Mocha Mint; Skookum/ Budmail; November 2020

This one is a hit for me. Top marks for visuals, nose and smoke/ taste. Beautiful buds with hues of dark greens, purples and orange hairs. The smell coming from the jar is a mix of chocolate, earth and cake. All the buds are medium sized. No huge nuggets or popcorn. All relatively uniform in look and size. Chopping it up - the nose becomes even more apparent but where this stuff really shines is the taste/ smoke. A mix of chocolate, cake and sweetness. This stuff pairs with my afternoon cup of coffee brilliantly. This is the definition of dessert weed. I can’t say enough good things about the taste. Probably the first weed I’d buy on the strength of taste alone. The high is mellow. It’s not going to melt your face or (on the other side of the spectrum) give you energy. However, it’s just a genuinely nice high. Not favouring either side, just a clean balance. No discernible munchies during or nasty burn out after. It comes and goes with little to no fanfare but leaves you extremely calm and relaxed overall. Would gladly purchase another jar of this if it’s to come around again. A real treat. Purple Sherbert; Skookum/ Budmail; November 2020

Damn, this stuff is a winner for me. Absolutely love the look, smell, taste and stone that I get from this tin series strain. Upon cracking the tin you get a nice nose of sour berry and kush with just a hint of gas. The buds themselves don’t look absolutely spectacular but present a nice visual regardless. When chopping it up is when you start to notice how special it really is. Super sticky but still easy to manipulate into a joint. The nose is extremely powerful upon busting up a bud. The taste when smoking is damn near spot on to the nose. Burns white and clean. The high is a perfect combo for me. It’s stoney but not absolutely flatlining (looking at you Lindsay OG and Mike Tyson OG). I can still carry on conversations and multi-task but I’m also very aware I’m high as hell. The burnout is negligible and munchies aren’t heavy either which really sells this stuff. Overall, a random buy and one I’m glad I made. Quality: 9 out of 10 Value: 9 out of 10

Lindsay OG and Mike Tyson OG; Budmail; November 2020

I know that strains should be separated for review but these two are so damn similar that I can’t see a reason to separate. I mean so much so that I tend to have a hard time telling them apart via look. Both are heavy set indica’s with earthy/ gassy noses and an expert cure. Taste is basically the exact same. The Tyson has a sharper gas taste and smell. Effects are exactly the same in my opinion - super heavy stone hits you about a third of the way through the joint. If you get to the half way mark you’ve basically settled on going to sleep within the next hour. These are both great strains for sleep. I find myself sleeping deeper and longer than I have in years because of them. Both of these strains pack a heavier punch, in my opinion, than the Ultra Pink tin series (which I loved as well). The only tough thing with both of these is avoiding the munchies as they will absolutely send you running for the cupboards. Overall, this isn’t smoke I’d use if I wanted to be in any way, shape or form functional. This is strictly for the last puff of the night and as such I imagine I’ll get pretty decent mileage out of both of these bags. Another solid purchase from Budmail. Punch Breath - Budmail - Oct 2020 (Preview)

Really enjoyed the prior tin from July so this was a quick pick with their fall promo This batch of Punch Breath (Mendo Breath x Purple Punch F2) has surprisingly tart, citrusy sourness in its aroma, which is a little diff than prior PB experiences.. A really nice fruity nose, and in particular you can really smell a minty, citrusy sweetness on your fingers after grinding the bud + rubbing the stems. Arrived slightly dry (despite the humidity pack) as caked small-to-medium nugs that were quite dense The citrusy terps don't come through as much in the experience, starting as a woody, slightly tangy sweetness that settles as a slightly Breath-y, earthy sweetness with some spicy notes late. Would describe it as being sweeter and not as rich or deeply grapey/Breath-y as the previous batch from this source Solid potency as an enjoyable balanced relaxant that helps take the edge off things but doesn't leave me sedated, (prob a 7.75 or 8 in our potency scale). Went through this pretty quickly

Tuna Kush [ budmail.com] labour week

Strain Tuna Kush rated as indica AA Super impressed by the look insane for the ratings. Even thru the bag these nugs where beautifuly caked and theres some really nice amber trichomes when zooming in. Decently sticky and fresh. Classic Tuna bud structure, small to medium dense bulky/tight chunks. With some dark purple, bright/ dark green it was really nice looking. Smelled was right on classic tuna, gassy and skunky with a nice sweet touch. Everything transfered to the taste perfectly . Burned slow and gray each bowls. Again for the rating the potency was just insane,  relaxing sedating perfect for late night great mood elevator for sedentary activity. One of my favorite this year in the "big deal" value wise. Next to the death Bubba/ mk ultra. 10/10 would recommend ! Value 10/10 Quality 9/10

Super Silver Haze [ Budmail] labour week deals

Super silver haze from Budmail rated as Sativa AAA Smallish nugs with a beautiful trichomes coverage and bright amber pistils. Came in a bit dry and not sticky felt better after a couple days in a jar with some integra. Smelled like classic SSH, citrusy and spicy a bit grassy. Taste just like it smelled with a pleasant citrusy after taste. Burned okay perfect gray ashes but a bit fast. With a ideal early day high ; uplifting, energizing, creative fast acting mood inducer. Great representation potency wise just wish it was a bit fresher.  V NA Q 8/10

Daydream - Skookum (Budmail) - November

While it is a good strain, it just doesn’t meet the Premier Line standards like I am used to with Skookum. Moisture content was a bit lower than I’d like, not nearly as much trichome coverage as I would expect but the terps and the high is where this really shines. While it is priced well above what I believe it should be it is still a decent pick up. As for the high, I have no idea why or how but I’ve never had a strain make me as happy as this one did. Q:8.5 V:7.5

Apricot Kush ( budmail ) labour week

Bag appeal, medium sized nugs that have a decent density with a surprising trichomes content once busted open, considering they looked as described a bit leafy, nicely surprised. Smell was kind of muted mostly earthy, didn't felt much of the apricot / fruitiness. And same for the smoke mostly earthy even when all the leafs were took off. Burned fast but it had gray ashes on every bowl. It was actually more potent then expected off of ordering and just bag appeal. It gives a nice relaxation effect but it isn't the strongest or a knockout high. The kind of the indica you can use at day without problems imo. Great Value overall id say this looks like AA and was well reflected in the price for 99$ discounted to 65$ oz Value 9/10 quality 7/10
