived in my mind at the very least’.. Not sure how long the effects last as well not sure what to expect as I have not used to much variety of PURE CBD products!. But I wanted to say it is a very great medicine for those who need it and possibly to help with inflammation , infection , pain what ever it does seem to help with most pain/physical issues especially for those who are new to the CBD product I have heard great success stories!!, I notice my tooth pain has eased some when I used this vape the first few days of having it though I did try a few products ;)!.

Notes: The one thing I would say would be most of the carts have a slight difference in taste and differences in effects being the CBD vs THC or THC:CBD, I really found the THC/CBD ’TrainWreck’ To be a beautiful not over powering terps and effect I really enjoyed the Blue Dream and Trainwreck and the Blue Dream Shatter was beautiful as well nice tasting and easy to work with had nice ’Blue Dream’ terps slight berry flavors in each inhale in both the Blue Dream vape cartridge and the Blue Dream shatter!, I am very happy overall with the products and would for sure look at purchasing them if they were at a fair discounted price! , Very nice product overall and amazingly beautiful packaging!

Sovrin Extracts

Packaging/shipping - Thoroughly protected, there were multiple layers of bubble wrap mailer plus vacuum seal, and inside, their own branded packaging, which is downright luxurious with spot gold text.

Customer Service - Sovrin is preparing to give a luxury experience... to their clientele and right now they’re maintaining that illusion well. I didn’t experience any ‘customer service issues’ so I can only say they seem nice enough.

Their website strikes me as the sort of thing that wants to be a purse or perfume or fine leather product brand, it’s very fancy. While the top menu is a bit challenging to read being gray on white, it includes a noteworthy offering–lab results! One thing of note is that they do not sell direct to consumer, but intend to offer their products through other MoMs, or as wholesale. They have a list of MoMs who sell their products, none of which I’ve used before, so I can’t vouch for any of them. This review was arranged by Sovrin directly, and any of the resellers would have to arrange a review with me independently.

Vape - Comes in a little black compact which won’t close if you put a cartridge container into it in its tube, unfortunately. The exterior box has spot gold, but the interior case is just a gold colored ink. It comes with the simplest vape. It appears to either have the option of screwing it into a cartridge, or screwing it into a USB charger. No buttons, just suck and instantly obtain distillate vapor, assuming a cartridge is attached. It’s matte black, velvety soft to the touch, and I enjoy the idiotproof ease of use.

Concentrates

These are all distillate cartridges with no fillers, with up to 90% THC. The bubble doesn’t drift, indicating the overall thickness of the juice within. They come in an assortment of ratios and flavors.



Gelato 1:1 Cartridge - 6.5/10

Shamefully I have never had the strain gelato before so I can’t say if it tastes like Gelato. We agree it tastes kind of like sweet soap.

I’m in line with a perfect period of time to test out pain relieving properties, so instead of taking any standard measures, I used this cartridge throughout my day and enjoyed significant pain relief, only observing a breakthrough about four hours after my last hit. Because I didn’t have to fuss with any dry herb it was very simple to take a dose here or there while working. I found the high to be extremely balanced, bringing on pain relief properties before reaching a point where I was distracted by its psychoactive properties. 1:1 is a great ratio for the medical patient looking to discreetly medicate while still receiving the specific benefits of a THC containing blend.

I tested it over my period and was able to take about 5 hits and see a significant reduction in cramps. Ultimately I didn’t really like the flavor, but this tells me the CBD content is legit! Very discrete method of delivery as well. I never pushed it so far that I actually got high, and was able to use this to reduce pain and carry on with no psychoactive effects.

Trainwreck THC Cartridge - 7/10

It tastes like what I imagine candy cigarettes would taste like if you vaporized them. It takes a few good hits to build up to a decent high, but not that long. It’s less efficient than directly combusting shatter or diamonds but faster than flower. Also, there’s no fiddly bits. I found any solid hits to be a bit rough on the throat, not going down as easily as the Gelato… the CBD seemed to be a bit more tempered, whereas the Trainwreck has a bit more of a shock.

I admit there were several moments where I observed the pen to be more convenient of a means to get high or cause pain relief than my traditional vaporizer–anything that had me away from my usual workstation where I have my desktop vaporizer set up means I use my portable vaporizer, which I make no secret of the fact that I do not personally like it. Its mouthpieces are fragile–I’ve lost one, broken another, almost broken another and did a botched repair job on it. It’s not nearly as fun to hold.

I used this as my travel vape instead of my usual herb vape for the next few times I needed to go out, and points in its favor was definitely how discrete and easy to manage it was compared to dry herb or even fussing with a dabber and a jar of concentrate or a bag of shatter, which is sometimes what I’ll choose with which to travel. It lasted for a few outings before requiring a charge which took around an hour. I got baaaaaaked very efficiently, usually I would take 3-5 hits and go on for a while. It was outright effortless and during my experience with this cartridge I was as high as I wanted as often as I wanted.

The main negative I noticed was that distillate simply felt harsher than other concentrates. I noticed this when I’ve tried e-cigarettes, I think in part the design doesn’t give the same length to allow the vapor to cool. I had a downright uncomfortable coughing fit though, and thought I might need my inhaler. I can trigger than kind of negative feedback by smoking, but I never do when I use a dry herb vape. I did not find Sovrin’s shatter to have this problem, but, the device I use for my concentrates has a longer cooling tube. I find the distillate harsher than the shatter, and it results in a coughing fit every time I have a sess, whether due to the heat being closer to my throat, or just distillate itself.

The other potential negative is something I have not experienced–apparently some people have reported clogging issues. I feel like that won’t be a problem if you go through a cartridge in a timely fashion? I haven’t managed to finish one of them yet, but it has not had any flow issues, since I’ve been using it every day, it seems to be preventing it from sticking.

In short, if you like cartridges already, by all means give Sovrin’s a go! I don’t believe I’ll be continuing to use them, and may gift the pen kit to another vaping friend of mine. :)

Blue Dream shatter - 9/10

Stinky! That’s a good sign. It isn’t pre-broken, but it has a proper pull/snap texture to it. I enjoy handling it, and find its coloration generally pleasing. While it stretches out to free the shatter from its confines, it also folds back in on itself once you put it back together. Some of the better shatter I’ve tried. If a MoM I bought from stocked Sovrin shatter I’d probably grab a gram of it with my orders. Definitely up there in the top shatters I’ve tried. Superior in flavor to King Tut’s house shatter, carries all the notes I love from Blue Dream, and it’s easy to work with due to the taffy-like consistency.

Any MoMs considering stocking their shatter, I do recommend! I’d buy it. It’s a nice AAAA grade, stinky and a good clean high. Blue Dream gives I find, a very balanced high, it worked out okay for me while I was doing photo editing and hanging out in the evening, relaxing and accompanies most snacks well, given its creamy berry notes are not obtrusive or offensive in any way. Classic strain. Great shatter.

Gear - Included a lanyard ??? and stickers !!! The lanyard is an interesting choice of perk. It doesn’t release at the back so there’s many workplaces you couldn’t–ALSO IT’S A WEED BRAND–anyway, it also won’t carry the pen vape, so I’m not sure what to use it for, but hey, free lanyard! The stickers were all beefy vinyl mofos, so I used one of them on a crack on my wacom tablet, and it looks great, it’s holding up better than the electrical tape I was using before! Certainly it’s a quality sticker. I found an immediate use for it.
