Kootenay Botanicals

My second time trying Skookum tins. Visual - 9/10 - cans squish the damn buds lol Nose- 7/10 - the nose on this strain was not as intense or flavour full as the Crunchberry from skookum. High- 10/10 - wow. This is up there with one of the best highs I’ve had since before the pandemic. Very intense cerebral and body sensations. Great for morning or evening. Heavy but still workable! Value- 8/10 - I feel with these skookum tins there is a smaller margin of error than compared to say other craft series. However the tag is very high. I recommend most smokers try one for the experience but I am unsure if it will be my continued way to order craft level flower.

Amazing stuff got a15% on a sale. Haven’t tried it wet but I’m about to.

I’m been very happy using Kootenay Botanicals lately. I’ve been happy with both of quality, selection and service. Plus they always give out discount codes in their news newsletter. I hope to have an in depth review of this flower strain posted soon, I just need to experience it again once or twice. I will this though, this is definitely craft cannabis.

Bag appeal - 9/10 (the tin does squish the buds a little bit) Nose- 9.5/10 great cookie profile with a sweet berry flavour mixed in High- 8/10 not as heavy as I was hoping. Still a nice clean high with great relaxing properties. Value- it’s skookum so the price was up there. For the quantity and quality it makes sense though I would prefer the product in a Glass jar or bag over the tin. 8/10

I love this strain, been on the hunt for this one since herbal dispatch had some back then. I cannot be sure if it’s still the same pheno but it really feels like it might be. Clear head high with no anxiety that makes you feel happy all day long! 220 for an ounce would be the fairess price, had it 25% for 420. Landrace feelin fellas

It contained CBD Skin Cream, CB Dream CBD flower, Widow Cheese flower and a Hash Sampler. small u.jpg Products: CB Dream CBD from Kootenay Botanicals – Indica Hybrid – (AAAA) Visual: Wow! Very beautiful visually! Tons of big Trichomes in and out and cool bright greens and dark purple/black leaves. Nose: It had a very earthy nose at first but when I opened it up I got a really nice sort of berry sweetness. Roll: It rolled great. It almost felt dry because of all the crystal. It was a little bit sticky on the inside. Taste: It had a very earthy and almost dirty taste to it. Not much of the sweetness came out. Burn: It burnt ok. Tiny bit harsh and the ash was a little bit S&P. Potency/Effects: Not really much of any THC effects. Mainly the CBD medicinal benefits from this one. Overall score – 8.7/10 (Potency and effects not taken into consideration) small 1.jpg Widow Cheese from Kootenay Botanicals – Indica – (AAA) Visual: It was a pretty light green with a bit of light brown and even yellow hairs. It had lots of crystal coverage. Pretty nice looking! Smell: Very cheesy nose to it! It a really funky cheese like a blue cheese or stinky feet, haha. Roll: It rolled up great. It almost felt a tiny bit dry but it was a bit sticky on the inside. Taste: The taste was more earthy with a bit of the funky cheese. Tiny bit harsh. Burn: Burns good. The ash was a tiny bit S&P but it was a fairly heavy smoke. Potency/Effects: I could feel it build up to a decent buzz. It was an all over kind of buzz. Overall score – 8.7/10 small 2.jpg Hash Sampler - 1 gram of each - Pink Kush Kief, BC Afghani, OH Kush Bubble Hash, Honda Z and Moroccan. Bag Appeal- 9/10 - Nice trichome covered nugs. Medium to large nugs. Quality trim. Nose - 10/10 - Really shows off the 'greasy' profile in the nose. Smells like an earthy hash with skunk notes. Smoke-9/10 - very resinous, a heavy earthy taste. High - 9/10 - This was my before bed pick up this order. Heavy body high with a nice relaxing effect. I will likely be taking a nap after this one. Value - 7/10 - Same thoughts as the Dosi Pop from Kootenay....High quality product with a high price tag to match. Wanted to treat myself during quarantine.
