Double mint from Skookum tin series. Looks: dark and emerald green with hints of purple once broken up. Very dense. Smell: the smell is subtle at first with some musky funk. Once broken up I get this zingy herbal cookie gas? Burn: white ash with light grey specks. Very clean. Taste: like the smell I am getting full smoke with a zingy, herbal, citrus, floral gas. Hits very strong 9.5/10. Harsher than the mint chocolate chip with some zing. While the MCC has a darker taste if that makes any sense.

Mint Chocolate Chip - Budmail - July 2020

Looks: one large nug from a 1/4 with smaller medium to make up the rest. Beautiful dark green colours with some lil foxtails. Very sticky with a grease factor of 9/10. Smell: gassy, floral, piney, dark earthy. 9.5/10 Taste: this one hits! I get diesel, floral, earthy and has deep delicious smoke. 9.5/10 Burn: light grey ash with small specks of slightly darker grey. 9/10 I wouldn’t say this one is a day wrecker, after one joint but I feel a heavy body stone while feeling happy and focused but if I roll up another I’m definitely spaced out! This is a unique one for me. Love to try this strain from another grower. At 85 a 1/4 this is some of the most expensive flower I’ve seen so far other than UP’s ghosttrainhaze at 90. If you order a 1/2 you save 5 bucks. I did get a $25 off code for referring a friend.

wanted to try skookum for a while and debated between this and the mcc, i'm happy with my choice though. quite impressed with their packaging and tins, they're a bit bigger than coastal's so no squishing. the smell reminds me a lot of the lemon mintz weedposters had up recently, i found it had more of a piney taste with a subtle sweetness though. good potency and burns clean, i saw another review mentioned intense munchies. i'd have to agree, i ended up downing a box of melona bars after a bowl lol.

First times trying it and it didn't disappoint. I'm a sativa guy so I won't be smashing this stuff until it's gone it is more of a treat to take many later evenings. Pricey for sure but I had the $25 off and I ordered some Taco Farms SSH for 48 and I was super happy with the value. Still taste a but of cookies but most is that mint taste. Very nice treat for sure. This strain is a two part high where the first half is more sativa and then it faded into indica similar to God's green crack. Because of this you can't just pull on it whenever you want (well you could haha) but I need to be more productive most of the time. Still alert enough to enjoy many chill activities but upon larger doses your eyes will shut haha.

SORRY FOR THE REPOST. Forgot to put the date purchased so a mod deleted my original post. This stuff is great. Smaller buds but super sticky and potent. Little traces of purple throughout the buds. Has a really great smell and smoke. The taste reminds me of old school God bud or Kush - a real syrupy flavour. The kind of taste that lingers in your mouth for a while after smoking one. Also, re-lighting a half joint still produces the same flavour rather then a resiny roach taste which is a huge bonus. Stone is pretty strong but still not debilitating for me. Burns really clean. The couple of joints I smoked didn’t have a large resin ring but the taste and high were still stronger than other Skookum strains I’ve tried. Slept solidly through the night which is why I picked this up in the first place. Being someone with PTSD and night terrors it was a welcome relief to sleep straight through. Munchie factor was relatively high for this stuff. I’ve been off sugar for three weeks now and this was the first smoke I’ve had that it was an actual battle to not eat everything sweet in my house. Disappointed to find my half ounce can was short a half gram. That’s not much I know but when you’re paying basically $10 bucks a gram it would be nice if you actually got what you paid for. This was a first for me being shorted with the tin series so it’s not too big of a deal. Overall, another quality product from the crew at Skookum. **Quality: 9.5 out of 10** **Value: 9 out of 10** On a small side note: the new black tins that Skookum is using actually fit with the plastic lids. The last few tins I’ve had the plastic lid wouldn’t seal so I had to instantly put it into jars. I still prefer using jars to using tins but getting an actual seal is nice regardless.

Ultra Pink- Budmail- July

WOW. Stoney and spacey; this is a heavy hitter. Calming and euphoric effects are overt. I went for physio after a dube and I failed all the balance tests, and couldn’t focus on the therapist’s instructions. She subtly inferred that she knew the origin of incapacity. Later I huffed another and sat down to watch some tube, lasted 10 minutes before passing out on the couch. Kush lovers will rejoice in the potency of this lovely offering from Skookum. The regal linage does not disappoint. Mostly bigger medium sized buds with a few small ones mixed in. Very sticky and resinous. Crystal covered. Dense. Respectable trim with a few sugar leafs for show. Vibrant green wrought with fiery hairs. Nose of gas and earth, with hints of skunk and something sweet or floral. Interesting taste that’s hard to peg, but enjoyable. Nice burn. Smoke expands in the lungs and gives a little kick. It didn’t make the weekly sale list so it cost full pop, but I don’t mind paying for this kind of quality. Unfortunately BM suspended the free delivery option for orders under two bills, but I suspect it’s because Canada Post totally dropped the ball and delays were outrageous.

God's Green Crack- Budmail- July

I stretched this one out because it was really nice. I had to exercise some self-control to save a bud for the host of a cottage I was invited to. Tuned out to be a good call: the host enjoyed an afternoon spent on the dock under the influence, and said as long as I came with primo smoke I was welcome anytime. Rich green and purple hues peppered with red hairs. Beautifully trimmed. Cured for quality. The half was comprised of all medium sized, dense buds. Smooth clean burn. Very pungent flavor with notable influences of earth, skunk, and sweet fuel. Effects are nice and sedating with a shot of happy and a pinch of thoughtful. Upfront I’m motivated and uplifted; then things meander towards chill while keeping a grin pasted to my wrinkled face. A really exceptional smoke for socializing. Again, I waited for the weekly sale and therefore the value was exceptional.

Received this stuff a while back and just noticed today that Budmail has another batch up on their site, so I thought I’d post a review. The buds are gorgeous. Large, dense, jade green and purple with a heavy layer of trichomes covering many long pistils. Pungent, sweet scent. Great potency. Can definitely taste the mint on the exhale. Effects are euphoric and hazy at first. Reminds me of a heavier, more indica-leaning GSC. After a couple of hours I was glued to the couch, so probably best saved for evening use.

Thin Mint Cookies by Skookum - Budmail, Mid July

Well, this was an unexpected treat. I’m usually not a huge fan of the ‘Cookies’ genetics for some reason. The smell and taste of these strains usually don’t do anything for me. This stuff though was a hit and I’m happy I went for it. My half consisted of all 1.5-3.5 gram buds. Smell was slightly minty and earthy. Taste matched the smell but with a bit of a vanilla/dessert flavour on exhale. Ash was the signature white/ grey that everyone expects from Skookum. Oil ring was present on a joint and I also found that this produced oil patches on the paper similar to the Crunchberry Kush I reviewed the other day. High was strong and excellent for lounging about. Not couch lock, actually pretty similar to the effects of the Crunchberry Kush but without the munchie factor. This is an after work/ evening strain for me but what I love about it is I’m not completely written off. It provides an excellent overall stone and has very little to no burn out effect on me.
